About
Combine unique Georgian culture and nature. Explore Kartli and Javakheti regions, small towns Borjomi and Gori.
Uplistsikhe was the residence of the Lord of the local tribal leader. It was named so because the leader of the tribe had a great power. The name also comes from here. Lord of the fortress, or in short Uplistsikhe. The name Uplistsikhe was still used during idolatry, therefore the Lordship of the Tribe Leader is a term denoting power and not religion.
Borjomi is a resort town in central Georgia. It's known for its mineral waters, with springs in Borjomi Central Park. Nearby, trails wind through the vast wilderness of Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park.
Mtskheta is a city in Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia and its former capital, it is located approximately 20 km north of Tbilisi, at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers

- Dhanashwikaa G0 contributionsWill visitAGAINgeorgiawithgeorge❤️🥰We had an amazing 3-day tour in Georgia with Beso as our driver and guide! He showed us all the must-see places in Tbilisi, shared a lot of interesting history and local insights, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We also visited the stunning Ananuri Fortress and planned to go to Gudauri, but unfortunately the road was closed due to heavy snow. Still, Beso made sure we had a great time and adjusted the itinerary smoothly. He was professional, friendly, and always made us feel safe and comfortable. Highly recommend booking a tour with him!Written 21 March 2025

- Subbu_Karthick0 contributionsAmazing and beautiful Experience - Georgia Tour with GeorgeWe had amazing and adventurous experience during our stay at Georgia arranged by "Visit Georgia with George". He was very helpful and a informative person who arranged for a pleasant and memorable stay at Georgia. Everything was arranged in a professional way starting from the Airport pick-up, hotel stay, local transportation and return back to airport covering all the important locations and tourist spots as per the itinerary. He had helped us to find good Indian Restaurants at Tbilsi, Bakuriani for lunch and dinner. I highly recommend "Visit Georgia with George" especially for families who want to make their Georgia visit into an memorable and enjoyable experience.Written 17 February 2025
- Jan Carlo B0 contributionsSuperb Experience in GudauriIndeed Gudauri satisfied our expectation. There’s a lot of activities you can do in Gudauri from skiing, to cable cars, to snow mobile and paragliding. My son who is 5 yrs. old had a lot of fun using the kid-friendly snow car - because the area provides a good slope for kids to enjoy the snow safely. Also, within the area - restaurants and washrooms are available. Plus factor is that there are so many areas good for picture taking and sight seeing. Though it will be a long ride from city to Gudauri - having our Super Guy Tour Guide George - the long drive is enjoyable - he will keep you entertained and well informed about the trip so the whole journey is superb!Written 17 February 2025
- Mai K0 contributionsGreat Trip to GudauriWe had a wonderful trip exploring Georgia, and our tour guide, Beso, made it even more enjoyable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing so much about Georgian history, and we really appreciated his insights. He was also very patient with us, as we were traveling with two younger kids and needed some downtime along the way. The only thing I would note is that the roads to Gudauri can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially at night. If we were to do it again, we’d definitely aim to leave as early as possible in the morning to make sure we’re back before sunset. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this tour!Written 17 February 2025
- 119ranjitp0 contributionsVisit Georgia with GeorgeWe had an amazing time with *Visit Georgia with George*! Our trip from Dubai to Georgia was smooth sailing from start to finish. The 9-day tour was a perfect mix of history, adventure, and relaxation. Tbilisi’s city tour was awesome, and we loved all the cool spots, like the Peace Bridge and Mother of Georgia. Kakheti wine tasting? Yes, please! The views in Gudauri were insane, and we had a blast skiing and snowmobiling. Batumi was so charming, and the Black Sea yacht trip was a highlight. Our guide, Anna, was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, informative, and always willing to help with any questions. And George's father, our driver, was a gem! He was so experienced, never in a hurry, and made sure we were all comfortable on the road. The hotels were great, and everything was just so well-organized. If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free trip to Georgia, *Visit Georgia with George* has got you covered! Highly recommend! Visit Georgia with George for an unforgettable adventure!Written 17 February 2025

- hoopiet0 contributionsGEORGIA - THE REAL DEALThere are two Georges to this Georgia story. George I who runs the VISIT GEORGIA WITH GEORGE business and George II, our personal guide for nearly two weeks. The first George chatted to my husband and me on Whatsapp from our home in Sydney and talked to us about what we had in mind for the tour, the pace of the trip etc. He gave us good advice about where to go, how to criss cross Georgia in the time we had and lined us up with the main George of the story - our wonderful, personal driver and tour guide. So this review is mostly about George II. George II is in his 30's, is highly educated, has a young family, a comfortable car and is a great driver with excellent knowledge of the countryside, back roads, hidden gems and major attractions. He has an in depth understanding of the politics, culture and history of his country, interacts positively with locals and did everything he possibly could to make our trip the totally memorable holiday it was. He has a fabulous sense of humour and was excellent company - important when you're spending so much time together. There was never a sense for us that he was "just" our driver - conversations flowed easily and comfortably, his English is outstanding and we included him as much as we all wanted in meals, walks, drink breaks etc. We went our separate ways for dinner each evening. We slightly amended the trip originally planned to allow for "down" days when we didn't fancy being in the car or road tripping. Because we did spend a lot of time in the car. In hindsight, we possibly could have planned the geography of the trip itself slightly more efficiently but no regrets! We visited Georgian beauty spots, places of worship, historical buildings, wineries and vineyards, and all the time with George's interesting and knowledgeable insight. There was never a sense that it was all too dry and boring - on the contrary - we were fascinated to soak up as much as we could and George is very perceptive about personalities, energy levels, etc. George quickly grasped that for us, our trip was not just about getting from A to B and ticking off another place of interest but about special lunch spots, meeting Georgians and experiencing the amazing culture of the country. He took us off the beaten track to find wonderful local restaurants where the owners took us in and cooked their specialities. Out of the blue, one group of locals paid for our dinner one evening without us realising and we ended up drinking copious amounts of chacha (local vodka) with them, learning local customs and making toasts to the dead and living! On another day, a huge group of working men who were having lunch sent food to our table. We reciprocated with wine and chacha and ended up making speeches, toasting Georgia (*with Tamada's approval) and communicating via George and the waitress. *It seems that every large table of diners has a Tamada - the head of the table, controller of who says what and when, who toasts and drinks and traditional patriarch of Georgian Feasting. At least, that's our interpretation. So we loved the authenticity of the trip and getting slightly more than skin deep. At another lunch spot, we met the Leader of one of the Opposition parties who was canvassing the day before the General Elections. Traffic was chaotic on that day - bus loads of people from the countryside were being paid to travel into the city to vote. Luckily George navigated some hairy back roads but that was a loooooong day in the car. Initially we asked George I for hotel recommendations but I went out on a limb and booked hotels myself. I'm super fussy so I booked lovely boutique rooms (with a bath and shower!!!). There is lots of choice across Georgia from boutique to basic, depending on budget and requirements. We loved Rooms Hotels around the country. A consistently cool vibe with knowledgeable and helpful staff. We flew from Sydney to Tblisi via Dubai and left from Tblisi to London via Istanbul. I believe there are now flights from Australia to Turkey which would make Australia to Georgia via Istanbul much easier/quicker. Our trip took in Tblisi, Borjomi, Kutaisi, back to Tblisi, Telavi, Kazbegi and back to Tblisi - and with lots of stops and sights/sites in between. The countryside is beautiful, like all countries poor in parts, rich in history, every building seems to be covered in vines and the wine history and culture is (unexpectedly for us) everywhere. The Russian/Georgian history is palpable and there is much to learn for most Westerners. We travelled through the last two weeks of October and had perfect weather. Sunshine and blue skies almost every day, a vague smattering of rain one day and snow in Kazbegi - which we expected and wanted! I told George I'm always lucky but October is a great time to be in Georgia. Very few tourists, great weather, fantastic hospitality. The whole shebang! We bought beautiful original art in Tblisi and a bit of old Russian propaganda art. Getting it all back to Sydney was a palaver but it's all re-framed and hanging now so we are getting over the trauma!!!! There is probably more to add to this and photographs will follow. It was our very first snow experience, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking snow-covered landscapes left us in awe. Sergi was an exceptional guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and patient—ensuring we had the most memorable day. He guided us through various activities like sledding, building snowmen, and simply enjoying the magical winter scenery, making the experience seamless and enjoyable for everyone. Gudauri’s pristine snow and the excitement of trying snow activities for the first time made it a day we will cherish forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more perfect setting for our first snow adventure. Even as a seasoned globe trotter I can tell George is truly the best guide you could possibly get anywhere, he is knowledgeable, goes well beyond and above to make sure your experience is memorable, a true Hospitality industry man, not your average driver. He is also a very skilled photographer that will help you capture the highest quality photos and videos.
When you take the private tour, it has all the perks of the flexibility you need, highly recommended it’s well worth the money over group tours.

The entry fees is 5 gel and there is no discount for the students except the residents of borjomi for whom the entry is free of cost . It's the house of mineral water reserve which is historically very significant. One should definitely try the mineral water there as it is free of cost and has many medicinal quality. Also there is an amusement zone withing the park for the kids .However just to visit it from Tbilisi seemed to be quite expensive as it costs 12 gel via mashukta for one way .So make sure to go around another places and leave early for borjomi to make it worth .

Borjomi is a great place to visit if you are seeking some thrills and good scenic views.
We saw the waterfall, did buggy riding, shooting, took some nice pictures. The guide was very kind and plucked some raw green apples right from the trees for our son. There’s also horse riding, cable car etc for those interested.
Overall was a great experience and would recommend Georgia with George!
