Not only was his driving great, he also had extensive knowledge of the sights we visited and the history of both Armenia and Georgia. We also had some wonderful chats in the car on the journey about all sorts of things, a wondeful man. Would definately reccomend this trip and the company as a whole. Once in Georgia we used again for another trip based on the enjoyment of this one. Communicatiom from the company was brilliant with a contact provided from the start and easy ro get hold of at any time via whatsapp. Ten out of ten all roundWritten 1 November 2024

We had a wonderful walking tour the first day, visiting historical buildings, arts, sculptures, we had a wonderful boat tour and got to walk over freedom bridge, took a tram to botanical garden and statute of mother Georgia. 2nd day we took some free time from the tour and walked around the city center and took the red bus. The last day was a tour to Chronicles of Georgia and two Monesteries. Highly recommend the experience. The hotel "Address 9D" was comfortable, cozy and clean.Written 17 October 2024
- kaitlenanddean0 contributionsAwesome full day of sights and history! We had an amazing experience on our private tour from Tbilisi to Kazbegi! Pick-up from out hotel was super convenient, and our guide, Davit, was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions about Georgian culture, history, food, and everyday life, while also timing everything perfectly to help us avoid crowds by starting early. The hike to Gveleti waterfall was unforgettable with stunning views, and Davit took some beautiful photos for us throughout the day. He was flexible, allowing us to customize the tour and make the day exactly how we wanted it. By the end, it felt like we’d made a great friend. We'd love to come back to Georgia to experience more tours with Davit.Written 17 October 2024

His storytelling skills truly brought the region to life. Dito also recommended some of the best places to try delicious dishes in Tbilisi, which was a fantastic highlight of our trip. We spent part of our honeymoon in Georgia and had 5 amazing days with Karlo. He’s not your typical tour guide and he felt more like a friend who was showing you around his country and taking you to his favorite places. He was flexible, punctual, funny, fluent in English, and most importantly genuine and trustworthy. I learned so much about Georgia through his stories and his vast knowledge of everything from wine making to religion to Georgian history.
He provided excellent recommendations but was not pushy or forceful with our itinerary. He picked us up at our hotel in Tbilisi and we headed to Kazbegi for 2 nights and Telavi for 2 nights, making a stop in Signagi on our way back to Tiblisi. We hiked and harvested wine and wine tasted and saw waterfalls and climbed fortresses and the list goes on! He was patient with all the photos we were taking and knew where the best shots were at every location. We feel very grateful to have found Karlo and recommend him to anyone coming to Georgia whether it’s your first time or 10th time. I promise you it will be worth it!

A fantastic tour from start to finish! Givi was prompt with his organising and arrival on the morning of the tour. He was very knowledgeable along the route, giving explanations of passing sites as well as traditional Georgian wine techniques. Accompanying us on the first stop, he provided additional information as well as that of the in house guide to which was extremely helpful. The traditional bread and cheese was a highlight. Givi answered any questions that we had and was keen throughout the day to check that we were having a good time. I would highly recommend this tour, as it was private tour, we had some additional perks e.g - fresh, hot bread, rather than warmed up, photo opportunities throughout the day when ever we wanted them and we were able to enjoy each activity at our own leisure without being hurried along. Thank you for a fantastic day!

The trip was very well structured, didn’t waste no time but was very chill and relaxed. Everything planned out was perfect and fun to do. The driver was extremely skilled avoiding all traffic and taking all the needed shortcuts. The wine factory that they take us to is really fun they give about 6 wines and u can buy then later for a cheaper price. The advisor was very friendly and kept telling us many facts about the land around us.

We had such an amazing time with Salome, the guide! She went above and beyond to provide us with information about her country and familiarizing us with the customs, culture and history. She was very friendly and takes a lot of pride in her country and the work she does.
The tour itself was fantastic, stopping at some very beautiful places and tasting some nice wines. I would highly recommend booking this private tour!

One of the advantages of having Karlo as your guide is that he is also a photographer, so you will get amazing photos and the funnest ideas of how to pose... this trip is an experience that we will always remember, the food was amazing and it was really cool how the winemaker family opened their house to us, our kids played with theirs, and we ate the best Georgian BBQ. Karlo caters to his audience perfectly, even finding interesting stories and stops to keep our 11 and 9 yr old engaged and happy. 100% recommend.

I have had an amazing experience with beautiful spots and superb tour guide(s)!! The first stop of my adventure in Kakheti was to a wine manufacture and from the first sip i know that Georgian wine is amazing (and affordable), I have really had to up my drinking game here cause it’s not only one or two wines but there were five plus cha cha (Georgian local brandy).
The second stop was to a small shop selling adjika and small shop selling shoti bread with cheese (strong and salty type), it paired perfectly with the bread 😍
Karlo also showed me the grave of Nino and the cute town of Sighnaghi where i can took walks along the city wall (or fortress), the view from the wall was absolutely incredible, I really enjoyed!
The cherry on top from Kakheti tour was a visit to charming winery Gurami Papa’s winery, their wines are completely organic and made in a very traditional way. The winery is also a family run. Again i gotta taste wine and cha cha!!! Gaumar-jos.. Gaumar- jos .. Gaumar - jos jos jos 💪🏻🇬🇪

Our friend recommended Karlo to us and it was the best decision we made! Karlo picked us up on time, he shared information about Georgia’s history and the wine history. He gave us so much information while he drove us that we didn’t feel the distance. It was a very scenic drive. We did the Kakheti wine tour where Karlo brought us to the factory winery. We tasted several wines here. The weather was great and cold (i mean for us as we come from a hot country) He then took us to another place where they made bread from a coal brick oven. The hot bread was amazing with the cheese! We then went to Signagi, the city of Love. Amazing scenary and ambience. The walk up was relaxing. You could see the long wall that kept Georgia safe. Speaking of Safe, Karlo used to be a champion Boxer in his early years 😂 so we felt safe around him. We then went to Gurami Papa’s, a family owned winery… Aaaaammmaaazzinnngg Wine!!! We met Ani who shared the history of Gurami Papa’s winery and made us taste several wines over stories and laughters. Special mention to Nala who was the sweetest and friendliest dog. Also, the multi talented Karlo is an excellent photographer as he had experiences as a Cameraman. He took many beautiful photos to capture our wonderful experience of Georgia. Georgia’s history and culture is being passed on and shared so efficiently by Karlo. Keep up the great work! We will be back on February so we will definitely see you soon! To everyone who is planning to visit Georgia, we recommend Karlo. You will have your money’s worth! Thank you Karlo! Regards Anila And Thess!

I highly recommend Karlo’s Kakheti trip because his value is in his style, good vibe, friendly attitude and the ability to plan with customized details. We had an unforgettable private Kakheti day with lots of highlights of good places, good food, good music and good company. In every place we went he knew what to order or to do and those were the best! He is very knowledgeable and very friendly but his difference is he is very passionate about his work. If something is not good enough for his customers, he just find better alternatives or transparently shares it with you. I was lucky enough to catch the last day of the holly Easter week in his hometown with a festival in the center and he was so kind to invite me to his family lunch which was an epic local experience for me! thank you Karlo again for this unforgettable trip!

I joined the tour, and the third option includes a full-course dinner. For lunch, we get to taste some chacha, wine, fresh local bread and snacks.
