About
Enjoy a private and authentic cooking class in a local home with your host Lasha and her mother, Elene. Elene is a great cook and has served as a chef for hundreds of events and banquets in Georgia. This is a perfect experience for anyone looking to connect with local culture over food. Your cooking class will take place in a local home kitchen where Lasha and Elene will teach you how to make 2-3 traditional Georgian dishes from their family recipes. After cooking, you will enjoy your meal together in your host's Tbilisi home. • Private cooking lesson in a local home • Introduction to Georgian culture and cuisine • 100% private activity • Experience Georgian hospitality in a residential Saburtalo neighborhood • Vegetarian option available

What to expect
This is a unique opportunity to visit the home of a local and explore traditional culture and cuisine. Elene will welcome you into her newly built apartment building. While sparsely decorated, her apartment is cozy and welcoming with lots of natural light and a view. During your 2-hour, hands-on Georgian cooking class, you will learn to make three dishes from scratch. The living/dining area and kitchen are separated by a counter which is where you will prepare most of your meal. Learn to make authentic Georgian dishes such as dolma (stuffed grape leaves), khinkali (Georgian dumplings) and imeruli khachapuri (cheese bread) during your Tbilisi cooking class.
