- NorthStar6822220 contributionsSafe place to visit. It's a very nice and safe city. The old town is a great place to walk around. The Ortodhox Catedral is amazing. The mountain with the statue of Mother Georgia and spectacular views of the city.Written 11 October 2024

- prakrithn20240 contributionsGreat tour and experience with a fantastic and knowledgeable guideOur group tour started early in the morning at 7:30 AM and our excellent guide Paata was perfectly on time. The tour itself is fantastic and Paata kept us laughing and entertained throughout the journey especially during the longer stretches between legs. The lunch arranged after the fantastic climb through Vardzia was incredible especially since the cave system was both fun and exciting to climb through. In case you can't climb a lot, I would recommend you rest below and not buy a ticket for the bus journey to the base of the caves. Paata was considerate and asked everyone if they could climb and did not take anything for granted. The highlight of this tour is Vardzia while Borjomi is very underwhelming. I would recommend that you request only a five or ten minute stop at Borjomi to taste the spring water instead of taking the cable car or park tour as those doesn't offer anything special and are expensive. Pros: Paata was a hilarious and knowledgeable guide, the Vardzia leg was beautiful and an incredible experience, food was fantastic, bus journey was comfortable. Cons: Borjomi offers nothing special and I would recommend skipping it if possible. Thank you Ushba for a great experience.Written 3 October 2024

- 240larsv0 contributionsLots of wines tasted in CaucasusInteresting tour to the beautiful landscape in eastern Georgia. Four winemakers were visited and their wines were tried. They were all interesting but maybe two or three had been enough. Inspelad some more time could have been used for a look around the town Sighnaghi. The bus was comfortable with AC and Wifi. When I booked the tour there was some confusion about the different places where you could get on the bus.Written 13 September 2024
- jeneeng20150 contributionsGreat intro to Georgian history and culture - short but rich experienceI did the half-day tour to Mtskheta because I wanted something easy and light (after a leisurely breakfast/ brunch instead of having to wake up so early), but still get a good taste of Georgia's history. This tour was indeed a good intro to the beauty that Georgia has so much of. The tour had three stops: Jvari Monastery (oldest church structure in Georgia), Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (where part of Jesus' robe is supposed to be buried!), and a bonus, Samtavro Monastery, which is a private church that used to be owned by the first king and queen who made Christianity Georgia's official religion (and are still buried there now). The tour guide, Paata, was very knowledgeable and passionate about Georgian history, culture and architecture. He mentioned he used to do archaeological digs with the National Museum (!), so I would say he was a trustworthy source of information. I learned a lot of interesting details, which really gave me a great appreciation of the country and made the rest of my stay so much richer. I usually ask a lot of extra questions on tours, and he was able to answer all of them without skipping a beat. Even the locals I talked to afterwards did not know many of the details I learned on the tour! Paata was also very organized about making sure the Russian speakers and English speakers got equal attention (and information). He kept up the narration both on the way to the sites and at the sites, which was useful to give context and save time before we got there. He made sure we spent enough time at each stop while also keeping us on schedule -- which can be very hard to do with tourists from different cultures. As for the booking process, I really appreciate how flexible they were about last-minute bookings. You can even book a few hours before the tour! I was able to contact them by WhatsApp since I could no longer book online and it was my only free day for a tour. They were very accommodating and friendly. Made me feel all the more that Georgia is such a welcoming country. The "bus" is actually a van, which is a really nice size for a tour group -- not too small like a car or crowded like a real bus. They also had multiple pickup points to make it convenient for everyone. Despite that, we left on time and arrived back to Tbilisi early enough to still enjoy some daylight walking around the city. Would recommend to all first-timers in Georgia!Written 13 September 2024
- Go657551610060 contributionsA great day tout with best tour giudMy sister and I are so happy with booking this amazing historical tour. The tour guide is just awesome. thank you a lot, he was so professional kind and patient.Written 11 September 2024
- I9482HFyousefa0 contributionsMy experienceThe experience was great the view was amazing not so much activity there is the bicycle zip-line which was fascinating experience especially if there is someone in the bridge taking a video of you and you take your time and stop mid ride. The swing was ok nothing special but it was nice. There is a restaurant didn’t try it but looks amazing there is a water fall at the bottom of the canyon either you walk to it i don't recommend for people who are not in shape and there is the car transport which is not free, unfortunately i didn't get that experience because i didn't know they the water fall at 5 pm which they didn't mention when we bought the ticket but looks fascinating. I wouldn't say it’s a full day experience especially if you arrive early morning you could finish everything in 4 to 5 hours if you take your time. The prices are entry fee 49 gel swing 35 gel bicycle zip-line 120 gel, also there is a vip package which include everything and a free coffee in 199 gel. The staff were really nice overall great experience.Written 3 September 2024
