    Highly recommend
Mr. Young was our tour guide. He is so awesome! I highly recommend this DMZ trip (full day tour), we got to go to the observatory, the third tunnel, the peace memorial park, and the suspension bridge! Each location we got to stay for about one hour. By 2:25pm we started leaving our final location to go back to Seoul. Good trip if visiting for the first time.

Great tour, well organised. Mr Young was an enthusiastic guide throughout the tour. My favourite spot was Dora Observatory & the Suspension bridge, definitely worth walking round to the waterfall, it was beautiful!

Junie DMZ Tour Guide 5 Stars
Junie was the best guide and knew so much about the DMZ and both the cultures of north and South Korea. She was very kind and helpful and overhearing other tours was able to quickly see how much more knowledgeable she was than any other guide we came across.

    Great tour
Mr young was very knowledgeable and patient with the small group. There were people in the group who did not follow directions well and couldn’t do the long walks so that was the only part I would change. The stops were so interesting and we enjoyed our trip

    My Young guided tour
Mr Young was a great and kind person and guide. Explained details of each stop. Tour included much historic information about Korea and Great Britain, little about USA.

Highly recommend DMZ whole day tour.
Our guide Young was excellent! So was the program, maybe just timewise a bit too tight. The highlight was the 3rd tunnel.

    Loved the secret gardens
Junie was an excellent guide, and we had a fantastic time touring Changdeokgung Palace and Secret Gardens. Loved the National Folk Museum of Korea as well where we learnt about the traditional Korean life cycle.

Half day to DMZ with amazing guide Sadie, who was efficient, funny, and so knowledgeable.
Learnt so much history.
It was touching to see all the monuments to separated families in Peace Park, and incredible to descend into the Third Tunnel underground. The tunnel was very steep and quite low - not recommended for anyone with back problems, or difficulties walking steep incline, but participants could choose to remain at the top and wander the above ground facilities.
We left Seoul super early, a 5am start which put us at the head of the queue when the DMZ opened at 9am.
There were cafeteria style eateries to buy breakfast and coffee while we waited for our appointed time for the DMZ. It seems that the tours who arrived later had quite long waiting times for their turn to enter the DMZ, which is tightly controlled by the military.
Private cars are not permitted to enter the DMZ, so booking a tour is essential.
So worthwhile, so glad we took this tour.

First, I'm hesitant to share my feedback of the experience. It is mostly negative, and I have seen the tour company respond defensively to negative feedback. So hopefully this review is helpful for others.

Most experiences can be improved with setting clearer expectations.

Our guide did her best, was super friendly and informational.

I think the planning of the tour itself can be improved. We had too much time waiting with nothing to see, and then very few minutes to actually read and learn at the exhibits at each site, which is why I think it would be better to just organize the tour on your own.

There were times we were literally running to catch up with the guide. I understand she had time pressure from someone else, but we missed so many informational points as a result.

For the actual tunnel, why couldn't it be an option for our group to take the shuttle back up? We were all very concerned about an elderly couple in our group that had to walk down and then back up an extremely long and steep slope.

For the last stop, the unification village. It wasn't anything but a shop that we were forced to walk through. Even though the title of the tour specified 'no shopping'. It wasn't policed, but when someone in our group asked the guide if we were required to buy something she said yes.

As for Trip Advisor, I have been receiving emails 4-5 times every week with completely jumbled messages. I've tried blocking but it still comes up. I wasn't going to leave a review but now I will. Trip Advisor helped find the tour service, but so far as the platform goes, super frustrating. You can leave me alone now.

Dear customers Thanks for the feedback and we are sorry to hear you have not satisfied with the tour. DMZ is controlled by military and we have to follow their schedule and policy so we had to wait for long time to enter the DMZ in last 3 months by unstable situation. But it is more stable now and we can enter the DMZ without long waiting time lately. This tour is proceeding as "No shopping" definitely and we think you misheard what they talked between the another customer and guide. We held a hearing with your tour guide for your feedback about forcing to buy, and the guide had never mention that the customers had to buy something as we've never forced to buy something at the souvenir shop (Not shopping shop) when we stopped by in the DMZ. The guide just helped when a customer want to buy some souvenirs and explained about the local products. But we will re-educate our guides once more about satisfying tour with your feedback and make our all efforts for better tour. And we will ask Tripadvisor to stop sending automatic e-mail for request review any more. Best regards,

This was an incredible experience which I would recommend to anyone! Our tour guide Sadie was extraordinarily knowledgeable and friendly. We had a wonderful experience including clear pick up instructions, excellent information during the tour and adequate time at each attraction. This tour exceeded our expectations!

For those interested:
- We were picked up from a train station near our accomodation at 8:50am, arrived at Imjingak park around 10am where we had free time to explore until our bus at 12pm. We then reached the DMZ and explored returning to Seoul around 4:30pm. You will be required to bring your original passport with a few security/military checks during the tour - this was a very smooth process with Sadie explaining everything in detail.

The tour was great. Our guide Loyd was so good and gave us so many background information.

Due Covid and limited number of tickets the pic up was at 5am in the morning, which is not really comfortable but at the moment the only guarantee that you can enter the DMZ

Had originally booked a 1/2-day dmz tour with Seoul City and ended up with N Tour due to technical reasons. Worked out really well for us. Our tour guide Libby was excellent. She knows is extremely knowledgeable and has a delightful sense of humour. She happily answered the many questions we had. She even anticipated the weather and switched order of sights to optimize viewing. Her openness and willingness to share personal stories was icing on the cake. We had a great experience. Highly recommended - ask for Libby!

Really interesting tour that gave a lot of context around the history of the war and the divide between North and South Korea.

Mr Young was the tour guide assigned to the group I was in and he was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Every time anyone asked a question he seemed very happy to answer.

I didn't really know what to expect going into it but am really glad I went for it. Of course how much you can see from the observatory will be weather dependent (we were blessed with perfect weather) but if you are thinking of visiting the DMZ I would highly recommend this tour operator.

Very informational & interesting tour. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Korea to learn about the brief history of the relationship between North and South Korea. It was exciting to be in the tunnel but also sad to see the bridge and feel the separation between families torn by the conflict. Our guide Crystal was knowledgeable, very articulate, kind and extremely helpful. She went out of her way to ensure everyone was settled and comfortable. She translated the Korean menu to my family and i and even ordered the food for us and told the waiter to make sure we receive the food in time for our next activity. Also, I marvelled at her memory, remembering who's missing in the group as some people tend to stray from the group. Get Crystal as your guide!
Also, I like the way the tour operator reminded me, the day before the tour, via What's App of the timing to meet. We were fortunate to be picked at Itaewon station as our hotel was nearby. Saved 30 mins of our time.

Mr. Young gave us an animated and informative tour of the DMZ. It included a walk down the 3rd tunnel, a view of North Korea from the observatory, and a stop at the Reunification Village. He kept our large group organized and on time and entertained us with captivating stories. I highly recommend this tour.

The trip was enjoyable, even more so with the tour guide, crystal, providing interesting stories about topics surrounding the korean war and DMZ that had me intrigued. Not only that, the tour guide is also very engaging admist the tour as they are able to dish out recommendations and explanations with ease. Aside from the tour guide, i believe the facilities themselves were worthy of praise by helping me understand the relations, alongside tensions between the two koreas in only a few hours of being there.
