Great Historical Tour of the City
My tour was excellent. I went with my girlfriend and our guide Jun met us directly at our hotel. We had to change hotels and they were flexible with our changing plans, even last minute. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took us to very interesting spots in Seoul. I feel that we were able to get a lot done in terms of historical land marks and learning about the city. It was very convenient to have our own private vehicle as well. I would highly recommend this service.

Freestyle tour you will remember for a lifetime.
First off I have to say that George has to be one of the best private guides in Seoul. George is a wealth of knowledge of Seouls history and its people. While you're looking at sites and taking pictures of these beautiful places George will take you through the historical significance of the josen great king of 1443 to the now of what Seoul is and their relations with North Korea. George has a pretty good history of his own working in the entertainment industry so there will never be a dull moment in conversing with him. I highly recommend this tour and George as the guide.

        Best Seoul tour
Instead, we strolled leisurely alongside the Gangnam waterfront park and finally, I came across the magnificent Han river that had been featured in so many Kdramas. The entire day wouldn't have been possible without the help of my dear friend Stella Yun❤️ who came to surprise me. She introduced and organized her friend Jun, who became our wonderful and excellent tour guide for the next few days. I would highly recommend him to anyone who comes to Korea for the first time. Patient and respectful to a fault. Helpful and knowledgeable. Was obliging to all crazy requests that was not in the itinerary. Apologisied profusely Kdrama actors no matter how much I tried to bribed him. But to give him credit we did drive down a few times to ltaewon and Gangnam street hoping for a miracle and he pointed me to a few Kdrama locations around the city. All this is thanks to you my dear Stella and the best guide Jun. I will come to Korea to travel with Jun. It's a fabulous day and seeing the sight of seoul with you.

        Private Seoul tour
The private tour was well worth the money. It was highly customized to places you wanna see instead of spending so much time in some places you don't enjoy. My tour guy Jun was fantastic. He was very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Jun. It was also nice to have someone taking photographs for your family

        Absolutely wonderful tour!
Excellent tour. Really highly recommend. Ginger was accommodating for last minute changes, designed a tour according to my preferences, and was happy to pick me up at the airport (even with a 4:30am arrival). We managed to fit all the highlights of Seoul into a 7 hour window, plus spontaneous activities. It was really fun!

        Seoul Hanok village tour
It was amazing tour, because of Ginger's kind and careful guide. We have been a lot of places including Iksun dong, Hanok village and downtown with tall modern buildings. Especially, I was fascinated with Kwanghwamun, because I could felt the tradition of Korea. Thank you for your great work again Ginger.

        Best Choice for traveling Jongno
It was good to enjoy the scenery of Seoul while walking slowly. I used public transportation and walking with the guide to look around Ikseon-dong, Insa-dong, Samcheong-dong, Gahoe-dong, and Gye-dong. It was good to be able to enjoy the wonderful hanoks and cute spaces while walking through the alleys. I want to be with this guide when I travel to other places in Korea. This is because it was comfortable throughout the trip and I had many new experiences, so it remained a good memory.

        Beautiful Bukchon and Insadong
It was nice day to walk around Bukchon and Insadong yesterday. Ginger was my guide for a day who was really professional and helpful all along. She took me to some historic places and unique art studios. Ginger's good knowledge and explanation helped me to unerstand the area. It was awesome experience. Big thanks to Ginger!

Jun is the best! An amazing experience!
With only a 12 hour layover, we could not have been more pleased with the introduction to Korea and its wonderful culture that Jun provided! Our family of 4 (including our 2 teenage daughters) had a wonderful day learning of Korea’s history, current affairs, and spectacular cuisine! Cannot wait for a return trip!! Thanks, Jun!!

My tour guide Junwon is very accommodating and has good knowledge of the place, knows the best and cheap places to eat. My favorite experience is shopping around In-sadong area and funniest is eating poop pancake!

        A beautiful day
I made a last day booking of the tour. I was very happy to still see my booking go through and meet my guide, Ginger. For my first day in Seoul, she was excellent and made sure I was comfortable and guided throughly. She was very knowledgeable as she explained the history and the transition to modern era from the gyeongbokung palace, to buckchon village to the streets of Indadong. We had a traditional Korean meal and it was as fascinating as it could be. I had an amazing time with a trusted local guide. Thank you and hope to see you on many more ventures to come. :)

        Worth it!
Ginger was such a knowledgeable and kind tour guide! I booked this trip last minute and she was so sweet and adjusted the trip based on some of my personal interests. If I’m back in Seoul, I would definitely just rebook so I had a local person to see other sights with!

        Blue House, Palace, Craft Museum
We went to the Blue House, the Palace, a Craft Museum, and lunch. Ginger was our tour guide and she was very nice and spoke wonderful English. She made the day easy for me especially as I am new to Seoul and did not research or plan the day. She arranged all the transportation and also made sure we caught the free tourist shuttle between the Blue House and the Palace. All in all it was a a fun day. Would definitely do it again and call Ginger again when my sister comes to town.

We chose Tour n Korea for our DMZ Tour because they could handle a group of 9. But I am recommending them because they were so fantastic to work with and great tour guides.

We took two vehicles. Jun drove one and Sophia drove our car. I had a bucket list of things I wanted to see and do on this tour and, with the exception of the JSA, they delivered. The JSA was closed. Our itinerary included the DMZ & Third Tunnel (if you are tall, be aware that the tunnel ceiling is very low...our guides explained this to us but it didn't sink in. My husband is 6'1" and he kept hitting head and was bent over for most of the time, at 5'1" I barely had to duck my head), Freedom Bridge, Dora Observatory, Imjingak/Nuri Peace Park and the Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge. Just a note to anyone wanting to experience the Gamaksan Bridge; to get to the bridge you must hike up a very steep hill. I made it, but barely because I'm 72 and not used to hiking up mountains. The bridge was worth the effort! It was magnificent! My husband could not finish the climb and rested on a bench along the trail. The rest of our family were fine with the hike (ages 12-54). After our hiking to the bridge, we ate at a wonderful Korean BBQ restaurant,Gamak Jeong. The area is known for its tofu (which was a surprise for us) and so we had to have some. It was cooked in a light broth with mushrooms and just so tasty. The BBQ was delicious as well and we enjoyed cooking together as a family. We also visited a village where there was a market and we were able to buy some ginseng tea and souvenirs. Ginseng is grown in the region around the DMZ area.

It was extremely hot during our stay in Seoul. This was a good tour for the very hot weather we experienced. The Third Tunnel is very cool and the mountains were much cooler than the city.

An added bonus came at the end of our tour when Jun & Sophia went out of their way to take us to the top of Bugak Mountain in Seoul. I had asked if it would be possible to drive up on one of the many mountains that surround Seoul and they were so kind to add that onto our already full itinerary. The views were breathtaking.

I would highly recommend Jun and Sophia for your next tour. They are very professional, always available via text and work hard to provide the best experience possible. Sophia is also a hiking guide. Since many in our family love to hike and the mountains are so beautiful, we'll definitely reach out next time we are in Seoul. But we'll do that when it's cooler!

I went on a private tour with Jun. He was a very good guide and went out of his way to make sure I got all the value I could get out of the experience. I know it was challenging as it was on a Monday and I wanted to go the DMZ Zone. Unfortunately much is closed on Monday, but Jun made it work anyway. I got to see a surprising amount of the DMZ sites and learned a great deal about Korean history and the 38th Parallel.

The day before, I had done a different city tour of Seoul and hit a lot of main attractions. However, Jun was able to find something I hadn’t done, and that was the Korean History Museum. This was a very nice compliment to the DMZ visit and it filled quite a few holes in my knowledge of Korean history. Being American, I was proud to see how much South Korea’s success has been linked to their partnership with the US since World War 2. The Korean people’s hard work, innovation, and resilience has led to the most incredible economic growth, in a very short period of time, that I have ever seen anywhere in the world. The museum Jun took me too really illustrated the transformation over the last 6 or 7 decades.

Jun also took me to the best Korean BBQ restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. Definitely not a place I would have found on my own.

Private tour guides for individuals or small groups are definitely more expensive than the big bus tours. But if it is within your budget, I would highly recommend it. I feel you get so much more out of it. It is like having a friend show you around their hometown. If you get Jun as your guide, you can’t go wrong!

Mr Jun organised a last minute DMZ tour for extended family with ages ranging from 25 to 80 years. He patiently answered all queries whilst we made arrangements for the day. The visit to the DMZ was seamless from hotel pickup, transfer to the DMZ ticket area, transfer to the DMZ bus and being guided through the maze of other tour groups to all the sights we had wished to see. He was extremely accommodating and made sure that my 80 year old mother did not miss out on any of the tour highlights. The bonus visit to a local Korean restaurant where we enjoyed a traditional Korean meal is a memory we will treasure and we know would not have been available on a standard tour.
We highly recommend this tour for a personalised and insightful tour and a memorable experience.

It was as very flexible and comfortable as the private tour is supposed to be! My guide looked very sharp and punctual as always. He guided us all the Korean history and cultural background info whenever we moved on to each spot! He didn't take us any clichés or corny touristic spots where always crowded foreign visitors go around, but rather he showed us a kind of secret place like one of Joseon Dynasty's royal tombs spread out all around near Seoul. It has very stylish Korean traditional architectural buildings. That is why those 40 tombs were all registered as World Heritage by UNESCO, UN, back in 2009.
In terms of lunch, it was way better for us to take the menu on our own budget and needs, rather than the lunch included in the tour package, which must be mainly crappy meals according to rock bottom cost cap by clever tour companies.
Once again, I highly recommend this tour if you may expect a more flexible and tailor-made private tour with no hustle and bustle. Thank you so much for all, JUN!

So glad we booked this tour while on a 12-hour layover! We were very happy with Jun, our tour guide, who made sure we got in the best sites of Seoul in the short time we had. We visited the Odusan Observation Tower where we were able to see N. Korea just across the way (just 2100 meters apart)!, and learned the history of what caused the divide. Jun also took us to enjoy a beautiful mountain-top view of the city, then to one of his favorite places to dine for lunch where we enjoyed an authentic and delicious Korean meal! We got to stroll down Insadong Street and picked up some local treats to bring home, then ended with a visit to the beautiful Gyeoungbokgung Palace. Jun’s knowledge and easy-going personality made us feel comfortable and helped to make our short visit a memorable one. I recommend this tour!

Jun was able to put together a great last-minute tour for our group of 5. As we had twin 11yr olds and my 86yr old father, who walks with a cane, it was no small feat that we saw all 6 of the sights we were hoping to see, along with a few extras. The additional commentary and background Jun provided made it an incredibly enjoyable day. It was fantastic to have someone drive us and ensure we were at the right location at the right time (ie before the masses) so as to make it a memorable and effortless day. I would highly recommend Jun and Tourbox Korea! Thank you!

Jun, the tour guide was cool. We had a great time! My only recommendation would be the site be more clear about the separation between the DMZ tour and the city tour. I did not know they were separate, but Jun made sure we were able to have both experiences. We appreciated his effort. Good tour with a great guide!
