About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- M7077LCmarkd0 contributionsDefective tripLong waits, apparently due to external events. This made for a tedious trip. Interesting to hear from the "defector" although, disappeared after a while. Maybe went back due to boredom?Written 8 October 2024
- emilios6250 contributionsRecommendSP was a great host and guide throughout the day. Very patient with the group! Informative, and entertaining! The oportunity to hear from a defector was very interrestingWritten 7 October 2024
- FarAway081734939520 contributionsBombarding Experience at DMZ with SPSP was amazing 🤩. Kudos! The visit to the 3rd tunnel is something that will not be forgotten.. the exhilarating moment and adrenaline pumping .. 🎊🎉Written 7 October 2024
- R4309ZOgordonl0 contributionsSpeaking face to face with NK defectorPretty cool. Good explanation. The tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Recommended. Defector Q and A was the highlight.Written 7 October 2024
- captshakespear0 contributionsInteresting Sites, But Poorly Organised and Overly LongThe DMZ tour had several issues. The tour guide was disorganised, and we spent a lot of time waiting around. It didn’t run to schedule, and the coach’s air conditioning broke, which added to the discomfort. While the sites were interesting to visit, there wasn’t much information available to read. The guide provided some details, but they were quite repetitive. The Q&A with the defector included a few interesting points, but it didn’t offer much beyond what you could easily find online and didn’t give a real sense of daily life in North Korea. Overall, the tour could have been done in half the time—it was interesting, but the whole day wasn’t necessary.Written 7 October 2024
- 850jys0 contributionsAn insightful tour of its own kind!I am glad that I have chosen this tour as Han has in depth knowledge behind the history of DMZ. The bonus of the trip was that we had a chance to meet and greet a North Korean defector and listened to her stories. Moreover, the overall tour was well planned. As I went on the day when a marathon was held causing a delay to the visit of the DMZ, the waiting time didn't feel long as we were occupied with a few other attractions visit along the way to DMZ. Highly recommend this trip if you like to know more about DMZ!Written 5 October 2024

- Dream335848272150 contributionsGreat experienceOur Guide Han did a great Job on explaining interesting facts about the DMZ, the relationship between SK and NK and History. The Tour contains a couple of stops which May Not all be interesting for everyone, but other Tours offer quite the same itinerary. The Tour was accomoanied by a north korean refugee which was a big Bonus and extremely interesting!Written 5 October 2024

I did the DMZ Tour with Mr. SP. He was a very good tour guide, probably one of the best tour guides I have had. He was very knowledgable and passionate about giving tours of the DMZ. He also talks a little bit about the current events and he keeps himself up to date with all the events.
The bus ride was very good. Since our tour occurred on a Saturday, getting to the DMZ from Seoul was very quick both ways. There was only a little traffic on the way back being inside Seoul of course, but it was a very quick travel overall. It was very eye-opening seeing the border. I wish I could have seen the JSA, but of course with the recent events, it was understandable why it was not available. Would like to go on a JSA Tour with Mr. SP if possible.
