The trip in Alexandria was nice and completed some of the key attractions that were there. Our guide was Bossi and she was fluent in english and receptive to all questions we had. She was able to explain key information on each site and its historical purpose. She was thorough and accommodating to our needs as we were practicing Muslims.
I liked that she gave us the option to choose between a seafood restaurant and a restaurant that meat and other items. We ended up choosing the seafood restaurant and the views were splendid, and the food was great as well. The driver, Ahmed Semsem, was very accommodating as well as we wanted to check out a Mosque and he was willing to take us there. Overall, it was a good tour experience.
I would note that the commute from Cairo to Alexandria eats up about 5-6 hours, so factor that in as it is part of the trip. Overall tour was about 5 hours. I would also advise the tour guide to give a heads up on this as well as any changes to the itinerary as we learned that due to covid the Alexandria library was not open to enter for visitors. Overall, good experience, and would recommend.

Wow, what an amazing day! Ayoub and Islam are such a great team and I recommend making a specific request for Ayoub and Islam. I have toured with three different companies and four different guides and by far this team was my favorite. I even added an extra tour (Old Cairo and market- I recommend this add on, you will have energy for it I promise!). Back to this tour- to start, Ayoub is a very knowledgeable guide that anticipates ones needs. He’s also an amazing photographer! The tour itself had the perfect mix of culture, knowledge, and site seeing. I learned about different cultural aspects like the mummification process as well as, many interesting fun facts about how the structures were built at each site. The lunch stop view was breathtaking and the food was very good. He made sure to include a mix of local customs which made it for a much richer experience. I have yet to pick a favorite part of my day because they were all so great. The stops were all carefully thought out and fit perfectly with one another. Even if you are in Cairo for only two days, don’t hesitate to book this as your tour. It’s a MUST.

I had an amazing tour of Alexandria by Suzan Omar (she can be found on WhatsApp for private tours). Suzan has a degree in Egyptology and a bountiful knowledge of her beloved home land. Suzan takes pride in her personalization of each tour and what "you" want to learn and see, not just the run of the mill basic knowledge. Suzan is very personable and makes sure to give you the utmost wealth of current findings in Egypt with the historical back stories on each venue that you choose to visit. I can not recommend a better tour guide than Suzan Omar, I had 3 total tour guides while I was in Egypt and she made sure make my experience (as with all clients I am sure) was taylor made for my enjoyment. She made sure not to bring me to any vendors (this is common for guides to bring you to "their vendors "(for a kickback of what you purchase)" I found out at the end of my tour this was what some guides do, my other 2 guides did this and it made me feel uncomfortable and taken advantage of. So this is another reason I highly recommend a guide who will not take advantage and take safety precautions (with COVID19 our current "new normal") for you and your group.

Our Tour Guide Stopped at the worst and most disgusting restrooms.
He Took us to lunch at a Cockroach infested restaurant...we walked out!
He Never stayed with us during each tour to explain things thoroughly.
He Kept trying to save himself money by taking us to free locations. For example he Tried to pass over the Pompey Pillar and go to a mosque instead (not on the tour list)
We felt rushed the entire time, so much so, that he insisted on taking a shortcut through a tour location that caused my wife’s shoe to rip and tear on the rough terrain.
He did not offer to pay the extra fees to see the entire library of Alexandria so we barely saw anything worth seeing inside.
Finally, he Made the driver go out of OUR way to drop himself off even though it delayed us getting back to our hotel by 45minutes after driving 2.5hours from Alexandria to Cairo

This day was the disappointment of our 10-day trip to Egypt. After good communication before our arrival, including the night before reminding us to be in our hotel lobby at 7am, we were excited. Then our driver didn't arrive. After multiple texts to the operator, all unreturned, over the course of an hour, we finally got confirmation that our driver was stuck in traffic and would arrive at 8:30. But when he arrived, our driver was quite clear that he had first been called at 8am and rushed into service. He was great, really great actually, but we lost the first 90 minutes of the day. And that came out of our tour of the city, which was nice but missed some key highlights. No entry to the Library of Alexandria, for example, which you should check in advance. And we were also surprised to learn part way through the day that our lunch and drinks and admissions fees were not included (despite what was printed on our reservation). This wasn't made up by the guide or driver, as the operator confirmed that we booked a trip without those options... despite what was printed on our receipt. So be really sure and confirm that you have enough cash for that. It wasn't expensive, just annoying. Be really clear in your communication, and as with everything in this part of the world, be flexible and patient because business deals have an element of slack to them that Europeans or North Americans might find... unexpected.

To complete our trip to Egypt we knew wanted to visit Alexandria. I booked this excursion and was excited about the sites we would see. Mohamed, our driver, safely navigated the at times hectic traffic on the drive to and from Alexandria. The car was clean, comfortable and air conditioned which made the 3+ hour drive each way palatable. Yasser, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and gave us interesting information at each stop but also reviewed the history of Egyptian rulers starting with the Old Kingdom. Given we were nearing the end of our trip this was a timely discussion.
The only issue we had was with the seafood lunch, which was delicious. It just would have been helpful to know the details of all we paid. Overall I would recommend this excursion to those visiting Egypt and appreciate the hospitality and informative discussion with our driver and guide.

Mimo tour guide amazing knowledge and friendly, gors at your pace and lets you relax and explore the sites and perfect english.
Really happy with the service, on time no issues, friendly and good driver.
Good tour operator cost is cheap and you get great service and resolved any issues with no hassle.

Purchased the all inclusive package which is supposed to include “Entrance fees+ Lunch VIP + Guide + Car +bottled water all inclusive.”
Our guide seemed to be more concerned about time than our experience and we were told to skip Pompeii’s pillar because the view was the same from the outside as if we went inside. We also weren’t taken inside the Alexandria library, only brought to the exterior for a photo.
Upon returning to our hotel and after tipping, our guide told us we must pay him for the entrance fees and lunch. We purchased the all inclusive package to have these fees covered under one cost but was told we still had to pay.
Despite explaining our circumstances to customer support asking to change our payment to the “Car + Guide only” package to reflect to fees we had to pay out of pocket, they refused a change.
Ultimately scammish behavior and extremely disappointed after having a previously good experience with this company a few days prior. Would not recommend.

We really liked our day! They picked us up from our hotel in Gyza and the drive to Alexandria is part of the experience as it is a beautiful farming landscape which was unexpected. It was also the opportunity to see the outback of Cairo - which we found very interesting. The Catacombs, Pillar of Pompei and Citadel of Qaitbey were interesting and the sea face was beautiful. The guide isbgreat and loves sharung his passion for Egyptian history. We got lucky with some sun and had a very nice time walking by the sea. We picked the option with lunch not included as it seemed to be much cheaper on trip advisor without lunch included and we ended in a very nice seafood restaurant and had a great lunch with the guide and the driver. The guide took care of everything, and at the end of the day it costs us an extra 1100EGP ( =33 Euros) for lunch, and the 2 coffees and 2 bottles of water - so 550EGP each. thanks again a great experience

This is a review of a full day tour of Alexandria from Cairo which I took on Dec 21. My tour guide was Nour and our car was driven by Bassam. She is a knowledgeable Egyptologist and answered all the questions I put forth to her and Bassam is a calm, safe and efficient driver with all the driving he had to do. It’s about 2.5-3hrs drive from Cairo to Alexandria hence at times it felt a bit hurried considering 6hrs goes in commute with heavy Cairo traffic. The tour guide is aware of this and hence was very quick and efficient at the locations, explaining the points of interest, the overall history behind those locations we went and she took wonderful pictures and also showed me points of interest for photography. She was a thorough professional and her experience conducting this tour was noticeable. She also helped my try a local Egyptian delicacy Koshari while hanging out at a beautiful spot on the beach. On the whole a wonderful experience and worth a try if you have a day to spare in your tour of the majestic historical country.

Can you just drive us (two adults) between Cairo hotel Sofitel in Zamalak and Hilton hotel in Alexandria with our luggage. We would like to use a private air conditioned car and wonder if you could do this?

I did not visit the amphitheatre. The Citadel, the catacombs and the Library pretty much covered a packed schedule. It was not part of the package but I wish it was. You might want to ask your guide if there's time to fit in such a stop.

You can book transport, cost is reasonable, via get transfer. Price is set and pay in advance. Unfortunately they can be sometimes unreliable. We found Uber very good in Egypt and cheap, depends where u want to go?
