          Amazing Tour
We had a tour with Ahmed Elsayed and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and helped us understand more about contemporary Egypt. I felt very safe with him as our tour guide and he brought us to an amazing restaurant and an aromatherapy store where we bought Egyptian oils. At every point of the trip, Ahmed made sure that we were aware and comfortable with everything. I would highly recommend this trip and I would love to return back to Egypt some day.

Highly recommend our tour guide Mustafa
My experience with Mustafa as our tour guide in Cairo was exceptional! He possesses a deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture, which he shared with enthusiasm throughout our trip. Mustafa's insights were invaluable; he effortlessly navigated us through the market, pointing out hidden gems and explaining the significance of each place. At the museum, Mustafa's passion for Egyptology shone brightly. His explanations of the artifacts were clear and engaging, making ancient history come alive before our eyes. He expertly guided us through the exhibits, ensuring we didn't miss any highlights. And of course, visiting the pyramids with Mustafa was a dream come true. His explanations of the architectural marvels were detailed yet accessible, and he patiently answered all our questions about these ancient wonders. Mustafa's understanding of the pyramids' historical context added a profound layer to our experience. Overall, Mustafa's professionalism, knowledge, and warm demeanor made our Cairo tour unforgettable. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Egypt!

Amazing time with Sam our guide and Mina our driver. Sam was very knowledgeable and let us choose exactly what to do and knew all the best photo spots! Mina navigated the busy Cairo streets expertly. The traditional Egyptian lunch was also very tasty

Highly recommend private tour to see pyramids, Memphis, and saqqara
First we were picked up by Ayman, our driver for the day, he was a phenomenal driver. He was always ready to pick us up amongst all our stops and kept the car nice and cool during the day. Gamal was our tour guide and he was full of incredible knowledge and had a great sense of humor through out the whole day. We started in Memphis and made our way to Saqqara and he did a fantastic job of explaining the importance and history of everything we saw. He even drew some great diagrams in the sand to help us see the way building pyramids evolved over time. He gave us plenty of time to explore on our own as well. And he has a knack for taking great photos and videos. We took a break from outdoor activities midday to visit a papyrus museum and got to see a demonstration on how papyrus was made. They clearly wanted us to purchase a souvenir but there was no pressure. We simply watched the demonstration and then left. From there we went to lunch. We enjoyed a traditional Egyptian meal which was included in our tour price (except drinks). After the midday break we headed to Giza to see the Great Pyramids. You definitely need that entire afternoon to explore these incredible structures. Gamal really made the whole experience so enjoyable with his explanations and great ideas and poses for photos. After walking around the base of the pyramids we drove to the camels and Gamal found us Camels to ride. He explained that we were lucky to come during the off season because we didn’t have to wait for a camel. We rode Camels and the handlers took our pictures for us. It was a really neat experience riding in the desert with pyramids in the distance. We loved doing a private tour that allowed us to move at our own pace, were able to ask all our questions and get to know our guide. His love for ancient Egypt paired with willingness to serve others was truly appreciated. He made the experience memorable and we would highly recommend this tour to any friends or family.

Great tour and overview of Egyptian history!
We loved our 2.5 day in Cairo! We spent our last day on this tour with Ahmed Elsayed and we had a fantastic experience! We decided it was way too hot to make it down to Luxor and even though it is still hot in Cairo, this is a great tour to take in the summer because you spend so much time hopping from an air conditioned car/buildings. Ahmed also had great recommendations to adjust our tour to a more comfortable experience which were appreciated (we opted to visit the relatively new National Museum of Egyptian History instead of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo which lacks A/C). We visited during the tourism low season in June, but Ahmed was able to help keep unwanted solicitors away and took plenty of photos with posing suggestions.

          Very well organized trip
We visited all the places in the description and the experience is above our expectations. We’re surprised that the lunch (we ordered grilled fish) is really good, even better than the food we usually have … our guide Wael Abdallah is very kind and knowledgeable. He answered all of our silly questions. The driver Hany is very caring and attentive as he offered us wipes after the camel ride and opened the door for us each time we got in/ off the car.

We were fortunate enough to be assigned to Aziza, our tour guide, for our tour of the pyramids of Giza. She was on time, exceptionally friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable. She is clearly an expert in her field and her English was exceptional and easy to understand. She throughly explained the history of Egypt very well and kept our group very engaged throughout the entire tour. She was professional, welcoming, honest, and eager to help in any way she can. She helped with photographs and guided us throughout the entire tour without being too overbearing or long winded. She knows the city very well and gave us so many tips on how to efficiently navigate this busy city and recommended several places worth visiting before heading back to the US. Overall, this experience was exceptional on all levels and I highly recommend Aziza to any incoming tourists wanting a tour around the pyramids of Giza!

We had a great time at the pyramids with guide Ahmed Elsayed, who was knowledgeable and had a good answer for almost every question (including: “we don’t have evidence for that,” which I appreciated). He was patient with our elementary-age kids’ questions and comments, and also as a private tour we didn’t feel pressured on time (which I had worried about when reading other reviews). We really appreciated being engaged mentally. Ahmed also took lots of really good pictures for us.

The highlight was going inside the pyramids. You have to pay extra at the entrance for this and there’s no guides inside. It’s not like it’s ornate but you feel like you’re exploring. Phones were allowed inside but not specialized cameras. Other stuff: camel ride was also nice — prepare to tip. Lunch was simple and cheap but excellent.

FYI if you’re having doubts or want more details…
I read lots of reviews beforehand about being cautious of scams so I was a bit on edge when the credit card system was down (for entry tickets). But not everything that doesn’t go perfectly is a scam! Ahmed and our driver helped us through it and we were thankful for that.

Also, be prepared for tips (also purchases) in local cash, though I am not an expert on tip amounts and may have made some mistakes.

Also, we had a rainy forecast. Yeah, we got wet. But it was a short burst of rain, and we took refuge in the nearest covered structure…a pyramid!… basically, it was still well worth it to go.

Also, be aware that the itinerary isn’t precise, and it seemed like we could play it by ear and even cut out some sections (we didn’t). We did 2 pyramids, then camel ride, then Sphinx, then perfume shop, then lunch, then the tour company office/souvenir shop, then papyrus shop. There is some social pressure to buy in some of these later stores.

Also, we were really glad we did this instead of the full-day 8-10 hour one, especially with our kids but also just for us. I napped a while afterwards!

Mustafa is hands down the BEST tour guide there is. Our family of 5, feel like we have gained a lifelong friend! Shortly after we booked the tour he began communicating with us and provided us a synopsis of what our day would look like and what time he would arrive at our hotel. Mustafa was very punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We started our day at the pyramids, then we enjoyed the camel rides (our younger boys age 7 & 10 did not want to stay on the camel, Mustafa assured us they would be fine w/him as we rode the camels) upon returning, we found Mustafa & the boys laughing & playing as if they had known each other a lifetime. From there we went to the Spinx, what a sight to see! Mustafa not only guided us, he was VERY knowledgeable about the history & facts. He graciously took pictures of us at each stop even recommending great photo op spots. The museum was another great part of the tour, Mustafa knowledge of the statues & artifacts was impressive. I really can write a book about how GREAT Mustafa is, however, it would take up too much space. Trust us when we tell you, this tour is worth it. You will NOT be disappointed!!! The driver Joseph was also very professional and a safe driver. When we return to Egypt we will certainly book w/Lets Explore Egypt & Mustafa!

We booked the private half day trip to Giza Pyramids even though we were staying at LeMeridien Pyramids which is within walking distance. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money since it was $70 per person, but I am so happy that we did. Our tour guide, Mimo was top notch. His English was excellent (we understand he speaks many other languages as well). He messaged me via WhatsApp the day prior to our tour to confirm time and place for pickup and arrived about 15 minutes early. We did not know there would also be a driver - Casper was great. He sat with the vehicle while we got out and roamed around. We visited the great pyramid and visited a panoramic area where we saw multiple pyramids and took a camel ride. We loved that Mimo knew the best spots to grab photos and he was happy to take them for us. He provided a lot of insight into how to deal with certain situations that may come up- people offering to take a photo but wanting to get paid, etc. It was great having him as our guide, and he was very personable. We even met his wife (also a tour guide) while we were doing the camel riding. I felt like he was a friend before we left! The tour also takes you to some other stops to shop. I appreciated that Mimo was there as there is a lot of pressure to buy and having him take us to the good spots made things easier for us. We disliked the stop where we were given scents to smell where you could create your own perfume. I left the shop and my husband got very nauseous after. I asked to leave the shop and my request was honored without issue. I would highly recommend this tour- and to follow up to that, we would have missed out on a lot if we had just walked to the pyramids on our own. Photo of us with Mimo. He was the best!

The company representative over the phone, Bassam, was very nice and courteous in accomadating us via phone. He confirmed our booking for eight and allowed us to pay in cash on the day of our trip. We were eight people originally but one of us got sick and couldn't come and they were very understanding and supportive by letting us for 7 instead of the agreed upon 8. Our guide was called Loay Ahmed and our driver was called Gamal. They made our trip so delightful and attended to our every request and made it such an outstanding experience. From the camel rides to the pictures and information, everything was above and beyond. I give them 7/5 stars for their positive and super friendly attitude. Really they made our day such a fun filled and enjoyable day. All of us were very satisfied by the service and more importantly by Loay and Gamal. I would always recommend anyone to go with them. Thank you Let's Explore Egypt for such a great service and THANK YOU Loay and GAMAL for today.

We got to see everything and go in the queen pyramid. Driver Ali Gamal, guide Mohammed Mahamoud and camel expert, Abu Hosha were very polite and considerate. They consistantly made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, they let us customize our times. They gave us space to wander but were always available for information and to take photos for us etc. Went to local shops, saw how to make perfume and papyrus- no pressure to buy but we did buy a lot of the essences because it was really great. Lunch was traditional shawarma from a street stand very good. We had an excellent day. keep in mind ticket to the entrance is not included and is $12usd pp.

We visited the Pyramids around mid October. Our guide Heba was very passionate about Egyptology and told us a lot about the history of the pyramids. She picked us up at the hotel and went with us every day. The cameras ride is amazing and the entire experience is unforgettable. Heba was really patient and took a look of picture, to make sure we had a day to remember.
She also made us feel extremely protected, she was wearing a mask the majority of the time, even outside.

A huge THANK YOU to Meemo at Let’s Explore Egypt for one of the most amazing experience in our lives. He was professional & knowledgeable... we highly recommend his services!

I’ll first start off by saying how much we appreciated Meemo’s promptness when picking us up at our hotel. His demeanor from the onset was very warm and friendly. He made a point to warn us about the vendors, but I think having him there made them not so pushy. When touring the pyramids & Sphinx, Meemo shared enlightening historical accounts about each site. He speaks English very well and is easy to understand and converse with. Meemo was also very patient, allowing us to take as many photos as we wished, and we were able to capture so many beautiful memories.

For lunch I told him about my dietary restrictions and he made sure that the eatery could accommodate — my falafel and fries pita sandwich was one of the best things I ate in Egypt!

We stayed at the Marriott Mena House, which is a short 10 minute walk to the pyramids — we could have easily ventured out on our own. But Meemo helped us maneuver quickly to the sites, our camel rides were already set up for us (a must do!!), and our driver was there immediately to take us to the next destination. Yes, we could have saved some money, but the convenience of having Meemo as our guide was priceless.

This was a dream come true- even amid the coronavirus hysteria.

First off, my suitcase was lost, eating up one full day of my Egypt vacation. However, when I informed the tour guide that was assigned to me, he offered to come to the airport with me and help me track it down. I would not have been able to do this without Waleed.

Waleed and Bebo (the driver) were so accommodating with my detour to the airport and still ensured that I got my money's worth of the trip. True Egyptian hospitality.
The pyramids were spectacular, the camel ride - just the right amount of time, and the company unbeatable.

I definitely recommend the tour for not only the beautiful sites, but also for the kindness, flexibility, and incredible knowledge of the guide and tour company.

Also I am female solo traveler and felt perfectly safe.

This trip was amazing! Our tour guide Nour was perfect! He is very well balanced - knows all the important facts and interesting stories while not bothering you with too much information. He also gives you enough space to enjoy the sights alone, with him keeping an eye on you in case anyone comes and tries to sell you something you really don't need.
The tour really includes everything that is listed: driver, tour guide, lunch (Nour took us to try an amazing koshary), sightseeing of the pyramids and the Sphinx (tickets to enter Giza complex are included), camel ride (25 minutes) with pictures.
As for any extra charge - if you'd like to enter the pyramid, you would have to pay an extra 400 EGP for the biggest one or 100 EGP for the smaller one. And also, the guy handling your camels could ask for a tip.
