My sisters and I experienced a very memorable vacation to Luxor and Aswan. Mr. Ashraf was our tour guide. We were extremely impressed with the exception service and knowledge that he had. Mr. Ashraf was especially attentive to ensure our safety and to handled all our concerns. I was pleasantly surprised at how safe Egypt is. My family and I will definitely be back to Egypt and will be honored if Mr. Ashraf will be able to accompany us again. We wish him well and hope to meet again in the near future.

My husband, my son and I had the immense pleasure and honour of having Dr Ashraf as our Egyptology guide during a 4-day Nile cruise package organized thorough Gat tours. The trip was very well organised and accompanied by a very friendly and knowledge guide mr Ashraf. We sailed with the Concerto2 a relative new very luxury boat with very friendly staff. Very nice cabins. The visits to the various temples on the route were guide by mr Ahraf who not only told many details an interesting facts and guided us to the most interesting spots but also arranged transportation and entry tickets. Perfect we highly recommend mr Ashraf as guide he made our nike cruise really fantastic and unforgettable.

Me and my husband booked a holiday to Egypt with Gat Tours between 01.04.24 and 12.04.24. We visited Cairo first, on 02.04.24, our guide was Amir, who was fantastic and we really recommend him. He was really professional and friendly, and let us visit every site with calm. Also all his explainations were well paced. He has a lot of knowledge and knew everything about Egyptian culture. We had a great time with him at the Pyramids, and he explained many things to us. We also visited Saqqara and Menphis on the same day and, on our last day (11.04.24), he took us to see the Egyptian museum, Coptic Cairo and the Citadel. While visiting the pyramids, he took us to a nice place where we could take great pictures and buy souvenirs. He also took us to a shop where we could buy papyus and in another shop where we could buy some cartouches with our names in hieroglyphics on them. We also appreciated the fact he could speak an excellent Italian (our first language) and communications was so much easier. Then we went for a Nile Cruise between 03.04.24 and 10.04.24. Our guide during these days was Dr Ashraf. He was amazing! We really recommend him. We visited lots of temples: Kom Ombo, Luxor Temple, Karnak, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel and many others. He was always patient with us, let us take many pictures, explained to us lots of things about the places we visited and gave us plenty of information. He is a person with a great culture who has studied the history of Egypt and knows everything. He had been a guide for years. He was also kind and became like a friend, making our holiday fantastic! It was a pleasure to meet him! Our ship was Al Kahila, all the staff there was so kind and friendly! It was such a pleasure to spend 7 nights with so many lovely people! We loved spending time on the deck looking at the landscape, and having a chat with the wonderful people who work on the ship. We will miss them a lot! In general, it was a great experience and all the staff from Gat Tours was amazing! Dina, the tour operator who organised this holiday, was great, kind and always available. We just had an amazing and historic trip in Egypt with our friends for 16 days. From the moment we arrived, to the day we left, we were looked after by GAT Tours. Upon arrival at the airport, the wonderful Mr. Osama picked us up . Mr. Osama was there for us with a smile and important information. No detail was too small, or too big for him not to look after. Cannot begin to tell you how special our dedicated drivers were. Always around the corner. Ready to pick us up within minutes of being texted. Our first day started with Mrs. Manar, with her information and smiles for the whole day. Mrs. Manor explained everything we needed to know about the Giza pyramids and Memphis. Also, a great photographer! So, very special and knowledgeable. When one travels with Gat Tours, one has a qualified Egyptologist with you at all times. Then we were very lucky to get Mr. Sayed as our tour guide for the rest of the trip. I’m sure they’re all very talented and informative, but we felt we had hit the jackpot with Mr. Sayed. We feel that what he knew, resulted in one of the most fabulous historic tours we’ve ever had. Not only do we consider Mr. Sayed a friend, we hope to be lucky enough see him on our next trip. We also want to thank Mr. Sayed for teaching my husband, with all his patience, many details of the hieroglyphics. We chose the tour that involved two days in Cairo, Nile Cruise, many excursions and temples…out of this world! We also had five days at the Red Sea at the Movenpick El Qusir at the end of our tour. Highly recommend the Movenpic Hotel at the end. Beautiful rooms over looking the ocean as well as staff and food were all excellent! Even involved a camel ride! Then it was back to Cairo for two nights to go to one of the most famous museums in the world! Only partially open, but we did get to see the mummies and many authentic statues. Thank you Gat Tours for making our 50th anniversary so special!

Amazing private tour for 2 senior couples. We visited the mosques and pyramids of Cairo - flew to Luxor for a 4 day River Nile cruise visiting the temples of Luxor/Edfu/Aswan and going to a Nubian Village then ending the trip at the Red Sea in Quseir. Fabulous itinerary - incredible Guide & wonderful GAT Representative ensuring all our needs were met. Excellent accommodations right through. GAT is a 5 star Company which we highly recommend. This is our 2nd time and we are still impressed by the quality of their services.

This tour group was excellent, they were incredibly kind and flexible. They would work tirelessly to accommodate all our needs and make changes to our tour to accommodate what we wanted to do. My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Egypt on Nov 29-30, 2023 during a recent cruise around the Mediterranean, and GAT Tours came highly recommended; my parents toured the Pyramids and the Valley of the Kings with them in 2004, and then my sister and brother in-law in 2012 on a Pyramids tour and Nile cruise. Having never been to Egypt, and knowing that a good guide makes all the difference, we gave GAT Tours the go ahead to take us on a whirlwind 2 day, bucket-list private tour. Long story short, we could not have had a better time. Our itinerary included a tour of the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, followed by dinner at a restaurant across from the Great Pyramid. The next day we were given a private tour of the Egyptian Museum by an Egyptologist, and afterwards had an unforgettable experience at the Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque. She was warm, passionate, and a wealth of information; our Egypt adventure would not have been the same without her. And she came to see us off at a tearful farewell in Alexandria despite living in Cairo, 3 hours away. The evening and Pyramids light show was fun thanks to our friendly escort Mr. Ahmed, who also saw us to our room helping us with everything that night including check-in. And we would be remiss not to mention our wonderful driver Mr. Mustafa, who spoke little English but was always cheery and drove us safely to each destination. The positive experiences my family had from GAT Tours since 2004, a span of 19 years, is a testament to this company’s commitment to hospitality.
