          Exreamly good
this was an incredibly good guide, we were a couple from Sweden and because complications due to forgotten cards for payment, so Ahmed (the guide) and the driver (mohammad) were very patient and helpful. I can only recommend. very good, calm people. you see all the sights with peace and quiet. ahmed (the guide) very knowledgeable about egyptian history especially ancient (faros history), he described each place its historical background. we also stopped in several places to shop, which I highly recommend. rate: 10/10.

Huge scam for your money, wouldn’t recommend
My two friends and I paid $185 all together thinking that this absurd amount of money (when converted to EGP) would cover the cost of entrance into the pyramids, and the boat ride, similar to other excursions we have booked on trips previously. However unfortunately we were taken advantage of and we’re severely disappointed. The tour guide and the driver kindly picked us up and took us to the pyramids, they arrived on time and the drive was great. We stopped at a cotton clothing store and a small pyramids museum. Once we got to the pyramids however things took a turn for the worst. We were told we had to pay an additional 350 EGP each in order to enter the pyramids, as well as 80 EGP for the driver to drive his car into the pyramids. Both of these were surprise expenses. When I asked the tour guide why we had to pay additional money to enter the pyramids and what exactly we paid $185 for, she was unable to answer my question, and said the $185 was just for the ride to the pyramids and the information. The advertisement was extremely misleading. As traveling individuals we could have taken an Uber to the pyramids for roughly $5-10 and another $5-10 for the way back and paid for the pyramids once we got there, for the same experience, without paying $185 to hear simple dialect about the pyramids which anyone can find online. Additionally, once we arrived at the pyramids we were pressured by our tour guide and the camel drivers into paying a ridiculous $40 each to ride the camel. I have family members in Egypt who have ridden the camels a few weeks prior to our visit for 200 EGP ($5), a complete and utter disappointment. I really would strongly not recommend to book a tour guide. It was a complete scam for our money and so incredibly disappointed. I feel as though I can’t trust anyone when coming to Egypt due to experiences such as these. I was extremely excited to bring my friends to the pyramids for the first time but unfortunately this experience was disgusting. I would not recommend to anyone, even a stranger.

          Incredible
Amazing experience. Fulfilled a life long dream. My guide, Mina, and driver, Mario, were fantastic. The drive is long, but definitely worth it.

          Amazing
A guide can lead you from point to point but a really good guide like Adel lets you feel the real Egypt up close. An interesting tour to Fayum and its surroundings takes the tourist out of Cairo into the surrounding desert nature. After the official trip we continued together to a visit to a papyrus school and a joint dinner with Adel and his brother where all the barriers fell and we moved into personal paths and true friendship

          Very disappointed
Very disappointed after reading such good reviews. Our tour guide was Yasser and we were treated like children that hadn’t done their homework, rather than adults who had paid for the services of an informative & knowledge guide. Taken to a papyrus shop even though we didn’t want to go & then he couldn’t wait to leave us at the museum, by which point it was a relief to not be talked down to. Please find another guide don’t use this one.

          Have caution
The guide (Abla) was awful. She was rushed and disinterested. She also tried to discourage us from going inside the pyramids (it seemed like she didn't want to wait for us). Abla also tried to make us stop at a shop to buy stuff before the tour had begun, which we obviously refused. (Hesham Tours then lied in their response back to us saying we requested the stop so don't believe everything they say). For the most part they seem like a good company but they need to weed out the bad guides/stop lying in their comments back to customers.

          Waste of money
The worst ever experience I had with guided tour. 1. We were charged for the park tickets, which should be included in the fee we paid, as advertised in the brochure (see below the photo attached). Bottled water were not provided during the trip; 2. We spent extra $75 to hire a tour guide, as the vendor recommended. However, we did not get the services we expected. a. The tour guide rarely interacted with us, and did not proactively explain the places we were visiting. Rather, he spent all the time chatting with the bus driver in a language which we did not understand. b. At the hotel lobby when he picked us up, he told us that there would have intense policing in the area we were heading to, and he told us that we should tell police that we are Singaporeans, and did not say we are Americans. This was the obstruction to the justice as we all know. c. In a number of occasions the tour guide tried to scam money from us. He told us we could take a boat tour for $5 each. I went to boat operator directly asking for the price, and was told it would be 100 Egyptian pounds.given the exchange rate of about 30 Egyptian pounds per US dollar, this guy was charging 200% more for his personal interests. He also tried to lure us to a lunch without telling us the price. After repeated requests he finally said it's $25. Based on our previous experiences with other tours it should not be changed more than $10. I would say the bus driver was professional and we were happy with his service.

This is a very bad experience with the tour guide
We as a team have 6 people booked this private tour to Wadi EI-Rayan national park. However, the experience with the tour guide Hamdy Kamal is horrible. At 9:00am in the morning, the tour guide met us at the lobby of the hotel where we lived in Cairo. He wanted us to pretend to come from Singapore, rather than from the United States when we first met at the lobby. On the way to the destination, a two hour drive, there was almost no interaction between the tour guide and us. The tour guide just talked with the driver and did not even spend a few minutes to tell us anything we saw on the way to and from Faiyum. In the park, the tour guide paid much more attention to prevent us from talking with the local people. When he saw we were talking with a boat operator about the price for boat riding, he immediately approached the operator and tried to sell us a boat ride for 150 Egyptian pound per person which were offered to us by the operator for 50 Egyptian Pound per person. He did not even spend a minute to tell us anything about the Fall and the lake, the oasis. This is the only time I have a tour guide who does not even want to spend a few minutes to talk with clients about the tour, but is more interested in selling clients goods at a higher price. The tour itself we booked is OK, but the tour guide is horrible.

Very bad experience with this tour
We bought this tour with understanding that Wadi El-Rayan national park has beautiful sightseen and nice waterfall. Due to it is a simple sightseeing tour, we can travel there without a guide. However, a day before our tour, the tour operator talked us into buying a guide of $75USD, which is quite expensive for the local standard. The operator promised an "excellent guide you will love." However, on the way to Faiyum, there are many famous sites, including Giza pyramids, and nice cities, the guide made no effort to explain to us, He only pointed out a cemetery and a chimney-like construction, which local raise pigeon for restaurant (purposely). He provided no bottle waters, which are included in tour package. When we arrived to Wadi El-Rayan national park entrance, the guide insisted that we buy entry tickets, which are already included in the tour package. Once we arrived at the site, the first official act of the guide before seeing any thing is to ask us to eat lunch with local delicacy of pigeon, which cause $25USD per person. We started to felt very uncomfortable and refused the offer. At the waterfall, we asked the guide to take a group picture, after he did it, he ask me how much more we should pay him for taking a group picture pretending as a joke. When I answered to him that I will not pay him more, he called the tour operator immediately to remind me to pay him $75USD. Then, the guide tried to sell us a boat ride for 150 Egyptian pound per person. Since we did not trust the guide, we asked the boat operator ourselves the cost of boat ride, which is much cheaper, 50 Egyptian pound per person. At this point, we knew that we did not get a real guide, then we asked him to stay away from us, and we need no guidance from him and we tour the Oasis by ourselves. After merely one hour walking in Oasis, we requested to drive us back to the our hotel in Cairo. Before we leave the Faiyum city, the guide tried his last sale act. He said that he will bring us to a nice local restaurant for launch with local price much better than the touristic price we pay in Cairo hotel. He will not receive a "commission." He gave us 5 minutes to think. We replied that we don't need 5 minutes to think, answer is NO. we rather to pay touristic price in Cairo hotel. On the way back, we have no meaningful interaction with the guide, except we paid him $75USD.

          Nice with children
Our guide was very nice, good driver and helpful. We loved the trip, it was very nice and easy for our small children too. The views of the Oasis and the waterfalls were amazing, we'll never forget it.

5* All day Sahara desert Safari!!!
Our day started from the front door of our hotel, where our tour guide Ahmad picked us up. He was very informative and cooperative. We went directly to Faiyoum were we met our 4x4 driver Mohammed and the adventure started. Mohammed is a very passionate driver and enjoys driving in the dessert and showing us the abilities of his Land Cruiser. We had so much fun!!! He drived us through the desert to Wadi Hitan, the Valley of Whales where we saw in the middle of the desert, fossil of whales about 40 million years old. Then the safari continued through the desert and we had a stop for swimming at the Magic lake and finally we saw the Wadi el Rayan waterfalls, the only waterfalls in Egypt. Our next stop was at Tunis village a picturesque village at the side of the lake Qarun were we had our lunch at Ibis restaurant and cooking school. Perfect recommendation from Ahmad! We had rhe chance to watch the pottery manufacturers and afterwards after a full day Ahmad returned us back to our hotel. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this tour!
