What an amazing time we had with Wael, he is very knowledgable in Egyptology and a very wise person around the city. I have honestly had an amazing time, he has organised everything for us and we have become friends. I can’t recommend him highly enough, five stars is not enough.

wael was our driver, he was amazing, his knowledge of the history was impeccable and we felt so comfortable in his care, he took us round many local restaurants, markets, the pyramids and an egyptian buffet. he was super friendly and welcoming and we both fully enjoyed our time exploring and leaning the history with him. fully recommend if travelling to cairo

I was in Egypt for an organized tour but had one day before as me two days after the tour in Cairo so I hired Yael to be my private guide. He arranged for someone to help me through the airport and then to drive me to the hotel. The next day we did a private tour of the market where he helped me purchase some jewelry plus we toured the citadel and had dinner. After my 8 day tour , he picked me up from the airport and took me to my hotel. Traffic in Cairo is impossible so having someone reliable to do this is essential. On me next 2 days, we saw the museums I hadn’t seen yet plus Yael arranged a private tour in the desert for me to see the whale fossils and go off roaring on the sand. We did a Nike boat cruise one evening as well as a very nice dinner on my last night . Yael arranged for transport back to the airport for me so I was able to head home with less stress. He is knowledgeable and organized. I a country where you don’t speak the language, can’t read the signs, or drive yourself having someone like Yael is the difference in seeing and doing everything that you want versus being trapped in your hotel. We had a fantastic day in Cairo with Dr Wael Magdy. He was the perfect tour guide, knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining about Egypt in the past and present. We just finished our trip booked with autumn tours and MR. Wael Magdy was our guide. To say that we were treated like kings and queens is the least we can say… The attention to detail from hotel rooms, to transportations to excursions and visits were astonishingly organized… We didn’t have to worry about anything and MR. Wael was truly present and attentive to all of our family needs up to the smallest details that we didn’t even ask for. We spent a total of 10 days with him and everyday we were surprised by how well he organized the trips…. After travelling with Atum tours and Wael in April to the pyramids, i had to come again to discover the wonder of Luxor. And I was not disappointed. I was in awe of all that i witnessed. From the balloon ride over the valley of the kings and queens, to the temple of Luxor and the mummification museum. The whole journey was arranged from the airport in Cairo and back again by Atum Tours. Transported to Luxor. My hotel, and all transport to and from the sights. Wael is an excellent guide and certainly knows everything there is to know about the places I visited. He was very courteous. And was always checking if there was anything I needed. Being a solo traveler I felt at ease the whole time and have even booked my next trip through them for 2025. I would highly recommend this company for all your Egyptian travel.

i’ve been to egypt many times but this was our first time visiting the pyramids I can honestly say everything was amazing. The service was 5 star from start to finish, Punctual lovely clean car , lots of knowledge and noting was to much trouble for us We felt extremely safe as we were 2 girls on our own . Dr. Wael is an experienced and knowledgeable guide with deep knowledge in Egypt history. He was very accommodating to our needs and was able to organize for a wonderful 2 days is Cairo. He even helped with snorkeling trip in Hurghada. He is pleasant, precise, and honest. This was my husband’s first time to Egypt, and thanks to Dr. Wael, it was a delightful and unforgettable trip.

My team and I were lucky enough to book a tour with Wael and can't recommend the experience highly enough. He gave us a private tour of the pyramids and sphinx, in which we had plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and take in the wonders. Wael's vast experience and qualifications meant that he was able to give us a good balance of history, speculation, and humour along the way. Oh, and he also turned out to be a great photographer too - taking plenty of shots of each of us, and group shots, along the way!

My day was amazing. I was met at the airport by my guide Wael and the transfer car. We travelled from there and stopped for a drink and food if required. From there we travelled through Cairo to the old city where we stopped and walked through. My guide Wael explained about the history of the city in great depth and what the buildings were and stood for. We were met again by our car on the other side and taken to the Egyptian museum. Here we went through all the different rooms where Wael explained the life and times of the Pharaohs, their queens and families and about the country back then. The burial process and what and why they took with them. He had a great deal of knowledge about the subject which came across in a way I understood and he answered all the questions I had with curtesy. From the museum we went for a boat trip on the Nile and once again Wael pointed out the landmarks along the way as we enjoyed the view. We stopped for lunch in a local restaurant where the food was delicious. Then it was on to Giza and the pyramids and sphinx. Wael once again gave an insightful and informative description of the ancient pyramids and of the sphinx and allowed me time to ponder and take photos. I had the most amazing day. My guide Wael and driver couldn’t have been more helpful. We had cold drinks in the car if required. And charging facilities for phones for those pictures. As a company I couldn’t recommend anyone more. From the time I was met at the airport to the minute i was dropped off they couldn’t do enough for me and treated me more like family. And as a solo traveler I felt very comfortable and not all worried. Will definitely be travelling with them again.

Luxor with Tito Dr. Wael “Tito” Magdy, egyptologist and licensed tour guide, of Atum Tours Egypt, was our private tour guide for our travel from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan and back, end August to mid-September 2023. He accompanied us as our private guide during the entire travel, arranged the flights from Cairo to Luxor and back, hotels and road transport as needed, and a Nile boat cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Further, he contracted a special service for facilitating arrival and departure formalities at Cairo International Airport. During our visits to numerous archaeological sites from Luxor to Aswan, Tito demonstrated his vast knowledge of Egyptian ancient history, mythology and ongoing research into Egypt’s distant past. He also gave us much insight into Egyptian life of today. With Tito, who has an engaging personality and fluency in English, apart from a few other languages, our travel to Egypt became much more than a standard visit to the country. Hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport. This was a sponsored stay by Egypt Air. Check in experience very average. If you order anything extra like water bottles or dental kit they will charge 1$ every time. Be aware of the tourist agency at the reception. Best is to take a reputable bus ride when visiting Pyramids. Pyramids are a very touristic location so be aware of rip offs.

As a family of six (4 teenage boys), we wanted to privately organize a trip to Egypt. We gave Tito, our guide, specific places we wanted to visit. We wanted to visit Cairo-Luxor-Hurghada in 12 days. He organized all the hotels (5 stars), our private minivan, tickets, airplane tickets, and programs for a reasonable price. The programs were dynamic, yet Tito was flexible, if we asked for a change.
