- davidmP4701XO00Cairo TourI had an excellent experience with Mostafa my tour guide and his driver. Mostafa was quite insightful about what was on the tour and shared fun, personal stories regarding the monuments. I would highly recommend!
- danimale00An eventful day in EgyptOur guide was welcoming and friendly at first then he took us to his friend's store's to hustle us,then he offered us breakfast said we were his guests and he is supposed to cater to us,few hours later he had changed demanding money from us and was very rude about it,we paid for the breakfast, then he took us to rude camels and said we should tip the Sheppard's but my understanding was that the ride was part of the package. Overall got to ride the camels, see the pyramids and the sphinx..
- bobjH9102KM00A launchpad for the Egyptian experience.Cario, with a city of a population of at least 25m, being dropped in downtown can be rather overwhelming. Although it is a very safe city both during day and night time, it’s easy to get lost in the many different areas. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide and driver (Siad and Ayman) , being launched immediately in a full Cario experience. We were lucky with the season, not being busy this year and had great access to all the big sights one wants to check off. The tour guide and the driver were knowledgeable as well as had a good sense of humour and had access to areas that you wouldn’t be able to get to without them. We were able to get extremely close to some of the great sights such as the pyramids and sphinx as well as getting an inside look in how people live in this city. The tour itself was flexible and the tour guides adjusted the itinerary based on the traffic and unexpected events such as the light show being cancelled. We had a really good time overall and laughed a lot. The food was great and everything was well. One thing that some people may be put off by is that the tour involves going to shops and places that expect you to buy something but it is completely up to you. It is important for the guides to give back to the Egyptian people. They were also very thoughtful and helped us plan the rest of our trip by giving suggestions. The finish the review, see this tour as more of an introduction to Egypt and check off the big ones before continuing your travel down south; don’t expect detailed archeological insights but more of a launchpad into the Egyptian experience!
- M2936IVnikhilk00Amazing tour, totally worth it and more!Amazing tour and more that what we expected. Ahmed and Ezzat were absolutely amazing! They were informative and very polite and showed us a great taste of Cairo in one day
- OShoeDiva00Wonderful tour for the familyWe had an amazing time seeing all of the sights. Seeing the pyramids and riding the camels were the highlights. I highly recommend this tour.
- Stay2976755319200Giza PyramidsI think this is one of the best tours we have been on. I have taken tours before which end up being the guide talking and not enjoying the tour. The tour was very free and easy. I loved the well planned locations and enough time at each. Ahmad was very knowledgeable and excellent photographer. I was fearful since reviews of Giza are bad usually, but I had one of the best experiences.
- Muhammad B00Egyptian pyramids and museumI really enjoyed my tour of the pyramids, sphinx, and museum. My tour guide and driver were both very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this tour to others.
- ms_checkin00Not worth itBasically can do it on your own, taking Uber to the site as I do not understand the guide at times as the local accent was abit harder for me (could be just me) and the history being shared are basic straight out from wiki. The guide did offer to take photos but was not great lol, pyramid being cut off or not in focus. Camel ride was not 30 mins, more like 15 mins max! Lunch was bad and they tried to bring me to souvenir store and I firmly declined. The guide didn’t walk much with me once we were at the pyramid compound, and i spent less than an hour at each pyramid and sphinx, all in all the tour concluded less than 5 hours (including travel time) though it advertised for 8 hours. Do note that it doesn’t not include admission to go into the pyramid (though it stated admission to each pyramid) but in actual fact admission into the pyramid compound to see each pyramid. When I was walking on my own around the compound, there were some locals approaching to sell stuff or help to take photo but simply left me alone when I told them “no”. So my initial thought to get a guide was to avoid all these as I am a solo female traveller but ended up I am doing it myself anyway. So save yourself some money & diy, it’s not dangerous at all.
- Getaway54376800Amazing day trip filled with experienced and informationAbsolutely amazing tour - great service and we all learned so much and can’t wait to come back and explore more! We had an amazing guide Gamal was everything and more we could wish for! His knowledge was second to none and he explained and showed all of the family a piece of history we all are more exited about when we left the tour! Everyone from the family would like to come back soon! Thanks so much for having us ❤️❤️❤️ can’t recommend enough! We only came for a day trip and pickup and drop off from airport we let smooth without any issue and would totally recommend
- hasanm96000Amazing tripDefinitely reccomend this trip, our tour guide was Ahmed Gaber and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was very helpful and gave us lots of information and his english was very good. Our driver hassan was also very good, he was a good driver and very reliable. The food was nice, we had kofta and chicken with rice and chips. (Tips are expected for Camel ride and driver) We got to see the 3 main pyrmadis went inside the free one which was the small one and got told they are all the same on the inside
- Louis-henry D00Dishonest tour companyDishonest, our hotel was in the list for pickup but we had to pay 30$ extra because our hotel “was far from sites for visit”
- Fazal R00Wonderful experienceOur guide Ahmed Gaber was excellent. He had a great command on the subject and explained various aspects of Egyptian history with great detail. He answered all the countless questions, we kept asking throughout, with patience and a smiling face. His photographic skills are second to none. Will highly recommend him.
- laisenian202300Wonderful ExperienceThe tour was amazing.. We had a wonderful guide -Mostafa Ortega. We went to the Pyramids, was told a brief background history about the History of Egypt and the different dynasties in which they built the Pyramids. The whole tour was lovely and it ended with a lovely lunch..
- G3780KBandr_g00Review of the TourNice tour guides, they explain the history of the monuments and also the tradicions of egypcian people. If anything we need they try help us. However, we didin´t like to visit some shops, because, they were creating the need to buy something. Also in egypcian culture given tips is something almost obrigatory even if you pay the service. which it is common in our culture. Overall, we recommend this tour.
- F7029PQchrisa00Day layover exploringVery friendly and knowledgeable about egypt. I was well looked after and taken care of. Got to experience egypt through the eyes of locals.

We went on this tour as a way to quickly see multiple places in and around Cairo. Our guide Aziza was quite friendly but not particularly knowledgeable. She was not an Egyptologist, but a tour guide.
Aziza is also a big fan of stopping for Instagram-worthy pictures, despite us having told her this was of no importance to us, and that we'd rather move on to keep the pace.
The timing and program that are written down on this page are very inaccurate. Due to a number of stops that were not on the itinerary (papyrus museum, oil museum) about 2 hours were wasted. In addition, we had to wait for Aziza to finish smoking before we could continue on multiple occasions.
As a result, we had to rush through the far more important sights, including the pyramids in Giza. We didn't visit the great pyramid inside as we were told we had only a little amount of time left, and the ticket was extra and not included in the tour, although this page states differently.
This was very disappointing, especially as we had explicitly told the company that the main reason for the tour was to see the great pyramids in-depth. The Sphinx were covered in a mere 15 min, and all in all we had about an hour at the Giza pyramids. We didn't see the museum at all and the camel ride was only 10 minutes. Lastly, we had to pay for our own lunch. This made it all made it feel very rushed and really ruined the experience, especially since we paid 60$ for the tour rather than the listed price of 45$.
Our driver was very kind and professional and the camel ride was a nice touch. It was a shame this trend wasn't carried through to the rest of the tour.

My wife and I traveled to Egypt for the first time, not knowing what to expect. We were blessed to have been assigned Mazen, who felt like a guardian angel throughout our travels. He made us feel extremely safe with his knowledge and expertise of navigating the Egyptian tourist scene. Kapoo, our driver, picked us up from our hotel and exercised a much needed driving prowess to safely navigate us throughout Egypt. Mazen provided a wealth of knowledge about Egyptian history, culture, and politics. He was able to satisfy every inquiry I had, regardless of the subject matter. He also allowed us to indulge in the best local eateries around town, giving us the pleasure of enjoying authentic cuisine. Mazen's jovial personality kept us pleasantly entertained throughout the experience. You will quickly find that Mazen is well known throughout the community which allowed him to bypass checkpoints, and long lines. He got us access to several "behind the scenes" attractions which further showed his value. We enjoyed our initial tour with Mazen so much that we booked all of our tours through him; a total of three days. We usually explore on our own when we travel, but I highly recommend using tour guides while in Egypt. You will have a better, seamless experience.

Excellent 2-day tour with both our guide Bebo and our driver Mr Said. All visits of Cairo key sites were amazing and highly insightful thanks to our guide but the best was we really felt welcome, safe and really taken care of. Bebo made sure we kept hydrated, took time to take superb photos of us, had amazing attentions (coffees, biscuits). We felt very safe at all time and Bebo also helped us choose good quality souvenirs at the right price in Cairo. Food arrangements were rightly timed and on point. The driver was also very professional, on time and we enjoyed the air-conditioned private car in between the visits. Both the guide and driver spoke excellent English, were very respectful giving us enough personal space and were very engaging with authentic and fruitful conversations.
This is a truly memorable experience and we highly recommend it.

Our Guide, Ahmed Mohammed and our Driver, Abdul Budi (spelling) were simply outstanding. Negotiating the streets of Cairo and Giza are not for the faint of heart. Abdul made the journey quite comfortably, giving us the opportunity to really enjoy the ride, the sights, and soul of the cities. He gave us incomparable, first-class service,
Our Guide, Ahmed, is a walking encyclopedia (for those who recall what that is) of Egyptian history. We received an excellent tour of the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, and Saqqara, and received in-depth, context filled explanations of the history of the structures, artifacts, and timelines. He answered all our questions with ease and provided relatable anecdotes to help us understand.
Ahmed and Abdul work very well together. Not only did they ensure our comfort, but also shielded us from overly aggressive merchants. They introduced us to the Egyptian culture in ways no text book or search engine ever could.
As for the tour, you'll get much more than you bargained for. We never felt rushed or deprived of any aspect or feature of the tour. We were given all the time we needed to explore. Any question we had was asked without hesitation, and we never had to walk far or wait for our transportation. Abdul was there.
I only recommend you get plenty of rest the day before, as you're going to be quite busy and you need to be attentive. Wear comfortable clothing and eye wear. And, enjoy yourself.

Tour Guide Mohamed Mahmoud took care of us and negotiated to get us in to additional places that we wanted to see. He was professional and made sure we had the best possible experience, all while making sure we hit all of the best photo ops. We would highly recommend for any of the many tours they offer and if you want a knowledgeable and friendly guide, ask for Mohamed Mahmoud!

We booked the private all-inclusive tour to the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara topped off with a camel ride. I am confident that we got THE BEST tour guide and driver out there!! Our tour guide was Wael Abdallah and our driver was Hassan. Hassan knew how to navigate through the crazy Cairo traffic and even got us in the VIP entrances of some of the more crowded attractions which saved us time to do more throughout the day! Wael was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Egyptian history, it almost made me just as excited (it's hard to match his level of passion). He structured out tour in chronological order so that we could experience the sights as he shared the historical background and stories. We told Wael what our main goals were for the day (including what we were most excited about seeing, as well as the things we could skip or spend limited time in -- and he tailored our itinerary and delivered well above our expectations! Egypt is by far one of my most memorable trips and Wael was a big part of that. Request him by name if you can!

There are so many positive aspects to relate about our guide Mohammed Mahmoud and drive Amir for this tour, it's wonderful to be able to share: From picking us up ~exactly~ on time to the description of what we could expect from the day and fulfilling every single item on the itinerary and more - to the amazing knowledge of our guide and the deep respect we have for our driver Amir who kept us safe in Cairo rush hour traffic... we feel fortunate that this was the team that took us out for the day.
We are going to request Amir and Mohammed for our next tour as well. Many thanks to the both of the of them for an extraordinary day.

This was my first trip to Egypt and I was in awe of the ancient pyramids as I walked along the same paths as the Egyptian Kings and Queens and marveled at the sheer workmanship it took to build them. My guide, Mohamed Mahmoud was so insightful, professional, punctual, a respectful gentlemen and sprinkled in some light humor. He tailors his pace and knowledge according to you and then added in a couple of stops as time permitted - what an extra treat! He was also great at keeping some of the vendors from hassling too much and informed me in advance how to deal with them. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Mohamed Mahmoud to anyone! Don’t miss this tour and guide!

I would like to start with Sam our personal tour guide for the whole duration. Sam was AWESOME and very attentive to our needs. We had people in our group that were sick and Sam was willing to stop at a pharmacy to buy medicine upon our request. Luckily, Sam had some medicine with him and there was no need for it. Also, in our group we had someone who wasn’t able to walk well due to a knee injury and Sam made sure throughout the whole time she was enjoying the tour. Sam is very knowledgeable in Egyptian history and you can ask him anything. We are very lucky to have Sam as our tour guide he is Egyptian and helped out when buying souvenirs from the locals. Overall, the locations visited in this 1 day tour was worth every penny we were only in Egypt for 1 full day and this tour helped out with covering the major landmarks. Lastly, Sam gave us an option to either have chicken or beef for lunch. We selected chicken and Sam took us to a very very good local Egyptian restaurant. I highly recommend this tour and if you can select a tour guide please make sure to request Sam.

What model/kind of car they will pick & drop us to? Also, what is the restaurant for lunch?

I can't remember the make of the car hut it was a newish comfortable sedan with good air-conditioning. The restaurant was one of the better ones. Nice little taste testing of different food and then a main. The worst was in Luxor. Say mo to that one.

You might be able to EFT cash for payment of the trip so definitely contact the travel company - that’s what we did. If you stay at a good hotel they will usually have an ATM if your guide will show you working ATMs. Enjoy!

Is there an age or weight requirement for camel-back riding?
chrisfromthecape
West Yarmouth, MA205 contributions
If you can mount a horse, you’ll be fine as the camels wear a saddle. The guide will instruct you as to when to move forward and back as the camel stands up and vice versa. I can’t recall where I saw the advisory, but it did state the weight limit was 250 pounds for the camels sake ❤️

Hello, a few questions
1. I have a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 kids(6-15).
May I have the price for our group?
2. How many people is this group?
3. Any clothes requirements?
Emerald
19 contributions
The price depends on the size of the group. For larger numbers, the price per person goes down. Two adults and three children is very doable for this tour.
As far as clothing, modesty is always appreciated in Egypt. That does double duty by protecting you from the sun. As this is a full day tour, you will be starting in the early morning when it can be quite cool, so you will want a sweater or jacket that you can remove when the temperature rises. Sturdy footwear is a must as much of the walking will be over uneven surfaces.
Hope this helps.
Hi, is it a Quad Bike Ride included in the tour (if it's not is there an option to arrange it)?

No,
You need to check with them,
We went in a group of 5 people for quad bike. For 2 of the quad bikes the workers sat in front of the grill so couldn't do much manoeuvre on the bikes nor enjoy the view. Was this the same for others? Otherwise everything else was great

Yes. You will need cash to be safe (the credit card machine was broken when we went which caused problems). 440EGP for adults and if you have kids that have student IDs they get in for half off (220EGP)
