- JustinD17700 contributionsAmazing trip on a Fellouque, with a fantastic crew!We had the best experience we could from Aswan to Louxor. Especially on the Fellouque with Walid and Ahmed, who are so kind and helpful. Ahmed is an amazing chef, he made one of the best meal we had in Egypt! If you look for a tipical experience here, that's the one! Also the guides in the temple were good and interesting. Montasser the manager is a fantastic person to exchange with, he was very arranging. Thanks again for all!!!Written 12 February 2025

- F790RVannep0 contributionsAn Experience To RememberWe just completed our independently planned 9 day tour of Egypt. We could not have had anything go smoother, have seen as many sights, or learned as much about ancient Egypt without the help of Montasser at Kemet Travel and his professional guides and drivers. We were assisted with transportation to and from Abu Simbel, a long drive which flew past with kind and friendly guide, Basma and driver, Hani. Our felucca ride was definitely worthwhile as we relaxed and were catered to by Moed and Mahmoud. Montasser coordinated all transportation between sites including overnight stays, always accommodating our budget. We were able to see the Valley of the Kings, (also from above on our hot air balloon), Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, and were welcomed and entertained at the home of our driver, Ahmed. We ended our trip with a day in Alexandria and another in Port Said at the Suez Canal where we were spoiled again by our guide Mona and driver Sopheap. Thank you to Montasser and all your staff.Written 24 January 2025
- davidbY8068EV0 contributionsExcellent family tour of EgyptWe are a family of six being guided by Kenmet Travel Team for a 13 days private tour of Cairo, Giza, Aswan, Luxor, Abu Simbel, Hurghada, White & Black Deserts, cruise for two nights on Nile and more. It was an incredible experience for our family seeing so much history yet combined with relaxing experiences on ship and at resort in Hurghada. It was a perfect combination for our teenage and young adult children. The culture of Egypt of expecting tips wherever we go is not possible to change and hence we just accepted it otherwise it can be annoying. Also there is no consideration for non smokers at most spaces so it is hard if you have kids with lung problems. Allergies for food were accommodated but can be scary at times. The safest was on the ship on the Nile. Overall we would use Kenmet Team again for their expertise.Written 12 January 2025
- AlinaM23210 contributionsBeautiful unforgettable trip!It has been such a wonderful and truly unforgettable trip, I loved every moment! My guide Ali has been very nice and so helpful, he told me many interesting facts about Egypt and the monasteries during our trip. I really enjoyed visiting both monasteries and speaking with the monks there. The most unforgettable experience was going up to the mountains to visit St. Anthony's cave. Its energy and my experience there will always stay with me. I really hope to visit it again! I would also like to thank Ali for his kind help with my bank card. When we stopped at the petrol station in Cairo in the morning, I wanted to withdraw some cash, but the ATM consumed my bank card and we could not get it back... Ali has been exceptionally helpful with this and got out of his way to sort it out. Very grateful to Ali and Kemet Travel for this beautiful trip and would very highly recommend it! 💛Written 11 January 2025
- Ananda S0 contributionsVery good travel agencyKemet Travel created a custom itinerary for us to authentically travel up the Nile for 3 days and 2 nights by felucca with Captain Tarik instead of the crowded Nile Cruise boats or loud Dahabiya boats. They provided us with a very knowledgeable guide, Ali, to visit the many temples along the way. Their pricing was reasonable, and their communication was prompt and professional.Written 3 January 2025
- wellnessMD20170 contributionsCustomized tours expertly designed by Kemet Travel Egypt.Kemet Travel and Mr. Montasser Simman were my consultants for two visits I needed to do privately while taking a break from my group tour. My day tour was organized expertly by Montasser and my guide was Ali Tantawi and my driver was Milad. Ali was a superb guide with wonderful insights into the sights visited (Holy Family Church, Sycamore Tree, Saladdin Citadel, Alabaster Mosque, Heliopolis Obelisk park and surrounding areas). We also enjoyed a separate visit to the Light and Sound Show at Giza with Mona as our guide. All experiences were reasonably priced. Montasser himself came to meet me at my pick up point to introduced guides. I highly recommend Kemet Travel for your customized travel needs!Written 25 November 2024

- Q9982GLmariof0 contributionsGreat Tour CompanyGREAT EXPERIENCE. Kemet Travel where always in contact with us through whatsApp and from the beginning when we made the inquiry, their response through their representatives was always swift and helpful. The tour leader, Saleh, was a great guy (now a great friend :-) ), who was with us also for our 3-day felucca trip which we did with the same company). The information he constantly provided was eye-opening, and him reading the hieroglyphs and explaining them was nothing short of amazing for us. With him was the taxi driver (apologies, I forgot the name now), but he was always waiting for us wherever we stopped, polite and friendly as well. Definitely worth it, and would book again with them in futureWritten 4 November 2024
- juliegJ8620YX0 contributionsMemorable daysMemorable! we spent 3 days with our guide Mr. Saleh on a feluca cruise and finished by a day tour of luxor. It really was the best part of our trip. Experienced tour guide, open to chat with, flexible. Thank you so much for this amazing experience on the Nile and in luxor. I recommend them 100%. We won't remember those lovely days.Written 3 November 2024
- Excursion033141628500 contributionsAn experience not to be missedKemet travel was a surprisingly positive experience when chosen for the two day trip to Mount Sinai and the Monastery of Saint Catherine. Constantly in contact and from the time of the pick up the two drivers Tony and Milet made sure that the client just relaxes and enjoys. The overnight at a Bedouin Camp in Saint Catherine was positive with basic but clean accomodation and delicious dinner and breakfast while the staff was welcoming with a smile and helpful. As for the guide Ahmed accompanying to the top of the mountain for the sunrise it was constantly worrying so everything would go smoothly and gave interesting information along the hiking. Surely reccomended. With regards, Alexandros fromWritten 12 October 2024
- 571inuj0 contributionsAmazing!!!We had the most amazing time with our driver Mustafah. The journey was so well planned and thoughtful, every single stop was being beautiful and we really felt it was customized just for us. The food was delicious, the stars were dazzling and the desert was beautiful. Would definitely do this trip again.Written 17 September 2024
- 34yaram0 contributionsGreat experience and personal consultation from NadineMy husband and I did a 5-day Dahabiya cruise and four excursions with Kemet Travel and it was a great experience! Nadine was amazing—she stayed in touch the whole time and made sure everything was super organized. The cruise was beautiful and relaxing, the excursions were really well-planned and interesting. Everything was fairly priced as far as we can tell. Would definitely recommend Kemet Travel to anyone looking for an awesome experience!Written 17 September 2024
- 47a20190 contributionsFantastic dayI booked this tour through kemet travel under the leadership of Mr Simman, he was so very prompt to answer all my questions and I felt was extremely kind with his concern for my excursion from cairo to the monastery. I was picked up on time by Andrew, who was my guide for the day. The ride takes about 3 hrs, so they arrived around 730am. The first stop is the staircase up to St. Anthony Cave, where he resided,1700 yrs ago, note, lt this is the oldest monastery in the world. The hike takes about 90 min total up and down. It's very hot , you definitely need water and a hat.theres a church on the way up. A monk is in the cave if you want to pray or give a donation. The highlight is the monastery itself. You are given a tour by the actual monks who live there. They were so peaceful(because of whom we serve, The Lord Jesus). They gave so much history of the place. Andrew, my guide, gave extra information. The monastery is a site to see. The 2nd stop was st Paul of thebes monastery. There were more tourists here but it is just nice. I highly recommend this tour, I had an extra day in cairo and booked this tour. You will arrive back at cairo around 6-7, and you are fed a delicious lunch. This was one of the highlights of my 12 day vacation in 🇪🇬 Egypt . I wanted to mention it is safe to travel here and all over Egypt relating to the war with gaza, if that is a concern for you. You also get views of the Red sea Thank you Mr simman and Andrew for an amazing trip to the monasteries. Book with Kemet travel, you will not regret it.Written 16 September 2024

Our guide, Khaled, and driver, Ameer, picked up me and my wife from our hotel in Giza to begin our journey to Mount Sinai. We travelled in a comfortable late model Toyota travel van, stopping along the way at rest stops to buy snacks and drinks. Khaled was an excellent, warm and friendly guide, with great passion for Egypt. We enjoyed our time speaking with him. Upon arrival at the Morganland hotel in St. Catherine we were taken to our room and served dinner. Very early the next morning we begin our ascent to Mount Sinai, which was surprisingly difficult, but absolutely stunning. After the climb, my wife and I were quite tired and requested to return to Cairo as quickly as possible. Our hosts obliged.
Our travel and accommodation was smooth and comfortable. Definitely catered towards westerners. We enjoyed very much and appreciate the warm reception.
