Ship to Orange bay was excellent, very good snorkeling opportunities. Food on the ship very tasty and good entertainment personnel. Company manager very helpful in different situations when we needed his help. Price way lower than the one practiced by other travel companies within the hotel. Fully recommend.

I went on a half day snorkling trip. I was promised 1,5 hours of snorkling. However the first message I got after we left harbor was that we couldnt go because of the harbor police had closed the area. The trip ended ok due to the a great view from the glass bottom in the boat. The food was ok and we went snorkling at a sunken boat but it wasnt a coral reef snorkling as promised.

I think its only fair to inform people what to expect while roofroot failed to communicate, about the Quad biking experience which resulted in my wife to have a bad accident by coming off the Quad bike at speed on a terrain which is not safe without body protection or a padded jacket. The Quad bikes are capable of doing around 40mph, and with only a helmet provided. Roofroot didnt tell us that the 25KM we will travel will be very very bumpy, rocky and since you are not strapped in the likelihood of you flying off your bike is pretty high, and if you are not lucky like my wife was if you hit one of the rocks you may have a catastrophic end. The guides assisting the group were young teenage boys and under these circumstances they were clueless when my wife fell. Instead they were provoking my wife to drive at a higher speed putting her under pressure. My advice is to avoid Quad biking with this company.

It was amazing traveling with Roof Roots. We got to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Nile River short cruise, and the Museum. Great hospitality of Gamal and the team! Some of the friendliest people we met in Egypt!

Chiar am fost norocosi sa dam peste agentia asta si mai ales sa ne cunoastem cu Gamal, patronul ei. Un tip inteligent ,parolist, dispus sa te ajute in orice probleme, cu sfaturi foarte pertinente, fara a fi nici o clipa prea insistent asa cum adesea patesti in Egipt. Noi am luat de la Gamal Safari varianta extinsa, excursia la Orange Bay+snorkeling si excursia la Luxor. Am avut amici care au mers prin agentia tour operatorului si , la pret dublu, nu a fost nici o diferenta. Acum, ca sa fim fair-play standardul egiptean in materie de organizare a unei excursii este altul decat cel cu care ai fi obisnuit in Europa dar categoric de la Roof Root gasesti aproape maximul din ceea ce poate fi gasit pe piata locala a excursiilor. Daca ar fi sa ma mai duc odata, as lua Luxor , evenutal Safari iar in loc de Orange Bay as lua una sau chiar doua excursii doar pentru snorkel. Coralii Marii Rosii sunt superbi! Si categoric le-as lua de la Gamal. Salutari, prietene! We really were lucky to find this travel agency and especially to meet its owner, Gamal. A very inteligent, trustworthy guy, ready any moment to help you in any problem, with no moment being too pushy as it often happens with most egiptian commerciants. We booked from Gamal the extended desert trip, the Orange Bay+snorkeling trip and the Luxor trip. We had friends that took theese trips through the touroperator in the hotel, at double the price and absolutely the same services. Just for the sake of fair-play, the standards in organising a trip are not the ones you may be used in Europe but at Roof Root you can find almost the best one can get on the locat market. If I would have to choose now, I would take the Luxor trip, maybe the desert one and instead of Orange Bay I would take one or even two snorkeling trips as the coral in the Red Sea is fantastic. And I would definitely book them from Gamal. Best regards, my friend!
