About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sara C0 contributionsMummies, Muslims and Markets - Magnificent! With KhalifaFull day of touring starting with the sparkling Egyptian Museum of Civilization. Interesting complex with fascinating exhibits tracing the many varied cultures through the history of Egypt. The mummies were a highlight. Not for the faint of heart or week of stomach, but interesting. Then on to the Museum of Islamic Art. Great. We also visited highlights of Islamic Cairo - two interesting mosques. One for the call to prayer. So fascinating. Finally, a quick run through the Khan el Khallili Market. Colorful. Thanks to our friendly and informative guide Mahmoud/Khalefa and our nerves of steel driver Mohammed.Written 3 December 2024
- 2010newlyretired0 contributionsNational Museum of Egyptian Civilization with Egypt Royal ToursWe scheduled this tour with Egypt Royal Tours for the day we flew into Cairo at 5:30 am. We wanted a relatively short tour to push through the jetlag and this fit the bill. The museum was a bit crowded, as Fridays are a weekend day for Muslims (who knew?), but nonetheless very interesting. The royal mummy display was amazing. After visiting the museum, we were taken to a papyrus store and essential oil store, which we never really asked for. Our group of four bought nothing and we asked to be returned to our hotel. I felt safe with Egypt Royal Tours staff and am happy that we took the tour. It was reasonably priced.Written 3 December 2024
- Leanimal430 contributionsDelicious Food, Nice AC Van, Friendly Guide!Delicious local food, friendly and knowledgeable guide, Mohammad Boogie, Driver Aemn, and even photographer Abdul! Had the best Falafel, loved learning about other Egyptian food! We got to pick 2 “side quest” - we choose the spices and oils, where we learned a lot about both! Got some rare blue lotus to make some tea of! Looking forward to trying that! Also had camel for the 1st time! Quite the experience. Be sure to not plan anything promptly after your tour. 1.) It might be longer b/c of traffic, etc. and 2.) You will be full and might need to take a nap after! LolWritten 23 November 2024
- H6985WJlorraineb0 contributionsGood food, good companyMuhammad, Iman and Abdul were amazing. Muhammad was very knowledgeable about history and food. The guys were fun to spend the day with and I don’t think I’ll be eating for a few days. I feel much more comfortable in the city after this tour and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about the culture and people.Written 23 November 2024

Sugar Queen and her driver showed us around town and the best food in town, all with friendly positive energy. She’s knowledgeable and lots of fun. We really enjoyed the hospitality of all the people we interacted with. Great experience for first timer like us. The rooftop restaurant (Hayat) at the end of the tour has a killer view of the pyramids and sphinx and wonderful grilled meat. Great way to end the day. Highly recommended.Written 9 November 2024

- tatianakH5247EI0 contributionsGiza pyramids tourAn excellent tour of pyramids with Muhammad, our favourite guide, whom we purportedly picked because of his mind blowing knowledge of history, his friendliness and charisma and reliability. We've learned so so much about Egyptian history, it was an unforgettable day. Muhammad and his driver Haitham are really great team. We opted not to ride the camels, so we're only reviewing Royal Egypt tours, our guide and his driver and of course the attraction: Pyramids. We strongly recommend booking this company and particularly this team 👍 👏 👌Written 5 November 2024
- tatianakH5247EI0 contributionsMagnificent, absolutely loved itOur tour guide - Muhammad with driver Haitham. Muhammad is very knowledgeable egyptologist, very well presented and his english is great. My husband and I 've learned a lot of very interesting facts about so very valuable history of Egypt going back to as far as first century. We saw amazing Cave Church of St. Simon and old Coptic Cairo, which was excellent with every bit of intriguing detail and very old artefacts from history available to see and soak in the atmosphere. The tour finished with tasty lunch of fresh local cuisine. The driver Haitham was polite, the car was clean and air-conditioned, his driving safe. We strongly recommend Egypt Royal Tours and if you will be lucky to have Muhammad as your tour guide, you won't regret your booking. Very valuable tour, worth every penny. Thank you guys. If we go to Egypt again, we are booking Muhammad!Written 1 November 2024

Amazing day in Alexandria. Our driver Mohamed safely got us to and from our hotel in Cairo. He was an excellent travel companion with my wife and I. We picked up Ayman, our local guide. Ayman was that perfect guide you hope you would get knowledgable, thoughtful of us, answered all our questions, great sense of humor, and deftly worked us around crowds to get private moments. Saw the catacombs, Pompey’s tower, the citadel and had a great lunch at the Fresh Fish market overlooking the historic harbor. A perfect 10 day.

Boogie is the best guide ever and you’d be able to agree with me when you listen to him talk about the historical facts of the places he has taken me to! The passion, the knowledge! Man, how does he remember dates? How can he not get them mixed up? Finding out that the Qaiet Bay Castle was built over one of the seven wonders of the world - The Alexandria Lighthouse, was mind blowing! The Catacombs of El Shoqafa was unreal!

Mishu and Habib took me from Cairo to Alexandria. We had a lovely drive, and Mishu showed me all the best places in Alexandria, both for photos and for cultural history. We finished the day with a delicious meal at a local seafood spot, and then drove back to Cairo as the sun went down. It was absolutely unforgettable! Ask for Mishu and Habib if you want two super-fun and super great tour guides!

We truly enjoyed the tour with Hala. I'm glad we booked this tour otherwise if we had to do it by ourselves, we would've had annoyed by those guys that are standing by the pyramids and that aren't legitimate tour guide. We noticed it around while we're wandering around, a guy he was probably tryin to sell something to this tourist and is been following the tourist the whole time and our tour guide Hala had to tell the guy off to leave the tourist alone. So we continued adter Hala explained all about the Pyramids we took photos I would've stayed there for a while but we had to go somewhere else. Part of the tour is to go places who makes oil perfume, jewelries, carpets and feel obliged to buy them I would've skipped them instead and spend more time at the pyramids but it's good in way we get to see around the city there infrastructure, buildings and the way people going on with thier own lives.Hala took us to few of the restaurants and I must say I enjoyed the Egyptian food it was delicious. The Red Sea was ok. When I read about it when I was little I see pictures of red sea as just a river itself, tranquil you hear nothing but just water flowing but it's not of course it's surrounded by buildings now 😄 but apart from that we ebjoyed it with a bottle of Moet since it that day was me and my husbands 18 anniversary and so happy to celebrate it there with my kids. It was fun it made our days short I mean time fly so fast when you're having fun! Overall Hala made this tour enjoyable and we will have great memories to remember. We're amazed with the whole experience. From Ayles family Thank you Hala 😘

we did this amazing tour of Alexandria with our guide Muhammad he was fantastic and full of knowledge. We started our day at 7 am where he met us in the hotel lobby. His driver Muhammad carefully drove us to Alexandria city its a 2.5 hr drive each way. First we did the Greek city tour portion ( 1.catacombs of kom el shoqafa, 2. pompey's pillar, 3. castle of qauit bay )
Then
4. Mosque of Abu El Abass Al-Morsi ( I was not allowed in as a women but my spouse did)
5. A wonderful lunch at local restaurant.
6. Library of Alexandria but only took photos because it closed Fridays and Saturdays.
then we drove the 2.5 hours back to Cairo. We were back to our hotel by 3pm. It was a nice quick getaways from cairo/giza area. The water by Alexandria is crystal blue and we stopped at 2 rest stops along the way for bathroom breaks. We really enjoyed this educational getaway and our great guide Muhammad and his driver Muhammad.
