We spent a day in the beautiful city of Alexandria, driving from Cairo city with Hegazy. Mohamed showed us the beautiful library of Alessandria, catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and Fort Qaitbey, explaining the history behind them. We recommend this tour!

I recently booked a private tour to the Pyramids with Mohsen, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. Mohsen was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of ancient Egypt. He provided insightful details about the pyramids and the Sphinx, making the whole experience feel deeply immersive. The tour was perfectly tailored to our interests, and we never felt rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy the sites at our own pace. The camel ride and ATV tour is a must if possible. The food provided at the end was also delicious and authentic. The transportation was comfortable and timely, and we felt safe throughout the entire journey. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

We had booked a private tour with Mohsen and it was excellent! He has so much knowledge, and we learnt a lot thanks to him! We visited the pyramids, he organised a camel ride for us and we caught the sunset in the desert with our ATV. It was one of the best day we have had! We felt safe from start to finish, the organisation was perfect with no issues! We finished the day with a delicious Egyptian dish chosen by him. Special thanks to him and the driver. Mohamed, as an Egyptologist, is very proficient in historic knowledge and he was also very friendly to answer all of our extra questions. This tour, apart from pyramid visiting, also offers you cultural aspects such as the importance of papyrus and how to make Egyptian essences. We loved the experience!

We decided to go with Travel Door because our time was limited, and we wanted a reputable tour operator. They are licensed and the tour operator we had was OFF THE CHARTS OUTSTANDING. He speaks excellent English and even Chinese, and grew up in Seattle, Washington--but his family heritage and lineage is heavily Egyptian. He is a Christian living and working very hard, and has earned a number of Egyptian Archeological licenses...and is an outstanding communicator! Drum roll....our unique, professional guide's name is "Michael" and he was worth every penny of the $280 we spent for a private tour for two people through his tour operator. He even hired a driver, and paid for all the major sites, and a nice, Egyptian lunch in front of the Sphynx (you pay for any drinks you might have). He also took us to a wonderland of Egyptian History which started in Memphis, rolled to Saqqarra (both excellent with Michael explaining culture, kingdoms and hyroglyphics), then onto the pyramids, Sphinx, and the Grand Museum. Importantly, he even took us to government regulated centers for the creation and sale of authentic Egyptian carpets, amazing Egyption body oils and scents, with a grand slam visit to a papyrus factory showroom where they show you how they make papyrus (and decorate it). We even tipped him and the driver generously because he worked fabulously and is a gift to Egyptian culture. FYI, this review is not paid by, or affiliated with any tour guide. We just love to see cool places. You can't likely do Rick Steve's self-guided tours and get the same experience from what may very well be a reincarnation of ancient Egypt in the name of this magnificent tour guide. Ask for Michael. Dona ha sido un excelente guía, nos ha explicado muy bien todo, tiene un gran conocimiento de la historia, sabe explicar muy bien ( y resumir o hacer preguntas inductivas ). Además , domina muy bien el castellano y es sincero. Dona was an excelente guide. He explained us everything quite precise, he knows pretty well the history and interesting facts about Egipto. Also,He is didactic during the explanations. Indeed, he dominates the spanish language as well as he seems to be honest and clear.

We saw so much of Cairo during this day. In the morning, the Citadel mosque, St Mary’s, St George’s and a synagogue in Coptic Cairo followed by lunch in a local fast food place and then shopping in the Khan-el-Khalili market complete with a stop at a coffee shop. We learnt a lot about the city both historical and modern with our wonderful guide Michael and his trusty driver Mr Hassan. The day was such good value and we’d never have managed all this on our own. We delayed the museum to the following day and combined it with a felucca ride that we wanted to do. Sameh is an excellent guide! He kept our tour moving along without rushing at any point, and he knows a lot of people, so we also got the best camel rides at the pyramids! He’s very knowledgeable about Egyptian history and the rest of the region as well. And at USD $65, this tour was a steal!

Our group of 4 friends loved the full day pyramid saqqara tour with camel and ATV. Mimo and Reda looked out for us the whole day. Whatever we wanted we just had to ask. We can’t say enough good things about this tour. Our guide waited for us in our hotel lobby promptly at 9am and we headed to Giza in our air conditioned vehicle. On the way, we were given important historical facts and tips about the things we were going to see. We visited the pyramids, the sphinx, had a short camel ride, and rode on motor bikes with a beautiful panoramic view of the pyramids. The day was absolutely perfect with the right amount of time for each activity and a fantastic shawarma and falafel for lunch. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice and was kind enough to take all of our photos. We also had a driver, who also provided cold beverages throughout the day. Thank you very much for an unforgettable day in Giza!

I loved everything about this tour I’m so glad I went! Islam was the perfect guide, I hope everyone gets the chance to have this experience. We got to the show about an hour early, saved some really good seats and went out into the market until the show started. I would highly recommend!
