About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Dieselfiree0 contributionsGreat and very memorable trip!! Far exceeded expectations!Fantastic 2 day trip!! The team at Touritos was very responsive and helpful from the very beginning. They addressed my queries speedily, and were able to accommodate to my needs, which really enhanced the overall experience! The Black & White desert are not as world-renowned as some of the other Egyptian sites, but trust me, you would NOT want to miss it!! It's like entering into a different planet! Do add this into your Egyptian itinerary, and let Touritos help you get it done. You won't regret it!Written 18 March 2025
- F513KWmariee0 contributionsBest time in SiwaI’m so thankful for booking this trip. I had the best experience I could ever imagine! We started by an amazing break by the Bir Wahed hot spring, followed by the crazy safari over the desert dunes and then the best sunset & snacks time. The next day we had a very interesting tour around the Siwa city and learned a lot about its fascinated culture and history! Cleopatra’s bath & Salt lake swim as climax! And again amazing sunset on Fatnas island. Always with amazing food, stunning hotel location and nice company! Thank you to Sherif for organizing the whole trip, always being friendly and available to all my inquiries. Big shootout to Huseyin (our guide during the entire trip) who was simply the best! He made sure we had everything we need, very professional, reactive and always with a big smile upon his face!Written 16 March 2025

- renatagQ1824IV0 contributionsSiwa Wonderland!February - not the greatest month for visiting Siwa and yet it was one of the best trips I have ever done. It was due to our amazing guide Huseyin! It started a bit off with the 8 hours trip on the bus, instead of van, which put me off a bit. When I saw Huseyin who was waiting for me in Siwa, he ensured me all was going to be great and it was! He was incredibly caring, accommodating and communicating clearly always trying to tend to all my requests and making sure I was having time of my life. The desert trip was breathtaking, I sandboarded for the first time, the Salt lakes were as beautiful as on the picture. The accommodation was fantastic throughout the entire trip. I had a wonderful experience in an amazing and very caring company. Thank you so much!Written 4 March 2025
- Connector620329633480 contributionsBest 4 days in Egypt to Black and White Desert and Siwa Oasis from CairoWell organized company and friendly staff, everything they take care of it, small detail, we booked with them the Airport transfer, combo tour to Pyramids and Desert Safari tour in one day it was the best to save our time since we have limited time in Cairo, then we traveled to the black and white desert and Siwa Oasis tour from Cairo in 4 days This is the best tour in the western desert we have done, we normally travel a lot but the staff and the management specially the CEO Mr Gamal who always keep in touch to make sure that we are enjoying We really added unforgettable memories with TouritosWritten 2 March 2025
- Emma S0 contributionsMust do visit to the Oasis with TouritosGamal and the Touritos team were great to visit Siwa with. I felt safe, very immersed in the culture over the 3 days, was able to try lots of different food, and saw beautiful varied sights. Siwa is stunning and a relaxed place to visit - would recommend! Thank you from CanadaWritten 21 February 2025
- lau22220 contributionsAverageIt was ok but not particularly well organised. Most of the guides didn't speak English very well and often didn't understand what we were saying, nor did we understand them. Our driver was very nice and professional but also didn't speak any English. Not his fault but the operator shouldn't pair us with him since we won't be able to communicate at all despite being in the same car for many hours. Wouldn't recommend overall. Although the places are interesting or beautiful it's not worth waking up at 2am and drive for hours just to get here and there.Written 30 January 2025
- hasann4660 contributionsNot greatI think this should just be Quad biking, the camel ride was one minute, took us around in a circle. Also when we were about to do the Quad biking, it said scarfs included yet we had to pay extra for the scarfs, not organised, false advertising.Written 16 January 2025

- Inspiration8086880 contributionsAwesome 3 days Siwa tourThis was an amazing tour and we had a great experience. The salt lakes were beautiful and the safari was a lot of fun. The tour guide (Magidy) was very friendly. The young driver took good care of us even though he doesn’t speak English. The CEO even lended his coat to me after floating in the cold salt lakes. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.Written 31 December 2024
- kwunyinw0 contributionsHighly RecommendedThis tour is amazing and good value! Off-roading, sand boarding and bathing in the salt lake was fun! Having dinner in the desert was a special experience to me. The tour guide Magdy was funny, friendly and very helpful. Love the little souvenirs at the end of the tour. Thank you Touritos.Written 31 December 2024

- L9652BLlarsr0 contributions2-day Tour SiwaWe were picked up from Cairo and brought to Siwa overnight. There, we met our tour guide Muhammad, who immediately created a light and fun atmosphere. He showed us all the highlights of Siwa during the 2 days that we were there. Nothing felt rushed and everything that he told us was interesting. He even gave us a gift at the end of our weekend. All in all, he took amazing care of us, and I would for sure recommend this to everyone!Written 11 November 2024

My guide Yossef arrived to pick me up from the hotel on time, his driving was impeccable regardless all the chaos on roads in Cairo, I felt as safe as one can be while commuting in Egypt. You get to see the other side of Egypt on the journey to Wadi El Rayan, the farming communities, people transporting all sorts of things on donkeys, villages with people just sitting around and socialising by the side of the road. The contract of luxury hotels and modern buildings in Cairo vs the rubbish and building materials scattered all over the place. I was overwhelmed with the sights even before we arrived at the destination. I was hoping that the tour is going to be shared with other tourists as I was travelling on my own that day, but looks like they had no other bookings on this occasion. But Yossef and the 4*4 driver Salih (I hope I memorised his name correctly) were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease. The Wadi El Rayan is beautiful and I am very glad I made the effort to see it. The Magic lake is very special (I wish I had taken my swimming gear with me), I did’t expect the water to be this clear! Dune bashing was a lot of fun (I am sooo impressed with Salish’s driving skills) as was the sand boarding experience (even though I didn’t do so well as I was worried about sustaining an injury at the beginning of my holiday). I would recommend this trip and would be even tempted to do it again if I happen to be in the area. A few things I would like to mention to people considering booking this trip: I was informed that my hotel was “was outside their area” even though it’s right next to Cairo airport (I suspect if your hotel isn’t on their list that means that you are going to be subjected to additional charges), I been charged additional 20 USD. At Bedouin camp there were a lot of flies, which made the meal time not so enjoyable (grab an insect repellent, hopefully it’s going to help), there are no changing facilities next to the magic lake, so if you want to have a swim it might be worth putting your swim gear on during the stop at the waterfalls. After that you can get changed back into dry clothes at the Bedouin camp.

We had a wonderful time and our guides were brilliant. We were not rushed and could take our time around the pyramids and Sphinx. Rasha our guide around the pyramids was knowledgeable and very experienced - it made the trip feel unique and personal. Our guide for the desert, Amn, was incredibly professional and thoughtful, and again allowed us to go at our own pace while ensuring we got the most out of our time. He also was very knowledgeable and well connected with the sites and people there. Dune basking, rowing on the lakes, sand boarding, and the striking in beautiful “magic lake” were all an incredible and exhilarating experience. Overall, for us, having personal guides were the perfect way to see the sites, we were very well taken care of, the food was good (with delicious fresh fruits), we felt safe and supported at all times.

I can only say one word about this: amazing!
We were picked up at the airport (for an extra fee that I felt was a bit high: $20), after our transport to Cairo was about 3 hours late from Alexandria, which didn't give us time to get to our hotel before the tour. However, our bags traveled with us to the desert. Our family group was my wife, two boys (8 and 12) and I.
We were greeted by our guide Mohamad Yasser, aka Mojito, and we quickly learned how amazing of a guide he was. He was very accommodating, spoke Spanish (our native language) very well, and quickly became part of our family.
We were driven to the desert on an air-conditioned car and once we got there, we were moved to a 4x4, which took us the rest of the way (our bags were left at the other vehicle, to which we returned at the end of the experience).
We went camel-riding, saw the waterfalls between the lakes, and did some sand boarding. My family simply loved all of this, and our driver and guide made it that much more fun.
We finished the day with a meal at a desert Bedouin camp, before going back to our hotel.

Professional company that provided a great day tour option to get out of the city and see a more remote area of Egypt. We loved the sand-boarding on the dunes and the views from the Mountains. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and laid back. Advice for other travelers - if smoke bothers you, you may want to request a non-smoking guide as it is common in Egypt. Also, swimming was not permitted. I’m not sure if it was the time of year as other reviewers seem to have enjoyed swimming in the lake, so please inquire before booking if this is important to you.

I cannot say enough good things about our tour with Ibrahim. He was a FANTASTIC guide and it was clear he had a passion for sharing his country’s beauty, and making sure his guest enjoyed their excursion. I would highly recommend this tour, and Ibrahim as a guide, to anyone visiting Egypt. Thank you King Ibra!!! Your brothers in the US wish you the best!

I was fortunate to take a trip to the fascinating desert of Fayoum, and my experience was simply breathtaking. This journey was not just a visual delight for the senses, but also an exploration of Egypt's history and nature. What made this experience particularly unforgettable was our exceptional guide, Ibrahim.
Our journey began early in the morning. We were picked up directly from the hotel, and during the drive, Ibrahim provided us with a wealth of information about Egypt and the desert. Ibrahim was a true gem; he always took breaks when we needed them, bought us water and snacks, and we were thoroughly satisfied. Initially, we drove to the waterfalls, explored them, and received all the necessary information. Then, we enjoyed a delightful camel ride. Later, we drove through the sand dunes by car. At every dune, there were shouts of "Yallah" :D. We made a stop at a large dune to try sandboarding. Since we were the only guests, Ibrahim gave us as much time as possible, allowing me to slide down the dune multiple times (the climb was very exhausting for me, but they patiently waited for me). The best part of this trip was being in a very small group and having endless time to take photos – Ibrahim also acted as our photographer :). Afterward, we went to the oasis, where we had the opportunity to ride horses and enjoy a delicious meal.
I wholeheartedly recommend this excursion, as you experience many attractions in a single day, and Ibrahim, our guide, fulfilled all our wishes. His passion for the desert and its secrets was contagious. With every step, he told us about the hidden oases, the fascinating rock formations, and the traces of ancient civilizations that once flourished here. If you ever have the opportunity to explore this amazing desert, I strongly urge you to do so with such a dedicated and knowledgeable guide like Ibrahim. It will be a journey you will carry in your heart forever.

A beautiful day of exotic activities in the heart of the desert accompanied by a very friendly team.
The 4x4 driver will delight your desire for thrills.
Typical restaurant in a Bedouin camp, very quiet and very good.

This tour is exceptional! It offers a unique travel experience and it created a wonderful, memorable day during my trip to Egypt. The guide, Hassan, made this tour enjoyable and he also extended his expertise to other aspects of our stay in Cairo, which was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond making sure we were well taken care of and we appreciate all that he has done for us. His English is nearly perfect and he answered all of our questions with ease. I would absolutely recommend him and this tour to anyone as it exceeded my expectations.

We had so much fun on our day trip to Wadi Elrayon and would recommend everyone to book this tour if you have a spare day in Cairo. Our tour guide and driver were very kind and made us feel very looked after. We have so many beautiful photos and memories from this trip. It was our first time sand boarding which was our highlight along with our lunch at the bedouin camp. They can cater for vegetarians also.
