A highlight of my 3-week trip to Egypt! I did this walking towards the end of my trip when I moved hotels to downtown Cairo after staying near the pyramids. Marwa was a fantastic guide and gave loads of information about recent history, daily life, and her fond memories of downtown hijinks. She took time to learn my interests and pointed out places she thought I’d find particularly interesting, along with the itinerary highlights. As a solo female traveller I would not have ventured out downtown at night - this was a great way to have an evening out on the town :)

Our fascinating walk over the Nile into downtown Cairo with Mina was a treat as he enthusiastically shared his love and deep knowledge of his vibrant city, its rich history, interesting culture and architecture, and beauty. Along the way we were taken to some of his favourite quarters, places where locals were gathering with friends in cafés and restaurants and where we were treated to some of the culinary flavours of Egypt. This walk with Mina really helped us to understand and appreciate the amazing city that Cairo is. By the end of our evening, we felt like we were saying farewell to a good friend.

Our Tour guide Mina was an awesome guide. He is a friendly, energetic and mainly he listens and understands you. As we walked, he explained to us all the different events that took place in the different routes/areas of Cairo. His has a wealth of knowledge not only of Egypt but in his endeavors globally. Speaking to Mina and getting his response from the heart meant a lot then from someone reading from a manual. We walked through the streets of Cairo downtown, seeing from the heritage structures, enjoying local cuisine, shops and people while still getting an understanding of all amneties. We also experienced the subway and enjoyable experience. Even something like simply crossing a road. Mina made us feel comfortable from start to end. I highly recommend Mina, wishing him all the best in his endeavors.

Abdou is truly a wonderful tour guide. Not only he is a walking encyclopedia of Egyptian knowledge, he also has the best sense as to choose the best shady and least crowded place to give us information regarding the site. I would like to extend my compliments to Mohamed, our tour guide, and Amro, our driver, for the days tour. I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and nurturing care towards my brother & I.  This is our first time in Egypt from Australia and I am in awe towards Mohameds knowledge and passion towards tourism and the Egyptian history. We received an exquisite and a beautifully unique experience from Mohamed in the last 2 days.  A tour guide can definitely make or break your experience and Mohamed made our experience a delightful one.  Our comfort and experience was his priority and we were heart warmed by his genuine efforts.  I have seen many people from all walks of life in my travel experiences to Bali, Australia, France, America, Mexico, Lebanon, Syria and UAE, together with my profession as a Fraud and Intelligence investigator, and when I come across a genuine person like Mohamed who genuinly loves their job and treats foreigners with kindness, respect and care, they truly deserve a spotlight. I have never received such care for his customers & tourism from any tour guide like Mohamed. Tourism is not just a job for Mohamed, it is a passion and we witnessed his divine knowledge and expertise.  The tour was incredible!! We highly recommend using urban adventures. Mohammad is a great asset. Having Mohamed as your guide makes the experience.  We LOVE Egypt 🇪🇬 and we can't wait to come back!

Our downtown Cairo tour with Mina was absolutely fantastic! Mina is an outgoing and friendly guide! He was informative, and enjoyable to be with. He showed us some special secret sites of the city… And even made accommodations for us to see some of the things that we wanted to see. He took us to popular patisserie for ice cream and a really good place for dinner for Shawarma! Yummy! He then took us on a metro to see another part of downtown Cairo, and also made sure that we were safe to our final destination back to the hotel. If you have a chance you should get Mina as your guide! He was cognizant of what we wanted to see as well as flexible and accommodating ! Thank you Mina for a great evening on our last night in Cairo!

I felt the Giza Pyramids were highly commercialized, however, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend using a Guide, as they provide all the information you need and enhance the experience.

We booked this tour for the afternoon of arrival. I had real reservations given we had been in transit for nearly 20 hours. Once the tour started all reservations were put to the side. This was our first of 4 tours with Mina as our guide. Mina was amazing and explained the local history so well. He also made us feel like extremely comfortable in a city we had no idea how to explore. The dinner was delicious and a local dish, which made me wanting to explore more of the local cuisine. Highly recommend as an introduction to Cairo.

We did the private tour of Alexandra. Our tour guide Mina was fantastic! Mina has a wealth of knowledge that he passes on with ease. It also helps that he is super friendly. The sites visited on the tour highlight the old and the modern Egypt. The time in traveling from Cairo is well spent. Highly recommend!

We had a truly amazing experience with our guide Noha who was knowledgeable and fun, and who adjusted the level and amount of information, the pace and the duration to exactly our needs. Very professional - highly recommended!

We went to see saqqara and dashur (with bent pyramid, amazing sight). Fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable and adapted to our personal interests very well. Could not have been better.

We took the tour to Saqqara, step pyramid and Memphis. Was a good day Pros: safe, comfortable, as expected, good guide (Maura), good sites that were not included in our regular tour Cons: had to meet at another hotel but easy via Uber and they dropped us off at our hotel after Tips: we did get started slightly late so be patient if you are at the hotel and don’t see them yet. And they don’t have WhatsApp but be patient. Should get a confirmation email a few days ahead. We also got done a little late (which was fine) but don’t try to schedule something else right after

My husband and I did the Islamic Cairo tour with our guide Mina and it was excellent. The passion he had for his homeland and it’s history, people and culture was evident. He went the extra mile to ensure our experience was both fun and informative. Thank you Mina for a 10/10 experience, we could not recommend Mina more highly.
