Itinerary
- 1We will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan and then you will fly to Abu Simbel. Its main attraction is the great sun temple of Ramses II and the temple of queen Nefertari. The two Temples of Abu Simbel with their unique style are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. The Temple of Ramsses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and to Ramsses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called the Sun Temple of Ramssess II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called Temple of Hathor, who was the wife of the Sun God. So in a symbolic way the two temples, the one of Ramsses II and the one of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. After finishing the visit you will fly back to Aswan and then you will be driven back to your hotel.

- 369tanyathomas0 contributionsDay trip to Abu SimbelWe wanted to visit Abu Simbel and were looking for a good travel agent to do a day trip with a guide from Aswan for our family of 6. We found them online and contacted them on what's app they responded immediately and offered us a really good price for the group along with a private guide and pick up and drop back at our accommodation. They were on time and briefed us well about the day's schedule and we had a comfortable trip back and forth. The agent also made sure to follow up on how our experience was to Abu Simbel and our trip to Egypt. We would recommend Dahab Day tours to anyone looking for a Quality experience with competitive prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Abu Simbel Temple. Cheers!!!Written 27 November 2019
- Irene D0 contributionsAbu Simbel Tour (payment not worth it)We booked in Dahab to lessen our headache, but we ended up having a headache. We paid 40usd per person prior to the trip. The package include: Pick up service from your hotel in Aswan and return English-speaking Egyptologist guide Entrance fees to the mentioned historical places. However, we ended up being stressed: 1. Pickup place not from our hotel (but city side) so we needed to pay 100 EGP) 2. It was raining; we came to the meetup place at 3:55 am, but fetched at 4:18am. 3. No orientation, no briefing what will happen in Abu Simbel. 4. We didn’t have tickets and tour guide in Abu Simbel so we couldn’t enter. We were also told we could stay for 2-3 hrs but the driver said only 1hr. 5. We called the agency, they told us to pay tickets (and the driver will refund us), which made everything useless arranging it with them 6. The tour guide (not Dahab but Abu Simbel guide) helped us (thanks to him he did the job of the Agency) 7. When we finished everything, they only messaged us “Hope you enjoyed the trip”. 8. I complained through whatsapp and email, they only have seen my message. I suggest look for a better agency. Abu Simbel is worth it though!Written 17 February 2018
