The Edfu temple is around 2300 years old from Ptolemaic period. Nile cruise will stop at Edfu and they will give you just two hours to visit the temple. But definitely two hours is not enough. For normal tourists it’s ok. But for history buffs like us we need atleast 3-4 hours to enjoy the temple and take some good photos in the morning sun.
The pillars are huge and the pillars top was awesome like a flower petal. Lookout for Nilometer inside the temple. The kings will decide the agricultural tax with the water level taken from this nilometer.
The holiest holy place inside the temple is excellent with some model Altars.
A must visit for history lovers !

Nothing bad to say about this trip at all. Would definitely recommend this trip with Amazing Egypt tour
Wow.. Another one of those Temples that take your breath away... Lovely photo opportunities... Amazing architectures.. Even though we knew it was summer...we still had to bear the serious heat.. So be prepared... But despite the heat.. Every view of this amazing site was worth it...thoroughly enjoyed it... Highly recommended by my family

Seeing one third of the world's effects in Luxor
I visited the west and east of Luxor where I saw many temples such as the Temple of Luxor, the Karnak Temple and the Mummification Museum and also went to the west and saw the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and others was so stunning

Sempre vale a pena
