Although the Lotus was supposed to be an upgrade from our cancelled booking on the Salacia, it was somewhat disappointing. We could not secure an upgraded cabin on the Lotus although we paid for one on the Salacia. The room was small and dated. Requests for early room cleaning and extra coffee while on tours were acknowledged but not fulfilled. 3 times in 4 days we had to ask for coffee and then were confronted when we got the packets ourselves from the buffet. The staff was always overly apologetic but still the service was lacking. The food and food choices were good but we both did have a short bout of the runs from something we ate on the ship. (We never ate street food). They only give you four bottles of water for your room without telling you that you have to pay for an extra bottle when you run out . (You can’t drink the ship’s water). They also charge you for drinks at each meal including water! We were confronted by another traveller and the staff did very little to intervene and remove her from our table area so we left. The manager was very apologetic but the experience was less than expected.

The driver is very nice and on time to pick up us from hotel, and we enjoyed the trip. We really enjoy this trip and we are till my friends to join the tours
