Had a guided tour with Ahmed. He was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable! He gave a complete breakdown of the history of ancient Egypt which was very helpful before touring the different tombs and temples. Request Ahmed if possible, he's the best!

This excellent private tour was made even better by visit luxor tours. its amazing.they have excellent archeologists whose knowledge of ancient Egypt is incredible and they adds many fascinating details at every extraordinary site. We went to 2 local restaurants and one local coffee shop, and he took us on 2 boat rides across the Nile. If he recommends a horse-drawn carriage ride through neighborhoods off the beaten tourist path where real residents of Luxor live and work, for sure do it . One of the best tours we ever had, and the hotel we stayed at overnight was excellent. Six stars for this one. Request Ahmed. (Full Disclosure: Like many tours nowadays, this one involved a couple of "marketing stops," one at an art gallery and one at an alabaster maker. There are interesting demonstrations at both and it is quality work, , and you are under no obligation, but the sales people at both places can be quite persuasive.

My first experience with the Egyptologist was from earlier in January and I did not have a single complaint that the second time I went back to Egypt, I booked a tour with him around Cairo. The itinerary was amazing and well-planned. Day 1 Giza pyramids as well as the Sphinx. We also visited the Saqara pyramids and what I think would be called graveyards 😬 (which is creepy in itself but history gives it a spin) Day 2 The Egyptian museum, the curved pyramid and the red pyramid Day 3 Old Cairo, suspended church and the cave church. Also Muizz street and Khaan Alkhalili, which are a must for those interested in antiques and shopping. The best thing was that we started early and finished early (think of the blazing heat of the summer in Cairo in July). The company also was punctual, very organized and the drivers were polite and accommodating. As for the Egyptologist, he was well-informed, did not skip a beat on any of my questions (and boy do I ask a lot) and was also patient and smiling the whole time (we had a child in our group that was not that enthused with all the ruins 😂) and the cherry on top of the cake is that he takes the greatest photos. I would definitely book them again and highly recommend them too!!

My first visit to Egypt has been great and perfect. Nothing was wrong and all of this thanks to Ahmed. He arrenged the whole trip, From the stay to Il Cairo to the many excursions to specific sites nothing was less than perfect. To our minutely planned Trip Galal added last minute changes and surprises that offered us memorable memories. His background ensured us a very exhaustive and knowledgeble explanations about thte Pharaonic Period. The visit of Abydos and Phile rappresented the focus of my journey and both the days were been perfect. Ahmed arranged the drivers and the boats. The accomodation in amazing Hotels and resorts with such a view. All of this made my first visit of Egypt memorable. Thanks Galal
