- subhashishb20140 contributionsOnce in a Lifetime Egypt TourWe had an amazing time in Egypt during our visit in October. Ashraf made our trip truly memorable. He arranged a thoroughly enjoyable itinerary which included trips to Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor and Aswan. We had no stress on our trip as Ashraf had organised the transportation and tour guides for the entirety of the trip. Ashraf and his family made us feel very welcome in Egypt, forming lifelong memories. I would highly recommend using LuxorPrivate Tour for anyone planning a trip to Egypt in the future.Written 27 October 2024
- kathmandun20180 contributionsGreat experienceMe and my husband decided to visit Egypt on mis October for 8 nights. We had an amazing time in Egypt, thanks to Ash and his team of guides. We were a bit skeptic at first after reading people’s review about their experiences in Egypt. But Ash made the trip very smooth for us. He arranged an itenary for us which took us to all the right places in a private car. We managed to go to multiple cities - Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan and spend the night in each cities. We visited major temples, the pyramids, and museums. Most of our tour guides were excellent! Ash himself was a friendly, positive guy, who went beyond his way to organise a birthday party for my husband. Overall, very glad to have chosen Luxor private tour as our tour company!Written 22 October 2024
- SiegiP20190 contributionsThanks Rahim for the best tour everAfter struggling to find a guided tour that met all of my travel needs and covered the places I wanted to see, I reached out to Ashraf at LuxorPrivateTour—and I’m so glad I did! My daughter and I were hoping for a truly customized experience that would allow us to make the most of our time in Egypt, and Ash delivered beyond our expectations. From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully planned, and our entire trip was smooth, stress-free, and memorable. One of the things that impressed me the most was Ash's ability to build a custom itinerary around our specific travel dates and preferences. We had a long list of must-see sites, from the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Ash worked closely with me to ensure we could fit everything in without feeling rushed. The result was a perfect balance between active sightseeing and relaxation. Our tour started in Cairo, where we were able to see the iconic pyramids, the Sphinx, and Sakkara. The guide Ash provided was incredibly knowledgeable and an Egyptologist who made history come alive for us. I’ve always been fascinated by Egyptian history, and having someone explain the finer details at each site made the experience all the more enriching. The hotels Ash booked for us throughout the trip were fantastic. Whether we were in Cairo, Luxor, or Aswan, we stayed in high-end accommodations that offered both comfort and authenticity. Each hotel was carefully chosen to match the vibe of the area, and we felt like we were experiencing Egypt at its best, not just from a tourist's perspective. Our Nile cruise was another highlight of the trip. We traveled in comfort down the river, with stunning views of the ancient temples and landscapes along the way. The cruise ship itself was wonderful—the food was delicious, the staff was attentive, and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. It was the perfect way to see Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the unforgettable Abu Simbel Temple. Our guide on the cruise was also fantastic, explaining every site in detail and adding fun anecdotes about the history and culture. After all the history and sightseeing, we spent a few days unwinding in Hurghada at a beautiful, family-friendly resort by the Red Sea. This part of the trip was the ideal way to recharge after our whirlwind tour of Egypt's ancient wonders. The resort was gorgeous, with stunning views, great amenities, and top-notch service. We enjoyed some quality beach time and even took part in a few water activities. It was the perfect way to end our trip, and my daughter loved every moment of it. One of the best aspects of traveling with LuxorPrivateTour was the seamless logistics. Every single transfer and mode of transportation was on time and professionally handled. Whether we were flying, driving, or cruising, everything was smooth and stress-free. I loved the fact that we had our own private guide throughout the trip, which gave us the flexibility to explore at our own pace. It felt much more personal than being part of a larger group tour, and having that one-on-one attention from our guide made a huge difference.Written 26 September 2024
- Nofrtari50 contributionsONCE a life - really amazingLuxorPrivateTour provided us with a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Egypt. From the rich history to the stunning temples and the relaxing Nile cruise, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Ash and his team were always available through WhatsApp, constantly checking in to ensure everything was running smoothly. Their attention to detail was apparent, and they even booked us a hotel room to rest in the afternoon heat at no extra charge. While there were a couple of small issues—like the cramped vehicle and occasional crowds—these were minor compared to the extraordinary experience LuxorPrivateTour delivered. If you’re looking to explore Egypt in a way that feels both luxurious and authentic, I highly recommend booking with them. Just be prepared for some long travel days, and you might want to request a larger vehicle if you’re traveling with a group. Thank you, Ash, Rahim,Yara, and the whole team, for making our Egyptian adventure truly unforgettable!Written 25 September 2024
- 156attilaj0 contributionsAsh the bestI recently had the pleasure of booking on a 10-day adventure across Egypt with LuxorPrivateTour, and I can confidently say that it was an experience of a lifetime! From start to finish, Ashraf (Ash) and his incredible team exceeded every expectation. If you're looking for a tour company that delivers exceptional service, deep historical knowledge, and personalized attention, LuxorPrivateTour is your answer. Here's a detailed review of what made my trip truly unforgettable. Seamless Planning and Communication From the moment I reached out to LuxorPrivateTour, I knew I was in capable hands. Ash personally responded to my initial inquiry, and what impressed me the most was how attentive and responsive he was throughout the entire planning process. I had a lot of specific requests for our itinerary, such as visiting Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel, and taking a Nile cruise. I also had concerns about traveling to Egypt during this time, given the various news reports about regional unrest. Ash went above and beyond to address my concerns, explaining how safe the tourist regions of Egypt are and assuring me that we would be well taken care of. He was right! From Cairo to Luxor to Aswan, we felt completely secure. Ash made sure to craft an itinerary that not only covered all our must-see spots but also included some off-the-beaten-path locations that were less crowded and equally awe-inspiring. Exceptional Guides and Deep Knowledge One of the standout elements of this trip was the quality of the guides LuxorPrivateTour provided. We had the pleasure of being guided by Dr. Mohammad, an experienced Egyptologist, during our time in Luxor. His passion for Egyptian history was contagious, and he had a way of making complex historical facts both accessible and engaging. Whether it was the grandeur of Karnak Temple or the fascinating tombs in the Valley of the Kings, Dr. Mohammad provided context that enriched every moment. In Aswan and Abu Simbel, we had the equally wonderful Mike, who tailored our visits to avoid the large crowds, allowing us to explore these iconic sites in a more intimate setting. Mike’s knowledge went beyond just history—he also provided insight into contemporary Egyptian culture and life, which added another layer of depth to our trip. Impeccable Logistics and Comfort Traveling in Egypt can be logistically challenging, but with LuxorPrivateTour, everything ran like clockwork. From the moment we were picked up at Cairo airport to our transfer back at the end of the trip, every detail was flawlessly organized. The vehicles provided were clean, modern, and comfortable—especially important given the hot weather and long travel distances. Our drivers were punctual, polite, and most importantly, made us feel safe on Egypt’s bustling roads. The Nile cruise, a 4-day journey, was another highlight. LuxorPrivateTour upgraded us to a luxurious suite at no extra charge, and it truly elevated our experience. The food on the cruise was delicious, and the onboard staff was incredibly attentive, always going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Waking up to the serene views of the Nile and visiting temples like Edfu and Kom Ombo along the way was a dream come true. Personalized and Flexible Itinerary Ash's ability to customize the itinerary to our preferences was one of the best parts of working with LuxorPrivateTour. For example, we had originally planned to visit Abydos, but based on our discussions with Mike, we adjusted the schedule to explore Medinat Habu and Dendera instead, which ended up being one of the highlights of the trip! The flexibility to make changes based on our evolving interests made the experience feel less like a cookie-cutter tour and more like a personalized adventure. I also appreciated how Ash built in moments for relaxation, such as our stay at a luxurious all-inclusive resort in Hurghada. After several days of intensive temple visits, it was the perfect way to unwind. The resort had all the amenities one could ask for, and the Red Sea was just as beautiful as everyone says. Attention to Detail One thing that really stood out to me was LuxorPrivateTour's attention to detail. Whether it was providing cold water bottles after a long temple visit, booking us a room to rest in the afternoon heat without any extra charge, or arranging a quick shopping trip on our last day, nothing was too much trouble for Ash and his team. Even small touches, like knowing the best times to visit sites to avoid the heat and crowds or offering us insight into the best places to take photos, made a world of difference in our experience.Written 24 September 2024
- 807lilianak0 contributionsLuxorWe spent an amazing time in Luxor with Ash and his team! Nothing was missing : we learned so much about the Egyptian culture, visited all the temples and tombs and also had unforgettable moments like an early morning ballon ride over the desert or lunch on a sailing boat! All organized by Ash and his team! Thank you so much for your kindness and help! We will keep this trip in our best memories.Written 26 August 2024
- Katti F0 contributionsGreat Tour… Amazing Day!This tour is one of the most comprehensive that I have ever taken. Transportation from the hotel to Luxor by plane and viceversa was on time. The driver was very kind and punctual as well. No problems at all! Dr. Mohammad (Egyptologist) was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained every single detail in a very easy and enjoyable way for my family and myself. The Valley of the kings and Karnak Temple were the highlights of my day… breathtaking! This tour company went the extra mile with us. In the afternoon, they even booked a hotel for us to rest 2 hours due to the extreme temperatures without any additional charge. Lunch was great! In general very trustworthy company. I highly recommend this tour! Thanks so much for an unforgettable day!Written 13 June 2024

- Travelholic03190 contributionsTrip of a Life Time with Ash and Team LuxorPrivateTour!Luxor Private Tour, Ashraf (Ash) and his team of professional and highly educated guides were amazing. We felt like rock stars being privately escorted everyday by Ash and his team. There is a reason why Luxor Private Tour has an excellent rating. I know many of you are concerned visiting Egypt during this time. My wife and I had had the same concerns about traveling to Egypt but let me remove any apprehensiveness and fear you may have in traveling to this region. Ash assured us that it is safe and the conflicts are far away from this area. It was business as usual in Cairo and as well in Aswan and Luxor which is the southern areas of Egypt. It was very easy setting up the itinerary with Ash. You tell him how many days you have or specific areas you want to visit and he handles the rest. We visited the pyramids and many temple as far down south as Abu Simbel Temple. Took a 3 night 4 day Nile cruise and because of timing was luckily upgraded to a suite by Ash (Thank You). On day 8-10 we ended our vacation in Hurghada which is a beautiful all inclusive resort to relax after a busy itinerary. Can't say enough about Ash and Team LuxorPrivateTour. Email him and then he likes to communicate through Whatsapp after making contact. I highly recommend using LuxorPrivateTour if you are considering to visit Egypt!Written 27 April 2024

- sask03090 contributionsThe only way to do Egypt is thru Luxor Private and Ash!Just got back from our Easter trip to Egypt and its just been a perfect break for us! This is our second trip to Egypt and we knew we wanted a more in-depth appreciation of the wonders of the Egyptian history, definitely more than our quick cruise day-tours from a few years back. So, we had some must-do things and places listed - Saqqara, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel, etc. One of the critical ask was for a more seasoned egyptologist that can cover our many queries into Egyptian antiquities, and not just a run-of-the-mill guide. I was also initially in a quandry if we should take a Nile Cruise or not. So, one can just imagine the multitude of questions we had and expectations to be managed. BUT nothing was too much to ask, and no favours to complicated for Ash, the owner of LuxorPrivate. He personally replied to all my queries; and now looking back, has been very spot-on in his responses; and his patience was just commendable. The trip was exactly what we had hoped for, and worked like clock-work - from arrival airport pick up to transfers, to schedule management-- Ash and team were just superb and on the ball, in all ways. His staff Yala also constantly reassured me that everything is in order, even as I inquired minute details like luggage allowance for the flight to Luxor. I find Ash's suggestions to be practical, and rates to be reasonable considering the service level offered (A+++). The vehicle used were all new models of Toyota Hi Ace Grandia, clean and very well-maintained. His drivers were all friendly, polite and knowledgeable. and since we were also able to cover most of my itinerary earlier than expected, Ash even allowed some mall time on the last day (with the driver in tow) to see and visit modern Egypt in Nasr and Heliopolis. Entrance to sites are also included, so its just been quite hassle-free, and straight to site visits. All throughout the trip, Ash continues to be available (and we even met up in Luxor) and Mike Farah (my incredibly patient and knowledgeable egyptologist guide who was with us all the way) continues to adjust my itinerary to ensure that our interests are continually pique. My original iti included Dendera and Abydos, but the suggestion day before was to do Medinat Habu, Dendera + some commoners' grave sites, as we have been exposed to something and an experience similar to the temple in Abydos already. And, it turned out to a be a pleasant surprise and was the highlight of the day! What we also specially appreciate is that Mike purposely led us away from crowds and peddlers selling souvenirs. We didnt feel harassed or pressured to buy anything, or to go anywhere we are not interested to be in. These small gestures mean a lot, made us feel cared for, and most importantly, safe. Thank you Ash, Mike and team for a most memorable, stress-free and enlightening trip to Egypt! I have told friends already and Egypt is definitely now in their must go list!Written 7 April 2024

Luxor Private Tours made my visit to Egypt a trip of a lifetime. Generally speaking, I am not a huge fan of travel agencies, but my experience with Ashraf (Luxor Private Tours) could not have been better. If I have to highlight 3 things, these would be: honesty, transparency and flexibility.
Initially I was only looking for transportation. I was travelling with 3 friends and we were looking for someone to drive us around from Hurghada to Luxor to Aswan. I chose them over many others I had reached out to because i) their reviews granted a lot of confidence, ii) their communication was very easy and they were very responsive (whatsapp and e-mailed worked perfectly), and iii) their price was super competitive.
From the first moment we met we realized we could trust their recommendations. Over 4-5 days they took us to the best site visits when there were no tourists around, to the best local restaurants, they told us when we were overpaying for things and helped us get the best deals (even for a sim card!). I truly felt like a traveler more than a tourist, which is something I particularly like when I travel!
Travelling with Luxor Private Tours was extremely easy (and Ashraf’s brother has to be the best driver in the whole of Egypt!). We basically did everything we wanted to do, exactly when we wanted to do it. If we wanted to rest in the hotel, so be it. If we wanted to leave an hour earlier or later, so be it. You could tell their sole interest was that we had the best experience ever.
Some of his recommendations were:
1. Visit with a guide. I had initially planned to visit Egypt without a guide, but Ashraf recommended that we went with one, He introduced us to Rama and looking back, I do not know how we would have been able to visit Egypt without her. She explained everything very well and with the best attitude (always a smile in her face!).
2. Visit Abu Simbel. I had initially excluded Abu Simbel because it was a long drive from/to Aswan. However, it was absolutely worth it! Ashraf helped us change our flights to later in the day and we went on a day trip. We had expected a long and tiring drive but with Ashraf’s brother on the wheel it was perfect!
3. Visit Cairo with Luxor Private Tours! I had planned to visit Cairo on our own, but our experience with Ashraf had been so good in Luxor and Aswan, that he arranged for us to be picked up from Cairo Airport and had someone with us over our 3 days in Cairo.
We visited Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, Valley of the Kings, we went on a hot air balloon ride at sunrise, visited Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, Temple of Horus in Edfu, we visited Philae Temple (at night!) in Aswan and we also visited Abu Simbel! He also took us on a sunset cruise in the Nile which was superb. In Cairo we visited the Pyramids of Giza as well as Old Cairo and Islamic Cairo.
All in all, we felt a part of the Luxor Private Tours’ family. Our highlight was having lunch at Ashraf’s home. He welcomed us with his family, something we will never forget!
Highly recommend that you reach out to Ashraf, he will make sure you have the best experience ever!
