About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 02philippaj0 contributionsHelpful, Knowledgeable and InterestingMohammed was very helpful, knowledgeable and interesting. As many of the places to visit do not have many information boards it was invaluable to have Mohammed to tell us about what we were seeing and so truly appreciate the beautiful landmarks of Luxor. He was flexible to the timings we wanted for our tours and gave excellent recommendations as to what to visit. Thank you so much Mohammed for making our short time in Luxor awe inspiring.Written 7 February 2025
- killergiraffes940 contributionsOutstanding Tour Guide!!!We had Dr Mo as our guide for 6 days from Luxor down to Aswan, and he truly made our experience incredible! Extremely knowledgeable, he enriched every place we visited with his insight about the history, mythology and symbolism of what we were seeing. Such a warm and kind-hearted person, he was a great resource for every question we could possibly have, always going above and beyond! He provided some extra material to help us learn some key phrases in Arabic and decipher some of the hieroglyphics and also taught us a game variation of Senet he had created and developed (which we brought back home and taught to my niece and nephew!). Everything about his passion and dedication to Egyptian history and culture was unparalleled. Dr Mo will definitely be the first call we make the next time we are planning a trip back to Egypt!Written 1 January 2025
- Q6112OMrogert0 contributionsGentle and wise Dr. MoReally enjoyed the “history lessons” given by Mohamed. He would be able to answer any questions you have during the visit, especially the craving. 👍🏻 enjoyed so muchhhhhWritten 28 December 2024
- Ka Ian N0 contributionsGreat travel experience with Dr.Mo! We met Dr.Mo in Philae temple, we heard a bit of his explanation about the painting on wall and we think he is really good. So we asked for his number and want to hire him as our guide for rest of our trip in Luxor and Aswan. He speaks fluent English and legit amazing tour guide. He can help you to arrange all cars, activities and tours that you are interested in. Just ask him! The tour details and offers price is very reasonable, no high mark up and super good quality. We never need to worry about the all activities and cars anymore for rest of the trip. He will take care everything for you. No more scam, confusion and miscommunication 🤣 Definitely a great travel experience in Egypt with Dr. Mo.Written 27 December 2024
- 293filippof0 contributionsa gentle Doctor that will unleash EgyptEgypt has a very complicated and long history that spans for more or less 5 thousand years. Explaining all this history could get quite impossible also going trough all the temples and archaeological sites you can see. Yet Dr. Mo does this very well, trying not to over load your mind with to much information and giving what I found to be the proper amount of interest that makes you understand properly what you are looking at. His kindness and preparedness are really top of the point and when questioned he always got very deep in the matter. Also modern Egypt can be discussed and had a very good time around with him on the steamboat Sudan.Written 27 June 2024
- teachererickc0 contributionsIt was a Great experience with Mr. MoDespite the short time I had available to go on a tour, Mr Mo made a personal itinerary to visit many places and take advantage of the time. His tour guides were amazing and helpful, excellent English and service. I fully recommend Mr Mohamed serviceWritten 25 June 2024
- Z2966IYbryanh0 contributionsLuxor Temple with Dr. Mo!This was our 4th Tour with Dr. Mo. Without his guidance and explanations we would not have gained a fraction of the knowledge and understanding of the history of the Luxor Temple Complex. He was able to explain the meanings behind the carvings and hieroglyphs and to explain the construction and design of the Temple Complex. While we had spent time with different Guides while in Cairo and in Aswan, who we are wonderful and professional, Dr. Mo was, by far, the most knowledgeable and made our time with him a "beyond expectation" experience.Written 21 March 2024
- K3334HMtimm0 contributionsExcellent local guide.Mohammed is an expert on pharaonic Egypt and a very warm individual generous with his time. He continues to support my remote research in Ptolemaic Egypt with specific photographs taken on site months after we have visited. He is able to pitch his content at various levels, from fellow academics to young children. It was a pleasure to travel with him.Written 13 March 2024
- kmleung2330 contributionsA very humorous and kind tour guideDr. Mo will explain the history and architecture of ancient Egyptian temples to us in a humorous and interesting way, making it easier for us to understand. Additionally, he is a very friendly friend and is happy to answer any questions about Egyptian history. Also, He is also a board game designer, we will often play the board game together during our trip.Written 10 March 2024

- fiony7290 contributionsHappy Trip in EgyptI had travelled Egypt many years ago, the most amazing place is pyramid at Cairo, how to build in over 4000 years before? My question is appeared in my mind still now. The other interesting sightseeing is nile river where is attractive for us. Of course, the culture and history of Egypt is also amazing especially visiting Cairo museum which showed a lot of meaningful things. Finally, our tour leader Dr. Mohamed Senousy also played important role to introduce much Egypt information to increase our understanding of Egypt. His image and presentation always in my mind, very good!Written 22 September 2023

- preeve20180 contributionsFascinating in-depth tour of Aswan and LuxorDr Mo was really brilliant - we wanted more archaeology than is the norm, and he really took trouble to show us the lesser known sights - his academic background was particularly helpful, and he guided us with authority and deep knowledge, as well as great humour!Written 8 April 2023
- H9538ZZevelynb0 contributionsDr.Mo's great Egyptian TourDr Mo was truly an excellent tour guide for our family. The detailed explanation he had for every single place we visited really gave our trip a more meaningful experience. He was kind enough to answer every single one of historical question that was asked and recommended us beautiful food places throughout the trip. He was very kind and welcoming to our family - who often had hard times understanding English. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have known the historical significance of the places we visited. We are so grateful towards Dr Mo for making such a memorable experience for our family. We felt so comfortable the entire time we were with him and was sad to say goodbye! By the way, he takes excellent photos and holds a very good conversation!Written 6 April 2023

Dr. Mo is the perfect guide. He constantly balances history and anecdotes, transporting his guests into the mysterious stories of Egypt. He has an excellent didactic propensity and if you happen to ask him anything about board games based on Egypt of which he is a great connoisseur. We look forward to returning with his tour to discover new wonders.
