About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Stephen D0 contributionsGiraffe Center, Kobe Beads and Bomas of Kenya half dayWe got to see a little bit of Nairobi, the giraffe center was amazing. Kobe beads had some wonderful products. Bomas of Kenya provided some interesting historical information along with native dance and music. Our driver, Stephen was knowledgeable, organized and friendly.Written 2 December 2024
- erinfI4545IO0 contributionsMemorable Day TripI am so glad to have booked my Lake Elementaita Tour through Gracepatt. Sam gave me plenty of information and was always quick to respond. Our driver guide Martin looked after us amazingly the whole time and made the experience unforgettable. The memories created will be with me for a lifetime and it wouldn't have been possible without GracepattWritten 28 November 2024
- erinfI4545IO0 contributionsSafari with Compassionate GuideWe had a safari 4-Day Masai Mara and lake Nakuru, and communication with Ms. Grace was smooth and timely. Our driver guide Titus made the 4-day journey enjoyable. Titus is an intelligent and helpful safari guide. He planned the daily itinerary from the guests' perspective and had extensive safari experience. He was very dedicated, working tirelessly each day. Titus drove safely and skillfully throughout the trip, never reckless or impulsive. During the safaris, he demonstrated skill, experience, and professionalism. Lastly, Titus showed kindness and compassion toward people with disabilities, which deeply touched us. If any of our friends or family have the opportunity to visit Kenya, we would definitely recommend Titus as a guide. Once again, many thanks to Titus.Written 28 November 2024
- O8533EPkellys0 contributionsGreat Amboseli and Tsavo SafariFrom beginning the Organization and communication with them was really good. We had 4 days long safari road from our Nairobi hotel trought Amboseli and Tsavo West to the Diani beach. Our Driver Guide Peterson was really friendly and knew good places where to find animals. The accomodation at the parks was also really nice. We recommanded allWritten 28 November 2024
- V5313HZandrewm0 contributionsWonderful Safari TripWonderful safari trip in Kenya parks for 10days. We observed a lot of animals and a lot of landscapes. I never wanted to end this wonderful tour. Our guide Martin was simply perfect: Very educated, clear in his explanations, perfect English. The lodges we slept in were wonderful. Highly recommended.Written 28 November 2024
- 86yvonney0 contributionsAmazing Lake Elementaita TripWe were only going have 2day tour to Lake Elementaita and Gracepatt planed the trip through Whatsapp was wonderful. They responds quickly and helped us tremendously when we needed to reschedule our tour. Our guide Charles went above and beyond to help us see all the animals and birds. We could not have wished for a better trip! Truly amazing!!!Written 28 November 2024
- 528raec0 contributionsLearn about the Tribes of KenyaThe dancing at Bomas was spectacular! Such enthusiasm was evident in all the dancers and instrumentalists. Also the clothing of each tribal group was unique and colorful, the dances different. In addition, there are replicas of small tribal villages with huts and granaries. Each tribe is a little different. Since these are set aside, it is a pleasant walk, not too long but adequately show village structures either a little signage about the tribe.Written 17 November 2024
- MelisK220 contributionsWhat an amazing experience!!First, I want to thank my driver and guide Mr. Titus, he was very friendly and generous. About the tour, fist stop is the giraffe center. since we arrived there at 9 AM. I was the only person in the center before it got crowded, which is very important because I was able to take great photos and feed the animals. The second stop is the elephant orphanage. I literally hugged a baby elephant. You may consider going to the back side of the area which is now very crowded and spacious. Before going to bomas, Mr. Titus took me 2 different local souvenir shops and told many stories about Nairobi. Last stop is the Bomas which is like a theatre where you can enjoy different types of local dans shows from all around Kenya performed by professional dancers with colorful costumes. Overall, the experience is great. I was picked up at 7.30 AM and dropped off to the hotel around 18PM so it takes full day. Only 45 USD is not included in the tour which is the entrance fee for the national park. Other tours are requesting entrance fees for the giraffe center and etc. but this company does not charge you for any extra fee. Totally recommended to all!Written 16 November 2024
- jamescX2192RX0 contributionsNairobi layover tour to Nairobi National Park.I had an incredible layover tour at Nairobi National Park with Gracepatt Ecotours Kenya. My guide, Stephen, was outstanding—personable, kind, and extremely professional. Despite having just a 7-hour stopover in Nairobi, Stephen ensured I experienced the best the park had to offer. We saw an array of amazing wildlife, including rhinos and giraffes up close, which was such a highlight! Stephen was also an excellent driver and managed my time perfectly, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. I highly recommend Gracepatt Ecotours and Stephen for anyone looking for a seamless and memorable tour in Nairobi. It’s the perfect way to make the most of a layover!Written 15 November 2024
- JulesCT0 contributionsHighly recommend the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe centre tour! This is a highly recommended tour. I did the half day tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Learning about the inspiring work that the Sheldrick wildlife trust do in rehabilitating elephant orphans was joyful and uplifting. And watching the feeding was a wonderful experience. Titus my tour guide, was professional and friendly.Written 10 November 2024
- MattyC950 contributionsAmazing day!Our day started by visiting the Giraffe Centre, feeding the giraffes and receiving an educational talk about the work they do. We then travelled to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where we got to see the baby rhino and elephants and learned about their stories. We finished up by visiting the Kobe Tough Beads and Leather factory which was fascinating to see the great work the women do there. This is such a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Nairobi. Our guide, Stephen, was fantastic and looked after us really well and got us a great spot at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see the Rhino and Elephants. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was the standout moment in the trip, seeing the work they do is heartwarming and brings some hope for humanity.Written 4 November 2024
- TOMOHIRO A0 contributionsNot bad experienceWe booked the Kibera Slum tour because it was advertised as a 6-hour experience, which seemed longer than other, cheaper tours. However, the tour lasted just two hours, which left us feeling short-changed. Had we known, we would have chosen another tour to get more value for our time. That said, we did appreciate having two guides. They were knowledgeable and offered a good perspective on the area, but the shorter experience still left us wishing for more. 内容に対して非常に割高です、もっと安いツアーがあるので別のツアーを選ぶことをオススメします。 また、トリップアドバイザーに6時間と記載されていますが、実際は3時間程度です。 対応してくださった方々は親切でした。Written 28 October 2024
- TOMOHIRO A0 contributionsNot bad experienceWe recently took a tour to Lake Nakuru and Naivasha, but the experience was negatively affected by several payment issues. At Nakuru, our card couldn’t be used at the payment point, which was unexpected since we’d never had issues with it before. After entering our card details, which made us uncomfortable, the payment still didn’t go through. As a result, we lost over an hour trying to resolve the issue. In the end, the staff at a nearby souvenir shop paid on our behalf using their card, and we had to pay them back in cash with a hefty commission fee. This situation could have been avoided if the tour company had handled the payments in advance. On top of this, the lunch provided was very expensive, and at Naivasha, the ticket lady attempted to charge us more than the advertised price. We booked a guided tour specifically to avoid these types of issues, but instead, we encountered them multiple times, which made the experience uncomfortable. Although our guide tried his best, we didn’t leave a tip because the problems were due to the company’s poor organization, not his efforts. Written 28 October 2024
- Discover6413050 contributionsImmersive 9 day Kenya safariIt's been two weeks since my 9 day Kenya Safari and reflecting on the experience has been a bit surreal. Martin was our tour guide for the entire time and I can only describe him as being amazing. He made the tour even more magical with having him as our guide. He's knowledgable, kind and patient. His insights to the Kenya life are something that I will always remember....it's not only the beauty and the wildlife that one is lucky enough to capture but the essence of the people that he shared is one gift that will stay with me forever. We saw everything that one could imagine...the Big Five more than once, in fact. Can I figure out a way to go back? I hope so, if Martin can by my guide!Written 22 October 2024
- lbrostoff0 contributionsLayover Mini SafariStephen is an incredible tour guide and safari driver. Met us at the hotel early after encouraging us to leave earlier than planned. The park is huge and the closest entrance is no more than 15 min fro airport . With his expert guidance, we saw Lions, Zebras, Ostriches, Cape buffalo, Rhinos, Serval cats, baboons, countless types of monkeys, etc A truly unexpected and unforgettable experience. A terrific way to spend a layover at NBO.Written 22 October 2024

It was a long drive but well worth it to see the abundance of wildlife. Amboseli is full of elephants and if it’s clear enough you can get amazing pictures of the animals with Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. We also spotted lions, buffalos, and cheetahs as well as large herds of Wildabeasts and Zebras. There is just so much wildlife here it’s hard to describe.
Even with all the wildlife, my guide Kelvin had no problem identifying every animal we saw and providing detailed and interesting information about the animals and what exactly they were doing. In particular he seemed to know a lot about elephants so if you’re really interested in elephants than Kelvin is your guy and Ambiseli is your park. He was also very attentive and really made it feel like a personal tour.
I also had the chance to briefly visit a Maasi village near the park. This was an extra $30 that went toward the tribe, but it was a really cool experience to see how the tribe actually lived.
It is a 4-5 hour drive from Nairobi so I would highly recommend staying at least one night instead of trying to cram it into a day trip with 8-10 hours driving.

I loved my 2-day tour to Amboseli with Benjamin from Gracepatt Tours. Booking was easy and they took care of everything. Benjamin was a knowledgeable guide on our journey from Nairobi to Amboseli, helping me learn more about parts of Kenya outside of the city. The drive to Amboseli took about 4.5 hours, and we even began seeing game as well as local cattle herders and amazing views of Kilimanjaro before reaching the park. We stayed at Kibo Safari Camp, which was incredibly comfortable. The tents were more like cabins with every comfort you could need, with comfortable beds and great views. We enjoyed cooling off at the pool, getting lunch, and relaxing before our afternoon game drive. The park did not disappoint! We saw just about every creature to be found in Amboseli- lions, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, hippos, gazelles, and more. And the elephants- I've never been that close or near such large herds! That was truly incredible and not something I'll forget. Benjamin also knew so much about all of the animals, and helped us learn about each creature we saw as well as the complex cultural, political, and historical forces at play in Amboseli.

Our tour was the best!! Our guide, Stephen, was prompt and on time for our pick up and was very knowledgable. We saw so many different animals during the safari...we saw 4 out of the 5 Big Five! I am a photographer and I had ample time to get my shots and just marvel at the animals. Kibo Camp was super nice and everyone was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and clean and the food was pretty great. Overall had an amazing time! Would suggest booking this tour for sure.
