About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JStees0 contributionsA great introduction to NairobiIsaac was the perfect guide. So calm in the inevitable traffic jams, so informative when asked questions. There were just the two of us. We were taken round the National Museum by a very knowledgeable woman. Then the view from the Conference Centre was amazing. We finished at the bombing memorial which we very moving. This is a hugely recommended trip, led by an excellent leader.Written 13 February 2025
- Z8803QPannieb0 contributionsExceptional experience at Ol Pejeta with Perfect Safaris Africa!Perfect Safaris Africa lives by its name! Our experience was wonderful especially due to the leadership and professionalism by our guide Kevin! He is very knowledgeable about everything related to wildlife and the richness of Kenyan culture. He knows the best photo ops, the best places to stop for snacks, and he has gained the trust of the Ol Pejeta rangers for them to guide you even more. Visiting Ol Pejeta and visiting Najin and Fatu, the last two Northern white rhinos was exceptional. If you make it all the way to Kenya, without a doubt, make it all the way to Ol Pejeta. Visit them, touch their horns, and recommit yourself to doing all you can to protect wildlife and nature. It's a long day (leaving at 5am and arriving about 8pm) but totally worth it! If you have the time, stay overnight at a hotel.Written 11 February 2025
- M5286FYlaural0 contributionsThere is a Cheetah there! Can you see it? BlahSadly, I took this trip a second time just to have binoculars. The animals are so far away and without them you can’t see them well. Mainly, Lions and big cats are impossible to spot in the high grass without binoculars. I agreed with the office staff to rent them but they forgot, which made this pointless. The driver tried his best!Written 11 February 2025
- mqn2480 contributionsUnforgettable Safari ExperienceThe safari was great! Albert was a great guide- very knowledgeable about the animals and patient. We were able to see many different animals. The camp we stayed in was simple, but had warm water, beds with mosquito nets and decent food. The workers were really friendly too!Written 10 February 2025
- 知希 松0 contributionsGreat masaiThe Maasai Mara is a breathtaking safari destination, offering unparalleled wildlife experiences. Its vast savannahs are home to the Big Five, and the annual Great Migration is a spectacle like no other. Game drives provide close encounters with lions, elephants, and cheetahs, while the stunning landscapes make every moment unforgettable. The Maasai people add a rich cultural dimension with their traditions and hospitality. Luxurious lodges and tented camps blend comfort with nature. Whether witnessing a dramatic hunt or a golden sunset over the plains, the Maasai Mara delivers an authentic and thrilling safari adventure. A must-visit for any nature lover!Written 10 February 2025
- H6776NIalexandrec0 contributionsGreat organizationEverything was well organized. We were picked up from the hotel and driven to the meeting point. The campsite was pleasant and the tent was comfortable and clean. We even had our own toilet. We were given enough food and water by them. It wasn't even the time of the year with most animals, but we mainly saw all of them. Samuel, our guide, was exceptional and extremely kind to us. He explained many things about the park and also how things work in Kenya.Written 10 February 2025
- OnAir5064440 contributionsBest Tour Ever!Where do I start with how great this tour was. Benjamin was the best. Was on time and professional and really took care of me. Made sure I was okay and enjoying the journey. It is incredible how he can spot animals from afar and he has binoculars to make sure you could see too. Very knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend him to my friends visiting Mombasa!Written 9 February 2025
- Sgsodense0 contributionsIncredible guideJoseph was an incredible guide on our Safari tour. We did a two day safari covering Tsavo East and Taita Hills, staying in Salt Lick Lodge. The trip was great from start to finish and Joseph was super knowledgeable about the routes and the parks and animals. A joy to drive with and he made sure we saw as much as possible in our limited time. There was great humour and plenty of laughs on board 😀Written 9 February 2025
- laurasU6085DT0 contributionsA Kenya highlightI wondered whether it would be fun to do this trip on my own but it was so worth it! I got clear communication in advance. James the driver was good company and made me feel totally comfortable. The park was amazing and despite having been on several day safaris I'd never seen so many animals including a group of lions hunting together. It is a long drive either way but well worth it.Written 8 February 2025
- JoJoker0 contributions3 days, 2 night safari at Masai MaraThis was an amazing experience! We were super lucky to have Charo as a guide. He was very friendly, easy to communicate, and he knows so much about all the animals that live in Masai Mara park. I really recommend this tour!Written 7 February 2025
- danielan8800 contributionsAwesome TourIt was an awesome tour! Our guide, Charo, was the best. He took us to the best spots and was always trying to takes where the wild animals were. He was kind and safe and spot many times for photos. The jeep was very comfortable. The lodge where we slept was good and simple. The good was nice. We strongly recommend this tour and if you have the chance, ask to do the tour yourself with Charo, you won’t regret!Written 7 February 2025
- Debi T0 contributionsKenyan MagicIt was a second day having Isaac as my driver and it was as good as the first trip. Bomas are magic. Seeing them sing and dance is something not to be missed.Written 4 February 2025
- Amelia J L0 contributionsGreat tour, expert guideI had the most amazing time at the safari to Amboseli with the guide and driver Festus Kazungu. He was on time to pick me up, made the journey as comfortable as possible and attended to all my needs. He's knowledgeable about the park and the animals. I saw many animals at the park thanks to his expert navigation. I really wanted to see Mt Kilimanjaro but it was too cloudy, but he managed to point out bits of the mountain among the breaks in the cloud for me. Very dedicated. Highly recommended!Written 4 February 2025
- Debi T0 contributionsIf you are going to Hell, go with this coming and ask for Issac. If you are thinking about going up to Hell’s Gate park definitely go with this company. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Issac my guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and even found me someone to pick me up when it got too hot biking in the park. He knows all about Kenya, the plants, and animals. It was just a really easy going fun time chatting with him. Reagan at the park knows just about everything and is more the happy to take it. Also knows how to take good pictures of you 😄 His intern Gomez is pretty new but you can tell he’s going to also be a very good guide through the park. After that you stop in cafe to order some food and head out to the lake. If possible ask for Joe, I don’t know how he found all of those animals and has a neat trick with a tilapia to get an Eagle to swoop down in catch it neat you. The cafe has yummy food, if your vegetarian ask for the vegetable pasta.Written 3 February 2025

Watching animals move on their territory was amazing. The park was gigantic, 72 sq miles in a large metropolitan city. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were so excited to see the giraffes as my son has loved them since he was a little boy. We took many pictures and still look at them to remember the adventure

It pains me to say this, but the tour company was very disappointing. I’m not sure I actually went with the original tour company I booked through, or if they just passed me off to someone else. In any case, they would not pick me up at my Airbnb and instructed me to get myself to the gate of the park. Once there, I was told that the tour guide would ‘help’ me with paying the entrance ticket. This did not work at all, and several of the guests were desperately trying to pay for the tickets using foreign phones and sharing hotspots. In the end, the tour guide tried to take a credit card payment from me on the spot which failed, and finally, another guest, a total stranger, had to buy my ticket, so I could take the tour. That being said, the park itself is incredible, but the payment system is a nightmare, and it was a terrible start to an otherwise wonderful day. Tour companies are well aware that the payment system is complicated and should either a) charge more for the tour and include the ticket cost; or b) instruct clients that they must purchase the ticket beforehand. There was a massive lineup of vehicles trying to enter the park so clearly lots of people were struggling. Interestingly, ‘checking’ the tourists’ tickets was done manually and they didn’t even check some of our payment confirmations. What a mess.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to write to us. We're delighted that you tour went well eventually despite the hiccups. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your tour. Your feedback is valuable, and we regret that the entrance payment process fell short of your expectations. The payment system is was just implemented recently so it's still stabilizing.
