My family and I did this city tour with our tour guide Mwose. He is extremely engaging and insightful. He shared a wealth of knowledge about Kenyan history and culture throughout this experience. We started at the incredible Nairobi National Museum where we learned about everything from prehistoric man to Kenya’s Independence in 1963 from Britain. I played with a snake and an iguana! We then went to the rooftop of the Kenyatta International Center where we were able to see the city of Nairobi from above, learn about each district and take some pretty amazing photos. We ended at the beautiful Bomas of Kenya where we had a delicious meal and watched a dance and acrobatic performance. We ran out of time for the street tour due to some unrelated circumstances but I definitely had my fill. So much to see and learn. Moses is an amazing tour guide. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a fantastic experience that we would recommend to anyone visiting Nairobi! Tim collected us from our hotel and shared information about the country and culture on our way to the tea farm. We felt in safe hands. The tea tour was so informative with Fiona and Julian demonstrating tea picking and processing as well as giving us a comprehensive tour of the land and gardens. The lunch was an incredible 3 course meal consisting of local produce, including delicious ice cream from the "ice cream makers" (jersey cows) that we met on the tour. Tim waited at the farm to drive us back safely when we were finished.

If you're heading to Kenya and want to visit a Maasai village, I highly recommend Mwose as your guide. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about Kenya’s history and culture, and he made sure we learned so much throughout the entire trip. One of the best things about Mwose is how thorough he is. He didn’t rush anything, even when our group took way too long at the Maasai market. You could tell he was tired, but he didnt rush us. He wanted us to enjoy the experience, and that made a huge difference. Mwose kept the energy up the whole time. From the two-hour drive there and back, to the actual village tour, he was constantly interacting with us, sharing stories, and keeping us entertained. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he made the entire day so much fun. In short, if you want a tour guide who’s passionate, patient, and knows his stuff, Mwose is your guy. Our trip to the Maasai village was unforgettable, and a lot of that is thanks to him! He really spoiled us. We compared the rest of our tour guides to him because we didn't have a tour guide as good as him for the rest of our trip and we really missed him! We wish he could've been our tour guide the entire trip.

Our safari in Mara does not include a visit to Maasai people, so we decided to stay a day in Nairobi and do a day trip. We were very glad that we did it. It takes about 2 hrs from Nairobi to visit this small village. The place is authentic. You see how Maasai people live, manage livestock, build their houses. They also performed few songs with jumping. You will have a chance to dress like them and participate in their activities, even making fire without matches. We had fun. Thank you Moses!

This tour was great! The tour guide was amazing. We got to see many animals and the food at the buffet was great! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and patient! The only down side is Amboseli is marketed as seeing the Big 5 in some places, but you won’t see the big 5 here. Other than that, it was great! The Maasai tour was BEYOND amazing!!! Everything about that part of the trip was perfect! Comfortable drive, friendly driver, super nice! Book him! He’s great in comparison to some other experiences I’ve heard about!

The rich culture of Masai community. At Masai mara National Reserve you get a chance to visit their village located just near the gate and interact with them, join their dances and buy some well decorated souvenirs to take back home.

Very nice safary. We were in Nairobi for a short time. We were picked up on time for an early entrance into the park. The vehicle was clean and confortable for the ride into the park. Our driver was attentive to our needs, drove safely and spotted animals we wanted to see. A great experience.

The overall experience was amazing. Our tour guide (Dennis) was very friendly, funny and taught us everything we needed to know about the Maasai, he answered every question we had. By the time we got to the village we knew to interact with them, how to greet and saying thank you. It was one lovely experience

Mwose my tour guide was excellent. It was a completely personalised experience so I felt very special. The start of the tour includes an overview of the history of Nairobi all while taking in the magnificent view from the top of the Kenyatta convention centre helipad. The beads factory was fantastic. So wonderful to see something which is helping to benefit an entire community of women. Mwose was so flexible throughout the afternoon continually checking on my preferences and adjusting the itinerary accordingly. I know most people coming to Nairobi will go for a safari tour but I would highly recommend also doing this tour if you have more time to spare and want to see another side to Nairobi .

This was the perfect way to spend a few hours during a long layover in Nairobi. I requested Tim as my guide based on previous reviews and he did not disappoint. He was informative and comprehensive. It ended up being a private tour since I was the only one, and we spent almost 3 hours together. We started in the uptown district with a brief history of Kenya and Nairobi, then walked to the city market where I had the opportunity to shop. We continued moving through the city with Tim pausing to explain important landmarks but also interesting historical buildings you wouldn’t otherwise notice if he didn’t point them out. We went to the top of the Kenyatta International Conference Center (USD 5) which I do recommend since it’s a nice way to cap off the tour and get a better understanding of the city layout. Tim indicated a several additional points of interest on the rooftop. He communicated well prior to the tour on WhatsApp, so it was easy to meet him, and he contacted my driver and waited with me until he arrived, which I also appreciated. Highly recommend.

Our guide Tim did a great job throughout our entire morning tour. He gave us history of presidents and buildings and showed through some interesting spots. We didn’t have a lot of time but he was thorough with the things we were able to see.

Guide Tim was great and gave me a detailed and interesting overview of Nairobi’s history. It was very helpful to have this as part of the city walk as it put the tour in context and the history behind the places we saw

This being our first time in Nairobi, we decided to do this approx. 3-hour tour and were not disappointed. Michael gave as an insightful introduction to life in Nairobi and Kenya in general and showed us many interesting buildings and monuments throughout the city as well as an indoor and outdoor market. He told us about the meaning of wooden masks in Kenyan culture, showed us some of his own paintings and gave us an excellent explanation of the view from the KICC at the end of the tour.
