- Resort416698271150 contributionsMost recommended tour operator, professionals with a personal touchFlight & Safaris International are excellent in their work, highly professional but have not lost that personal touch that makes your trip special. Two of my colleagues and I did two tours with them during our Kenya trip, one day tour to Amboseli and 3-day tour to Masai Mara. Our guide for this tour was Jonathan Musyoka and he is one of the most important persons who made this trip special for us. He has excellent knowledge of the flora and fauna in Amboseli, was able to identify more than 50 species of birds and equal number of plants and trees. He is very friendly too and we became like a small family during the trip. Would highly recommend Flight & Safaris International for anyone travelling to Kenya and nearby places. Winnie, who is their Managing Director, came to flag us off at the hotel for the three-day Masai Mara trip and was an excellent host too. We were really lucky to find a great trip organizer like her to help make our Kenya trip a memorable one.Written 23 August 2023

- 136beckyf0 contributionsTrip of a lifetime - perfection!Book with Flight & Safaris! We had a big group with a complicated itinerary, and everything was flawless! Winnie was great to work with throughout planning and on the ground. They took care of everything - transportation, lodging, activity reservations, meals, safari guides, even bathroom breaks! We were happy, comfortable and safe throughout the whole trip. All of their personnel were friendly, patient, and experts about everything we did. Don't hesitate to trust Flight & Safaris with your Kenyan adventures. They couldn't have been better for us.Written 7 July 2023
- M4133AZdenisl0 contributions3 days in Samburu, what a wonderful safariAll was wonder in Samburu, but if I have to put something above all, it would be this troop about fifteen elephants taking its mud bath quietly a few meters away from us and then leaving quietly to cross the river. It was also this departure at dawn to find the lions, following their paw prints all morning to finally see them at the end of the day in the middle of a nap, and also these majestic giraffes sticking out of the tree tops. And all the other animals (big and small). And the colors of the landscape ! What a contrast between the red earth of Samburu and the green of the vegetation (the rainy season had just started) ! And I could not have seen all this without my excellent driver-guide John, sharing his knowledge and his good mood ! Thanks to him.Written 12 May 2023
- niagol0 contributionsFantastic trip on nature and cultureI had some of the most unique experiences in my life in Amboseli and Masaai Mara and could only leave with a most positive opinion on Flight & Safaris Itl. Great service, great communication. Winnie was our host and made sure we felt welcomed in Nairobi. She arranged our trip and accommodation. Our guide was Jonathan, and was so kind to share some of his deep knowledge of plants, animals and the Kenyan environment and culture. Asante sana!Written 8 February 2023
- cheinelt0 contributionsSee the BIG 5 in their natural environment and much moreMy partner and I did a 4-day (including drives from/to Nairobi) safari to Maasai Mara with Flight & Safaris International. Our hotel in the Mara was the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. We can only recommend Flight & Safaris International from original contact, over planning, suggestions, and to execution of the Safari. The visit to Maasai Mara was something to remember a lifetime and something we will probably do again as soon as possible. The wildlife we saw were very much dependent on the experience of our driver Jonathan who knew where to find animals and how to explain what we found. He always synch'ed with other drivers on where to find things as well. As we went just after the big migration in off-season November, we were often alone in spots with our car and could enjoy seeing the animals without disturbing them too much. This way we saw lions every day as well as giraffes, elephants, all kinds of antelopes, many zebras and wildebeests, many hippos and crocodiles, and a rhino. We even had the pleasure of finding a cheetah. Don't forget the awesome sunsets and the best hotel in the Mara. Overall a mind-blowing experience facilitated by Flight & Safaris International.Written 8 November 2022

- muthusicarol0 contributionsAmazing experienceWe spent an amazing day with Jonathan touring Nairobi and later went to maasai mara for 3 days. It was an amazing experience with an extremely knowledgeable driver/guide. Jonathan not only made the experience memorable but his driving was impeccable especially on rough roads. I would highly recommend the services and booking safari through them.Written 18 August 2022
- 190ebbeb0 contributionsBest 3 nights in Masai Mara.My wife and I and our two young daughters went to Masai Mara for three nights. The trip was arranged by Winnie who books our tickets. We were picked up at our house in Naivasha by Osmas who was our guide and driver. Osmas was clearly experienced in the field and the kids liked him immideatly as he share his knowledge and even gave them challenges. The hotel was good, comfortable and great food. We sent our mornings on game drives and afternoons by the pool that the kids loved. We saw all the wildlife we wasted to see, but five minutes too late for the rhino but it wasn't for lack of trying. Osmas knows all there is. To know about Kenya and our wildlife as is a pleasent kind man and we appreciated that the kids were easy around him. We were baffled at how he spotted the last male lion and two leopard in the thicket. We were driven home safely and have a lot of fun memories. We would recommend Winnie and Osmas to anyone.Written 6 October 2021
- travelrach0 contributionsWonderful first safari experience - 6 days Masai Mara and Lake NakuruWent on a 6 day solo safari to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru in August 2021, and could not have asked for a better experience. Jonathan, the guide, was so knowledgeable about every animal and plant that we came across and skilled at seeing wildlife far off. and getting closer to animals without disturbing without disturbing them. His respect for the welfare and comfort of the wildlife we observed was commendable and I highly recommend him as a guide. I originally was thinking to travel in a tour van, and am glad to have gone with the land cruiser, as it allowed us to pass through some roads which would have been inaccessible otherwise. The amount of time (6 days) was perfect as we were not rushed and had plenty of time to see the Big 5 in addition to others, which really reduced any pressure to find animals. It also allowed for time to stop and watch whatever was happening around the vehicle. The lodges were lovely and spacious with excellent food, AA lodge was outside of Masai Mara, but very close to the reserve entrance, and Lake Nakuru Lodge was in the park itself, and allowed for animal watching from the room (binoculars needed). I will hopefully go on other safaris in Kenya, and when i do I will definitely go with Flight and Safaris International, again!Written 29 August 2021
- Dre4ever0 contributionsMt Kilimanjaro was the crown jewel of this tour!My driver Agak took me on an exciting adventure that I won’t soon forget. The highlight of this tour was definitely seeing Mt Kilimanjaro up close. I also went to a local village and got to see how the locals live and I even participated in a dance with them. I would definitely do this tour again with Agak as he was entirely safe with driving me around Amboseli and taking great photos for me.Written 27 February 2020
- Manofthehands0 contributions5 day safari starting in the masai mara with visits to lake nakuru, lake naivasha and hells gate. What can I say, right from the start, before we even arrived in kenya we had great comms from Winnie who we organised this safari with. She met us with our driver/guide to finalise a few details before we headed off on our adventure. Our driver/guide - the knowledgable, entertaining and very patient John, ferried us on our adventure and took our sense of humour and strange requests in his stride! (no need to post them here but if he reads this I'm sure he will put his head in his hands with a smile as he remembers!) The temptation to write everything that we saw and how we saw it is great but I do not want to spoil it. What I will say is that we saw pretty much everything from lions, cheetahs and leopards to elephants, giraffes hippos and rhinos (white and black). We saw them all at a far and upclose (right next to the van in a number of cases) but all wild and in the parks - not in centres (these can also be visited outside of the tour). The accommodation that we stayed in was great and better than we were expecting and we were well fed at the 3 different places we stayed. I think the only disappointment was that we could not walk the gorge at hells gate. Not through fault of the tour but due to the risk of flash floods because of the wet weather currently being experienced in Kenya. Overall a fantastic adventure that my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed! Hats off to Winnie and John for making our trip very memorable! 'Mama Cheetah' and MartinWritten 4 February 2020
