The entire team at Game Africa Safaris goes above and beyond to create an unforgettable trip for my friend and myself. I contacted them a bit last minute for a trip up to Old Pajeta and the Aberdare mountain range. We wanted to do three days two nights in Old Pajeta and three days two nights in the Aberdares rough camping. The answer was an immediate yes - they supplied us a quote (which was very reasonable for the time of year and the region) and made all the bookings. The safari vehicle was comfortable, driver safe and attentive and an excellent safari guide. Rough camping and treking in the Aberdare mountain range was equally as lovely and it was nice to be able to get to such a remote region where we saw very few people yet still feel safe and cared for. I've done a lot of trips like this and I an say Game Africa Safaris is one of the best companies I've encountered. I'm already planning another trip with them!

Thank you Ben and Game Africa Safaris! We truly had the most incredible time with Ben's support, kindness, and unwavering professionalism. We had a whirlwind 3 days in Nairobi (2 nights) and Ben accompanied us for the duration (from airport pick-up to drop-off). We visited the Giraffe Center, Elephant Orphanage, and had a great game drive in Nairobi National park. Ben was a pleasure to be with and shared his immense knowledge on Kenyan culture and of course the wildlife. The Jeep was great, very comfortable, and could accommodate our group of 5. We were not the easiest group considering we had a toddler in tow and our fair share of speedbumps, yet Ben had no problem adjusting to our needs. My 2-year old was ill for part of the trip and Ben was understanding when we needed to adjust plans or times. Our little one still points to his toy safari jeep and says "Ben is driving!" so he clearly made an impression on all of us. :) We are truly so thankful for an incredible trip, and Ben was a huge part of that. We embarked on a three-day trip to Nairobi with our extended family, which included a lively 2-year-old toddler. From the outset, Ben and his remarkable energy captivated us, proving to be the ideal guide we could have ever hoped for. Our itinerary included a Safari trip, a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, and the unique experience of feeding giraffes. Our guide, the incredible Ben, demonstrated an enormous amount of knowledge about the Safari and Nairobi in general. He made the entire journey exceptionally enriching. The safari Jeep was nothing short of amazing, and our 2-year-old nephew was so enamored with it that we had to purchase a small toy jeep similar to Ben's for him. The entire team, including Ben, exhibited professionalism. The payment process, communication, and planning were extremely smooth. I cannot express enough gratitude for Ben and his team. In fact, I was so impressed that I have decided to plan my bachelorette with them and plan to embark on a Mt. Kenya hike under their guidance. We spent four days with Ben Mathenge in the Maasai Mara this past Christmas and it couldn't have been better. My parents decided to visit from the U.S. for the holidays on somewhat short notice, so we weren't sure if we could pull together a good trip for them outside of Nairobi. Not only was Ben extremely responsive by email and text, but he came to our house in Nairobi to consult with us on our options and talk us through the pros and cons of various hotels and itineraries. In the end, we decided to let Ben handle the details. He negotiated with the Sarova Mara on our behalf, picked us up in his Landcruiser two days after Christmas, and then took us on two game drives a day while in the Maasai Mara conservancy. We were traveling with four adults and three kids (12, 8, and 1) -- Ben couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating around meals, naps, and souvenir shopping for us. His knowledge of the flora and fauna is amazing; an added bonus is that he's great company and a lot of fun to be around. We saw the Big Five, built up to the Big Nine, and even got to see a few cheetahs chase an antelope. We never took the same route twice while in the conservancy. We will definitely be using Ben's services again! P.S. We also booked a one-day drive in Hell's Gate near Lake Naivasha over Thanksgiving 2021. Game Africa's driver Daniel was also excellent!

There are so many good things to highlight regarding Game Africa Safari. First of all, Ben was super helpful to arrange the payment. We used Wise to reduce the transfer fees. Ben follow-up with us regularly before departure and at arrival in Kenya. He gave us advice on places to go, eat, and so on. We also had to book train tickets from Nairobi to Mombasa, which cannot be done without M-Pesa. Ben booked the tickets for us! That's 5 stars service. We did a 3-day / 2-night safari at Maasai Mara and stayed at the Sarova Mara Game Camp. This place was proposed and arranged by Game Africa Safari. It was great, very comfortable, had good food, and a central location for safaris. Ben was more than a guide and driver. He displayed a deep knowledge of the park, where to find games and spot them. Additionally, he's a pleasant person and you will not get bored! Game Africa Safari is a solid operator on the market and a company that you can trust.

If you are thinking about hiring Game Africa Safaris/Ben Mathenge for your next safari/Mount Kenya climb/other expedition, do it! You won't regret it! After living in Nairobi for 2 years, we had been thinking about climbing Mount Kenya for awhile, but was hesitant about whether we could find a company to support our group of 5 properly - all of whom have different requirements and are at different fitness levels. We are so, so, so glad that we chose Ben Mathenge of Game Africa Safaris. Ben/Game Africa Safaris came highly recommended among the US Embassy/American expat community in Kenya, and for good reason: during our 4-day trek, he meticulously organized all logistics (from 5-star food for every single meal, safe 4-wheel transport, making sure the camp was set up properly, the team of porters, the guides who were expertly explaining all the flora, fauna, culture/history, etc. of the area, the visit to Tree Trout Restaurant at the end of the trip). We started the trip with expert guides and a well-organized team and left as good friends. The icing on the cake was the ceremony at the end where he presented all of us certificates for successfully climbing Mount Kenya and we got to thank the entire team and take photos together. It was a very thoughtful conclusion to a life-changing trip. There were several aspects of the trip where we made special requests - from requesting to camp in tents due to the COVID context to adjusting the speed to ensure that everyone was going at their own pace and enjoying. Ben and his whole team were so adaptable. Even though Mount Kenya was one of the most challenging trips I have ever done, Ben's team was so encouraging and supportive the whole way. I cannot recommend Game Africa Safaris enough; they were incredibly professional and I will definitely seek their services for more trips in the future without hesitation. During our trip, there were 2 guides: Ben and Ben hired Nicholas. They were both great and their personalities complemented each other well. At least 1 or both accompany you on the trek, I highly recommend it.

Last December 2020, we had a guided tour of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Our guide was Ben of Game Africa Safaris. He is very knowledgeable... he has the information of all the animals there at his finger tips. He knows where to find the different animals. He takes his time to explain and answer all your questions. He is very friendly. I would recommend Ben to all my friends. I will definitely use him next time I need a guide.

We had an awesome time during the game drive at Buffalo springs and excellent customer care service from them. Will definitely do a trip with them once more.

My family has taken multiple safaris with Ben. He is an amazing guide and offers a door-to-safari experience so you don't have to worry about driving out to the parks or anything else. Ben is extremely knowledgeable about all the parks in Kenya as well as the fauna and animals who live there. Our daughter loved learning all about the wildlife from Ben. I cannot say enough good things about Ben and Game Africa.

We had the most SPECTACULAR experience with Ben a few weeks back: four days and three nights exploring Amboseli! Ben is exceptionally personable, professional, and knowledgeable. We felt entirely taken care of, and were super touched to see how sweet he was with our kiddos (2 and 5 years old). He shared his knowledge about the animals, was determined to show us the best parts of the parks, and had an eagle-eye for spotting wildlife. He knows great places to stay and eat. Ben is very knowledgeable about Kenyan animals, plants, and the roads. He was able to spot lions and giraffes other guides passed on the roads by understanding the wildlife and where they might hide given the weather conditions- that knowledge and his ability to track how far a lion could be based on a roar allowed us to see 4 lions!!! He’s very passionate and Kenyan wildlife. On our tour, the weather shut down roads due to water and because Ben knows the parks so we’ll, he was able to get us to our hotel despite 2 closed roads and a tree that blocked another route to our hotel. That proved to me having a guide with a good car and park knowledge is key. From a covid perspective, he had masks, sanitizer and kept cleaning his cruiser so I felt safe. He also went out of his way by showing us crescent island by going into multi gate entrances to get us on a boat to crescent island when he could have given up. I will book him again this week and recommend you do the same. Excited to know he can cover Tanzania and Uganda too.🤗🤗
