About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Shannieyss0 contributionsAmazing experience with guided tour!Jay is amazing! He texted us in the morning so that we can reach him when we arrived at the meeting point. And it was very crowded at the attraction despite a low season. We were able to pass thru the special lane without having to hustle with the huge domestic tour crowd. Jay is highly knowledgeable and I wouldn’t recommend a trip to forbidden city without a guide and sharing of the history and information. The story telling plays a crucial part to you having a great experience at the forbidden city. Do pack sunglasses, hat, snacks and water. The compound is huge. We stayed after the tour ended at 2pm and left to continue exploring till 4pm and still did not finish the whole place. Left very tired as didn’t have proper lunch. But it was worth it.Written 19 March 2024

We were then taken to a great buffet lunch and then the Great Wall. Sherry was teaching us so much along the way. Highly recommend this tour!Written 18 March 2024
- dragoslavs480 contributionsBeijingI had amazing tour with this agency, while I visited Beijing. I went to Forbidden city, Tiananmen square and Temple of Heaven. My whole tour was really well organized, from transportation, site seeing and going to restaurant trying some delicious Chinese food. Tour guide Jack, who were with me the whole time vas very nice, polite, knowledgable and happy to answer on all my questions! One unforgettable moment in Beijing, Thank youWritten 17 March 2024
- Tumbleweed730 contributionsGreat coverage, time well spentOur family of four had a really nice time being chauffeured around hot spots of Beijing at night. Our guide Hanson kept us informed of local and Chinese history as well as interesting tidbits and recommendations of local eats. Our driver “Mr. Cake” was savvy about pickup and drop off locations to maximize our experience. The tour was about 4 hours. We had had day tours before but the night tour allows you to see the city become alive at night with all of its noises and colors. My kids took most photos so my uploads do not represent all the stops. Highly recommend!Written 16 March 2024
- Rafail G0 contributionsA great way to experience the monumental Tiananmen square and Forbidden City! The 4h tour that our guide, Jay, offered was a very enjoyable experience of the monumental complex of the Tiananmen square and the Forbidden city. Jay is very friendly and gave us a great trip into the history of the place. We were given enough time to make pictures and have short breaks, which was great. A great plus was that as group we were able to skip the long ques of individual visitors and enter the complex without much waiting. I would therefore definitely recommend his tour as a way to experience Tiananmen square and the Forbidden city.Written 14 March 2024
- v_torpimenteldeolivv0 contributionsGreat tour with SherryThe private tour I had with Sherry, our tour guide, was great! She has a deep knowlodge of all these landmarks, and she was also very helpful and pacient with everything. She even arranged a great lunch with Peking Duck included! I really recomend this tour.Written 13 March 2024
- Travel108828495890 contributionsPick Jay as your tour guide for your next visitWe spent more than half of the day with our personal tour guide, Jay, who started the morning off by picking us up at our hotel. To get to Tiananmen Square we took the subway, which was our first time and Jay taught us how the system works. At each site — Tiananmen, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven, Jay took the time to explain each section patiently, and in detail. His knowledge of the history, context and to be able to answer questions, was incredible. Jay is also attentive to detail, he makes sure to get the client photos they needed, and knows of the best photo taking spots — and less busier sections of each site to head to. Even after the tour was over, Jay still answers any Beijing related questions we had over message, which really shows he goes the extra mile. I would definitely contact Jay again the next time I return to Beijing.Written 13 March 2024
- 698leannen0 contributionsPrivate tourWe were picked up by our tour guide (Jay) at our hotel and took the option to visit all the iconic places via subway and walking, this included Tian an men square, Forbidden city, and the temple of heaven. Jay was able to show us how to use the subway and provide us in depth knowledge and information about china’s history. We really appreciate Jay’s time and efforts to explain things to us and give us local knowledge and tips to support our stay in Beijing. Would recommend this tour!Written 13 March 2024

- irtravels0 contributionsFantastic Beijing Food Tour and MoreWe had a great time with Lucy on the Beijing food tour. We got to try a wide variety of interesting Chinese dishes, and had the option to be as brave as we wanted to be, without any pressure to eat anything we didn't want to. Lucy was a lot of fun to be with, she has excellent English and is an empathetic and highly knowledgeable host. We really enjoyed wandering around old Beijing with her, exploring the Hutongs, learning about the history and culture as well as the food. We highly recommend this tour and Lucy as a guide.Written 11 March 2024

- Connie F0 contributionsGreat way to see and learn china historyThis was a great tour. Clair, our tour guide, and with ching, our driver. We started early with Panda House, and all the pandas were active. Clair moved us through lines easily and pointed us to best places for photos while telling us the nature and history of the pandas. Next to the summer palace. My son wanted to climb to the top so Clair purchased the extra tickets and escorted him to the top. Clair was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. For lunch we decided on dumplings and ate with locals. Great food. 👍 back on the road to the temple of heaven. The day is extensive walking with stairs so wear comfortable shoes. Thank you to Clair and ching for a wonderful day.Written 11 March 2024

This was a great trip and Lucy was a fantastic guide. First of all, Lucy called the hotel the day prior to ensure we were prepared for our tour.
She met us in the lobby of our hotel on the morning of our trip. Once introduced we went out to the vehicle where the driver was waiting.
We were driven to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall - the drive was approx 1 1/2 hours and Lucy spent this time talking to us about the history of China, the Wall and so much more.
Once at the Wall she picked up our tickets for the lift to the top and toboggan ride back down.
We spent a few hours exploring the wall all the way to guardpost 1 and back towards guardpost 20.
Once we were done we took the toboggan down, loaded the car and went to lunch about 20 minutes away.
We had an amazing, traditional Chinese lunch experience. Lucy asked if we had any food allergies or objections to sharing a traditional meal - we did not have issues or objections.
We shared dishes of pork, beef, chicken and dumplings and all of us thought it was fresh and delicious.
After lunch we continued our drive to the Summer Palace where we walked with Lucy for 1.5 hours throughout the grounds of the Summer Palace. Again Lucy spent the entire time talking to us about the history and culture of this site.
On our return to the hotel we were able to stop briefly for a view of several buildings from the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
We had a fantastic time touring these sites and would highly recommend Lucy - she’s prompt, polite, extremely knowledgeable and very nice.

This is a great tour that I can highly recommend. I was picked up by Vivian (my guide for the day) and the driver at my hotel at 8 am, and we went straight to Summer Palace. Unfortunately, it rained heavily that day, but that didn't deter us from exploring the palace grounds. Vivian was a great guide - extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and she took pictures of me wherever she thought would be good. She took care of tickets, and she took the time to really go into the details of China's history. After around two hours of exploring Summer Palace, we were picked up again by the driver and the next stop was a lunch place on the way towards the Great Wall. They took me to a restaurant in a smaller town, and Vivian ordered a nice variety of dishes. The food was just amazing. We then drove to the Great Wall where we took a cable car to the top and walked on the wall for a while. Despite the mist and rain it was truly impressive and I felt lucky not to have too many tourists around. Again, Vivian took several great pictures of me. Once we were back down, Vivian and the driver took me back to my hotel. Overall, this is the best way of exploring these sights, and everything was well organized, and both Vivian and the driver were great people to spend the day with.

We had a great time visiting and learning about these 2 historical places of China from our very knowledgeable guide, Sherry, and our friendly driver, Mr Sun. They constantly looked out for us during the entire trip, even when my friend wanted to get some fresh fruits, they found a stall nearby for her to get some. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fuss free, everything in tour of these 2 iconic sites in one day!

Sherry and the driver arrived at hotel earlier than booked, so we were able to get to the Munianyu Great Wall when it was still empty. During the trip, Sherry explained a little about the history and what we would be seeing at the location. Arriving at the Mutianyu section of the wall, she accompanied us making everything easy. We then visited a tea house and went for lunch at a very nice traditional restaurant with the best tofu I've ever had. We then travelled back to Beijing to visit the Summer Palace. Again Sherry shared a little about the history and what we would see at the location. She accompanied us through the entire tour explaining in detail each spot of the palace. It was a great day!

This was a very memorable experience for me touring the Summer Palace and Great Wall with my guide Cynthia. She had a great energy, depth of knowledge to share and excellent English. It was also really a pleasure to converse and exchange views with her on many topics while on the move. I liked the driver as well and lunch was delicious.
I highly recommend the program to anyone seeking to experience the most important places in Beijing in a day.

Wow! What an amazing day we had with Qing, who took us to the wall and the summer palace. She told us awesome stories, gave us great tips for going around Beijing, took really cool photos (she knows all the best spots), and was so nice and professional. A huge thank you to her and our driver who made our short trip to see the wall 100% worth every penny. I can’t wait to come back and see more!
