Lovely trip, smooth pick up and very friendly driver. Matthew was great, took us for breakfast and helped us order. Had our own time at the wall and just kept in touch over WeChat. We spent a good 3hrs on the wall, wondering around. Highly recommend booking through these, simple and straight forward. We always read up about the history of the wall so it was nice to just have our own time there. Matthew helped us with checking in and where to go and a little info about the route you can take up there. We did the ropeway up and for an extra cost the Toboggan back down. Definitely the best way to go. Thank you for a fantastic morning. We selected the 7am pick up, highly recommend, as we were it was starting to get very busy.

The whole trip was well organized. Our driver Mr. Guo picked us up at the airport on time, checked us in at the great wall and waited for us at a restaurant close to the parking. He even drove us to the hotel afterwards. Perfect, thank you!

We decided against a tour guide and just booked a driver. We were really happy with that choice as Jimmy spoke brilliant English and we had a great time on the drive there and back discussing life in general in China. It was actually really great information. Jimmy was a legend! Also, leave as early as possible. We left at 6.30am, beat rush hour traffic and were the only people on the wall when we got there at 8am. That was so amazing to be on there on our own in peace and quiet. Worth the early get up.
