Cindy Chen, my guide, was outstanding from start to finish—coordinating pickup at my hotel with the driver, sharing fascinating history during the drive, and ensuring I had an unforgettable visit. The Mutianyu section was absolutely stunning. Cindy went above and beyond, helping me capture photos at key viewpoints and making the experience seamless. One of the highlights was the toboggan ride, which was such a memorable and unique way to end the visit. Both Cindy and the driver were exceptionally friendly and kind, making me feel completely at ease. This tour exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it. Li Qingshan was amazing! He promptly picked us up to begin our trip to the Great Wall, and even provided fruit, water and other snacks for the trip. He was very, friendly and informative and wanted to make our experience a memorable one. He gave us a lot of information about The Great Wall and Beijing and I would highly recommend using his services.

Our driver Mr. Sun Qianfang advised us to go to Mutianyu instead of Badaling because the company knew the traffic was crowded. It was the right choice. Our driver was kind, careful and informative. He helped purchase our cable car tickets so we had no mishaps and he even dropped us off near Shichahai where we wanted to go. . The Great Wall at Mutianyu was beautiful in the perfect weather and not as crowded as we expected. Thank you Mr. Sun!

The tour is ideal to explore attractions outside Beijing. We meet our driver in the hotel lobby, he was nice, efficient and professional. Starting at 6.30 allowed us to be the first coming to the Great Wall, and we could explore it without any other people. Impressive! I really recommend this tour and the driver Ge Yong.

unforgettable experience in this lifetime - our tour guide Luis was fantastic and helped our young daughter a lot - he is super knowledgeable , understands and has experience with kids and adults fitness levels and knows the hike and sites back to front - all the views and photo ops were captured - historically he knew every corner and knew how to explain the historical context Luis then took us to a farmers restaurant for lunch / we were slow and late due to our kids being very young and Luis was very understanding - the farmers family was so friendly and lovely - I loved interacting with the lady restaurant owner !!!! The trip back was also super smooth This is a highly recommended tour with no crowds at all and just peace and glorious scenery as well as a moderate workout for those with a reasonable fitness level - might be hard if you are normally a couch potato !!! We certainly felt glutes hamstring and core having been challenged the next day!!!

Gao and Huang were both super nice and made the trip fun and comfortable. Huang was also a photo pro and helped me take the best pictures of myself on the wall!! If you're headed to the Great Wall definitely don't miss out on going with these guys.

I couldn’t recommend this enough! Having a private transfer like this will save you so much time and headache. I had the best day thanks to my driver, Gao Da Peng. He helped me gey there on time, then organised my ticket for me. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a good time. When I returned to my car, he even had a bunch of drinks and snacks ready for me. This was a special day for the memory book 🙌

Huang is the best guide, he knows everything about the history of china and about the Wall, is very funny, i did enjoy a lot the Wall with him, i recommend 100% !! He was on time, the car driver also was very good.

We really enjoyed this trip! Even though our driver Han Wei didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Chinese, we could communicate through a translation device. Han made sure the whole trip was comfortable. The views on the wall are beautiful and many spots are private. Also Han recommended a nice place to eat and it was delicious. Amazing experience!

It was an amazing day to the wall of China at Jinshanling at sunset. We had a very luxerious car and a great driver: Tian Wei. He bought our tickets and kept in contact during our walk on the wall. It was a great experience

The driver was very helpful en kind and was on time in the lobby of our hotel. Although he couldn’t speak English, with the translation device we could communicate easily. The 2 sections off the Great Wall were very nice. Would recommend.

The private drive trip from Beijing to Gubei Water Town was such an easy and comfortable excursion, and well worth it. Our driver Joe (晴阔天空) was friendly and knowledgeable, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable journey. He provided us with water and snacks, and had phone charging and wifi available in his van. He took care of the entrance tickets for Gubei Water Town and the cablecar access to the Simatai Great Wall. He sent a QR code to my phone and we simply showed that at each entrance. The great thing about booking this trip is that the order of itinerary is really up to you. It's a 2-hour drive from Beijing, same on the return. When our driver sent us through the entrance gate, he simply asked us to tell him what time we wanted to leave at the end of the night, and even this was flexible, as we could text him. We arrived at the Water Town around 5pm, and headed to the cable car entry. Note that the cable car does not run to the Wall for the evening session until 6pm, but the queue begins to form around 5:30pm. We spent approximately an hour up on the wall, and then returned by cable car to the town. We then spent an enjoyable 1-2 hours walking through the town which is picturesque at every turn, and were treated to a drone show as well as views of the illuminated Great Wall. Found a spot for a very tasty meal, and returned to the van when we were ready, which was around 9pm. It was enough time, but we could have easily enjoyed another hour to walk around the town because it is so lovely. Most tours for this itinerary include an overnight stay. I can see why it would be lovely to stay in the water town for the night, but if you don't have the time, this tour is really all you need. Don't be daunted by not having a guide--our driver took care of everything we needed and made our trip a pleasure!

Our driver and guide Mr Li Quingshan collect us in his extremely comfortable vehicle where he had drinks and snacks waiting for us. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The trip itself is definitely worth the 2-2.5 hour drive to see the picturesque water town and watching the sun set on the Simatai Great Wall is a memory I will never forget. Lots of 'wow' moments. Absolutely stunning. The photos don't do it justice. A 5 star trip all round. Thank you Mr Li.
