We had a 8 hour layover in Beijing. Everyone told us that we would risk missing our flight if we tried to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, but we decided to give it our best shot. We downloaded the DiDi app, which is like China's Uber, and went on a hour long ride to the base of the Great Wall. Once we got there, we had to get on another shuttle to get to the gate. Then, we got on a ski lift, which felt incredibly unsafe and risky, that took us to the top of the wall. It was early in the morning and there was no one else there. We took our pictures, walked along the wall, and marveled at how beautiful the view and the wall itself was. The wall was covered with millipedes by the way, if you're scared. They've installed a slide that you can go down to get to the bottom of the Wall, but that looked too unsafe to try. We were able to just barely make it back in time to catch our flight. It was so worth it!

I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who has a limited amount of time and Chinese is not your native language. From the first inquiry email we sent Harry, he demonstrated extreme professionalism and punctuality. His communication and guidance leading up to our visit were top notch. Harry provided us a full day tour itinerary and sorted out all of our tickets and entry details prior to our arrival. So once we arrived, it was a simple pick up and off we went on our full day of site seeing and playing tourist. Harry coordinated trips to the following: -Tiananmen square -Imperial palace -Forbidden city -Authentic Chinese noodles for lunch -Great Wall (W/ tobogan ride down) Throughout the entire tour Harry shared his knowledge on the sites and offered to take multiple photographs for us. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I strongly recommend this tour.

We had a short visa-free layover in Beijing and were able to enjoy a comfortable day heading to the Great Wall Mutianyu. Pickup at our hotel was prompt and we were able to bring our luggage since we were being dropped off at the airport directly. Everything about the trip was great - the drive was stress free, the Great Wall was a astonishing, and we were even able to get some delicious local food at a small in near the wall.

We had a layover in Beijing on Air China on our way to Thailand. My sister had the same layover last fall and had gone to the Great Wall. I actually looked into the tour she did, but picked Harry instead due to his great trip advisor reviews. Harry is the best! He was waiting for us at the airport, right where he said he would be and was ready to go! Harry is so nice, polite and will talk as much or as little as you want. He knew the answers to all of our questions, and was a great driver. It was very hot when we were there (over 100 F!) so it was nice to be in his air conditioned van. We also went to The Forbidden Palace and Harry was super helpful in navigating Beijing, getting us tickets and recommending a delicious, local Peking duck restaurant that we never would have been able to go to without him since we don’t speak Chinese! We will always treasure our visit to the Great Wall and seeing Beijing. It really is an amazing experience to walk along the Great Wall. Truly gorgeous. And we have Harry to thank for taking photos of us!

I had a 12h layover in Beijing, arriving 5 in the morning and leaving 5 in the afternoon. I got in contact with Harry and he took me on a private tour to the Great Wall. Pick up at airport on time and about 1½ hour drive to the wall, we got there just when they opened so I was the first one up that day. Truly amazing to be on the wall more or less on your won for the first 30 minutes. Weather was hot and humid this day so I only spend 2h up on the wall before returning. Harry was waiting for me when I got down again and drove me back to the airport. Harry speaks English well and took me safely to the wall and back to the airport in his mini van. I can definitely recommend booking a trip with Harry if you need a private driver in Beijing.

Three of us booked a bespoke tour of the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Ming Tombs (Dingling and the Sacred Way), after I had spoken to Harry on WeChat beforehand, which made the process smooth and simple. Harry picked us up from our hotel (which was not particularly accessible in a small hutong, with most taxis refusing to go down the alley), arriving early and kindly providing us with water in his comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. He took us to an authentic Chinese breakfast canteen on the way to the Great Wall, and rode with us on the bus and ski lift to the top of Mutianyu, where he gave us a historical introduction before leaving us to our climb. We returned after a few hours and he was waiting for us at the main building. He then drove us to the Dingling Tomb, waiting for us once more, before dropping us off at one end of the Sacred Way and meeting us at the other end, to save us walking back. He then dropped us back at our hotel, and was professional in sorting out the costs for the day, which was an incredibly reasonable price for the amount of driving and activities we had packed in. We were so impressed with his careful driving, and polite and efficient service that we booked him for our airport transfer later in the week. Once again, he was prompt and professional, driving a lot more carefully than many other Beijing drivers, and got us to our terminal in excellent time. Overall, I think all three of us would highly recommend Harry to any travellers in Beijing. I was particularly pleased with the fact that he allowed us to have a bespoke tour, as we couldn't find any other company which offered Mutianyu and the Ming Tombs in an easy, one-day combination.

Our flight arrived very late and our driver, Mrs. Jinling, was super understanding that we had to push back the time a couple of times and patient with two little kids who only had three hours sleep! She took great care of us and we were able to see the beauty of the Great Wall with no hassle! Great way to end our three weeks in China! I definitely recommend this tour if you have small kids!
