Very wonderful experience with China Xian Tour Agency. The trip was well planned and organized for a group 12 of us by Sophia from Xian Tour.

We customized our 11 days Xian Silkroad tour with China Xian travel and Sophia as our main contact through WhatsApp. The trip went well with all details pre-arranged by Sophia including 3 guides, 3 drivers, internal flights, meals, accommodations for 10 of us. The tour guides and coach drivers are friendly, professional and experienced. The coaches we traveled in are generally clean and comfortable, although the Chengdu bus can be better. Restaurants in the cities are good with wide spread of local food for us to try. Overall a good experience with China Xian Tour, highly recommended.

I booked a private tour for Xi'an and Shanghai for three people, with a private car and english-speaking tour guide. Everything was very well arranged and according to plan. Both of the hotels were very nice and well located. We had some free time in our tour plan as well, and it was quite easy to walk around and visit other places from our hotels. The tour guides were very kind and gave us a lot of information about the cities, specially about historical facts, something we were really interested about, and also gave us great tips for our time in China, and also for shopping. The experience overall was excellent, and I would highly recommend China Xian Tour if you would like to have a comfortable experience and just enjoy the city without any worries.

We did the One-day Terracotta Warriors and Cave Houses Tour Very easy organisation with the company. The guide was incredible with his skills to bring us to the best parts while skipping the very long and hot queues. He gave very interesting information. The Terracotta Army of course is the highlight, but we also loved the tranquillity of the Hanyangling Mausoleum. The cave houses though could be missed (they are renovated, I have seen much better elsewhere in the world) but it’s a short stop so ok.

We (family from The Netherlands) want to share our appreciation to Sophia who arrange our trip, the China Natural Wonders Discovery tour. Everyting was well arranged and went smooth regarding guides, drivers, hotels, transportation, etc during our 15 days roundtrip (Beijing/Xi'an/Chengdu/Zhangjaijie/ Guilin/Yangshuo/Shanghai). Nothings was too much, everything what we want to arranging during the tour, last minute adjustments due to changes in our (cancelled) flight but also additional requests were possible during our stay in China. Traveling was smooth with the drivers and the help of the guides. All of them were so helpful, friendly. Getting on the train or flight and the instructions for next pickup point were to meet the new driver and guide were clear. Planning upfront with the guide what time we suppose to leave in the morning, if we prefer to do an intensive hike or smooth, everything was possible to discuss. Guides were well educated and knew how to avoid the crowd, lots of experience and were easy to understand in English. Probably we will come back to China to visit some other places and we will contact Sophia again to help us to organize the trip. I'm a control freak myself so if I say it was well arranged, you can count on that and my review says more than enough. Richard and family

Ken is an awesome Guide. The Trip was a TripleA Experience in terms of quality, time and budget: He answered profoundly a lot of questions, has a deep knowledge and understanding of the chinese culture and shared this with us. He is patient and flexible in enabling his customers demands. His ‚pathfinding‘-abilities in overcrowded situations are gorgeous He is reasonable in his pricing and has passion in his profession. We spent a great day in Xi’an with Noble from Joy Travel visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Temple and the Terracotta Army site. The sites we visited were amazing. Our guide Noble was very knowledgeable of history and culture of Xi’an, including its many royal dynasties and emperors. He was great at engaging kids and made the trip fun for them; as well as very resourceful when we needed food and other things. Highly recommend!

We booked our summer break with China Xian Tours/Joy Travel again. This time we flew to Xining to ride the world’s highest train to Lhasa from where we continued on a private tour via Xigaze, Mount Everest Base Camp, and Jilong to Kathmandu. Sophia from Joy Travel was as usual most helpful providing different options, adjusting the travel plan to our needs, arranged the Tibet travel visa, hotels, and managed to get us the hard to acquire tickets for the train. She is always ready to respond quickly to inquiries or assist when needed. The local team of driver and guide she arranged for us were very skilled and personal, making the long drives along the amazing landscapes and temples a real joy, and educational. We look forward to a next time we can explore China with this organization.

We went on a 8 day private tour from Xining to Dunhuang. Thanks to Sally (guide from Xining to Qinghai) and Adam (guide from Zhangye to Dunhuang), we had the most memorable trip to North Western part of China. The guides provided insight on the history of the places/attractions, brought us to the best local restaurants, queued for entrance tickets and made sure that we were comfortable and safe the entire trip.

Zhangjiajie was AMAZING!!!! Landscapes from another world. And our tour guide Lily was super knowledgeable but also very kind and funny. We had an amazing time. Also I really recommend Joy Travel & China Xian Tour as they were really helpful to tailor the the trip to our wants and need and organize it from abroad! I recommend 100%

It was amazing to use China Xian Tour services. First, I needed ticket to The Song of Everlasting Sorrow and I couldn’t find anywhere. I promise a friend that I would se this show, so Rui tried her best to find tickets for me. She organized everything from my pick up at the hotel to the tickets that were almost sold out. She got me one of the last tickets. I watched the 00:25h session! The driver was really good and he even waited for me at the hotel, since I fell asleep before the show! Shame one me! A few days before the show, I got sick! So, Rui helped me with some translations since I didn’t have anyone that could help me. So, contacting China Xian Tours… you get a really good tour company, but you also get some help if you need. I enjoyed every single minute of my experience with them. I do recommend their service!

As always Sophia from Joy Travel organized a wonderful private trip to Shangri La in Yunnan, it was a very complete experience, with a lot of knowledge with Pema as our excellent guide and Mrs. Li as driver

I went with a friend to Xi’an and we only had one day to visit. Ken was great! He took us to see all the key places, including the Terra-cotta Warriors. Super knowledgeable, very charismatic and and just a joy to have as a tour guide! He also took us to eat local food and gave us great tips for our next destination. Would 100% recommend!
