Towards the end of our time in China, we had arranged a guided tour of the forbidden City. Wish we had done that for one of the first days! It was truly an amazing experience with guide Kevin, who went out of his way to answer questions, provide an entertaining and informative tour. Rightfully so, a comprehensive tour would take days or weeks of the forbidden City, but Kevin stuck to the most interesting and key parts, making an amazing memory for my children and family. Worth every penny!

Very nice tour with our guide Jay. It was really interesting to learn about Tiananmen square and the forbidden City. Jay is very knowledgeable, and won't hesitate to answer any of your questions, regarding the sites or other attractions in the city. We had about 1h in Tiananmen square and 3h for the forbidden City. The complexe is so big and there's so many things to say about it that it feels like you need more time, but our guide asked at the end if anyone wanted to stay longer (no one did, it was already quite a long visit). It was off peak season so we were a small group, and it was not too crowded. We also went to some nicely isolated places away from the main sites. I recommend 👍

The trip was absolutely brilliant. Navigating Tianamen and the Forbidden city is now almost impossible without a guide. She was absolutely dedicated, informative, flexible and even went the extra-mile by providing all the support I needed to go after the tour to 798 Art District. 5 Star. Highly recommended!

Was well informed by Vivian on the day prior to the visit about meeting point, potential traffic jams and the clothes to wear (even for an Austrian familiar with winter time staying 4hours in the cold can be a challenge). Vivian gave us a good introduction into the royal family and the ancient traditions. She showed us the highlights of the forbidden city and made us familiar with the differences in style of the different palaces/buildings. We were able to visit a recently opened building with museum where we could see treasures made of jade. She pointed us to the best spots to take pictures and helped us to catch the scenery. Vivian is as true expert and enthusiastic in her job. She took good care of us during the visit and it was an enjoyable tour- I can only highly recommend. I made a mistake on my initial booking and the company managed to transfer back the money in no time. Excellent customer service.

I can highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was Sherry who spoke excellent English. She was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great explanation of the history and the architecture. Sherry also helped us understand modern Chinese history and culture and how people think about and respect these historic sites today. We were collected from our hotel in a very nice car and driven to and collected from each location and were also taken for a very nice lunch in a great restaurant with lots of food (included in the package). A great benefit of booking a guided tour with an accredited tour guide is that you skip all the queues for security which can be very long. At the end of the day we were dropped back at our hotel . A great service, and a very memorable day. Thank you sherry!
