About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- david4922820 contributionsGreat tours and "At Home" inspectionsThe walks are a great way to see Sydney and its key suburbs. Tour guides explain the significant buildings in non expert terms. The "At Home" inspections of specific architect designed houses are also excellent and recommended too!Written 1 March 2025
- 619jeffry0 contributionsChina's soldiers worked on Great WallThe Great Wall of China can be seen at Badaling, where the Wall is a memorial that goes back many hundreds of years. Visitors can walk along the top of the Great Wall, which is made of rock and bricks. The Great Wall was designed to keep out foreign warriors. Chinese soldiers worked on the Great Wall, which runs from North to South. When visiting, outsiders can also see the Ming Tombs, which are associated with the Ming Empire. The Great Wall is popular with tourists who visit Beijing.Written 1 March 2025
- Global800550 contributionsBrilliant TourThis was one of the best tours I was on, Lisa was the tour guide and was so knowledgeable that it was great! The tour fell around the Lunar new year so it was extremely busy and Lisa was able to use her influence to move me up the queues, especially at the Great wall. Would definitely recommend this tour to anybody.Written 3 February 2025
- Markadlz0 contributionsAdequate tour ruined by total lack of care when needed! This tour provides what it promises and covers the three desribed highlights well. The time at each location is appropriate and we were spared from additional "shopping opportunities". (I hoped that this would be the case given the relatively high price.) However, something we had at lunch really, really did not agree with my wife! I will share you the details but we did not have a good trip back from the Graet Wall which is quite a long jouney. These things do happen, however, the total lack of care from our guide is not acceptable. My wife was very, very clearly in need of help and we received nothing. No offer of water, no offer to stop from a short while. Nothing! I have been in communication with the local contact and received an "apology" and a plan to look at staff training. This really is not good enough. You don't need special training to show your guests some basic care. I have written many reviews on TA and always tried to give providers the benefit of the doubt, especially when they have tried to deal with any challenges. This though did go way beyond that!Written 26 January 2025

- 625pavlinab0 contributionsDay trip with JennyMy mother and I went on this tour and I have to say that we really enjoyed ourselves. First was Tiananmen square and then crossed the road to Forbidden city. Lots of walking done there. 10000 steps... Done! If you're central, they can pick you up from hotel, comfy little minibus with a/c. Then we had a lovely tea ceremony with the option to buy anything there... Lots of amazing choices including tea sets, mugs, teas, glasses etc then we headed off to the Jade factory which was really impressive, the carvings, the amount of work that goes into each piece... Wow! Lunch was next and it was really delicious. There were things to buy and look at... I really liked the wax figures dotted around. Hop onto bus and head to the Great Wall... Again impressed with the magnitude of it and we didn't even scratch the surface of the climb. And you have to imagine each stone being put into place... Speechless. The cable car ride there and back was an extra 125yuan? İ think... But worth it. Our guide Jenny was really super nice, super knowledgeable and loved to joke around. Could've stopped along the way but everyone decided they were too tired to do anything except go back to their hotels. Great day out, thanks Jenny. Love from Oz (your new grandmother) 😊Written 1 January 2025
- Trail564964953670 contributionsThe best tripEverything was wonderful, kind attitude, willingness, everything perfectly planned. After the agreement, it was no problem to pick us up at the airport and they took us to the agreed place according to the schedule. In addition to the planned places, we also went to a tea tasting and a place with real pearls with the possibility of shopping, The price also includes a very good buffet lunchWritten 16 December 2024

- E7956SMmartinb0 contributionsGreat value, excellent guide, a full day of fun, history and shots for the album. As Nike would say... just do it!Our tour guide, Mary Wang, was the first highlight of this excellent tour. The car was spacious, clean and comfortable... perfectly suited to the relatively short trip. The experience on the wall was pure magic (breathtaking in each sense of the word! We saw some people struggling for air). The chairlift to the top was a little surprising as it had been described as a cable car, but certainly better than the alternate long hike hike up to the Wall. The luge ride was OK, but too many people all going very slowly so the "thrills" were missing. Beware if you're over 60... they'll check most "older" looking passports and send you off to ride back down on the chairlift if they see you are 60 or over. A lot of people were very frustrated having queued in the cold for a long time, only to be sent away in disappointment. Our guide, Mary, made sure I got through without a passport cheque, although the guard complained that he, too, was being monitored and would be scolded for not checking. A surprisingly fun, happy and informative day, made all the better for Mary's cheery, intelligent and sensitive commentary and professional guiding skills. And super value for money. PS: we were surprised to meet two guys who had travelled from Beijing Capital airport for this tour instead of waiting out a 9 hour stop over at the airport... we didn't know that could be done and will certainly take note for future long layovers.Written 23 November 2024

- 619jeffry0 contributionsTake a trip along China's Great WallChina's Great Wall is a barrier against foreign soldiers entering mainland China, who are described as barbarians. Access to China by northern soldiers were countered the Great Wall, manned by Chinese forces. The construction of the Great Wall of China began in 221 BC and continued off and on until the establishment of the Ming Dynasty (1360-1644 AD). These days, visitors can take a trip to Badaling from Beijing and take a walk along the Great Wall of China that still exists today.Written 9 November 2024
