Gusde - our Balinese tour guide
I would like to say thank you to our lovely tour guide Gusde. You made our experiences in both Ubud and Sanur so memorable. Your attention to detail and the way you personalised our siteseeing tours was very much appreciated. You were prompt in meeting us at specified times always with a smile on your face. You interacted with the three children and gave us a wonderful insite into Balinese life. Thank you so much.

        Recommended Way to Gili T
On the whole, a great way to get to Gili T. You are well looked after from start to finish with your bags taken care of as soon as you arrive. Relatively comfortable inside and you are given the opportunity to sit on the outside roof area, with drinks and snacks available for purchase. The only reason I have not put 5 stars is that it was late both ways when we travelled.

        Recommend every time
Totally excellent. Handled so well and professionally from pickup in Ubud to drop off in Gili Air we didn’t touch luggage. Water given as we got on. Not crazy crowded. Comfy seats and excellent AC.

Uluwatu Sunset Kecak Dance & Jimbaran Seafood Dinner
First, the driver and the tour guide were both Great! BUT the sunset dinner was absolutely horrible, and I believe it was planned! I don’t know if it was planned by the owner or the restaurant. Here’s why: 1. The lobster was super dry and you had to scrape it from the shell with your fork, which was a daunting and extremely messy task to say the least. 2. The fish was EXTREMELY boney. When I say extremely I mean it was the worst fish I have EVER been served in a restaurant, and there was virtually no meat!! I grew up poor and I am not fancy. I am a working class guy, so don’t think this comes from a place of arrogance. I just have never been served such a horrible meal in a restaurant! Never! 3. THERE’S NO WAY that restaurant serves anything like the food they gave us to local people!!! NO WAY or they would be out of business. They chose to give us what appeared to be overcooked boney scraps because either the tour company gave them a spending limit or the restaurant did it behind the tour company’s back. I personally believe it’s the former. I can’t imagine any business would serve that crap to customers! However, I still gave the server a really good tip. Again, the driver and the tour guide were great, but the dinner was an absolute rip off. If you are looking for a good dinning experience, I would avoid this tour with this company. I’ve been on food tours in multiple cities in the United States, Mexico, Malaysia, and Costa Rica. This was the absolute worst food I’ve ever had! Buyer Beware!

Waste of time and money !
Just returned from visiting upside down world with my husband and grand daughter.. What a complete and utter waste of money, $25 entrance fee and if you walked really slowly it would take you 5 minutes to go thru the whole experience. Dont waste you money or time, its just a load of crappy furniture screwed to the ceilings.

        Just ok
Ok and got some good photos. Admission cost expensive for what you get at 100000 per adult. Is a bit out of the way but other things nearby if you combine the trip

A fun family adventure with a slight twist!
The light show at the entrance was amazing and my kids absolutely loved it. My son and I took the roller coaster which was terrifying in a good way as well as the rapids ride. Frank's house was very strange and they did well to jump scare us while we were in there. Unfortunately my three year old was so shocked she jumped on my wife and ended up hurting her back! Funny on hindsight but not so great when your back has a twinge. But overall a positive and fun experience.

        Give it a miss...
The venue was run down with very little visible maintenance. Everything felt dirty, from entering off the street to going through the facility. The rest rooms were disgusting with some functions inaccessible and urine all over the seat, no soap, and no sanitiser. At the end of the 20-minute walk through, we did walk away with some great photos, which was the only positive part of the experience. Also, on the online booking, we were only able to book for 4 adults. On arrival, THEY pointed out that we were 2 adults, 2 children, and children were only 50k each. I explained that booking process did not offer children @ 50k. They refused the 100k refund with a guilty chuckle saying we should have paid at the venue rather than online! After visiting the mens room on our way out, I pointed out that there was no soap or handwash or sanitiser in the men's room. They smiled and said Yes. Lol, what a crock. Photos were good, though. Won't be going back.

Perfect crossing to Gili M, on time and straight forward. Air conditioned and comfortable. My pick up went perfectly, with Aristana being on time, polite, professionally dressed and safe driving. Highly recommend

        Do not buy
Denied refund by East Indonesia Tours. I cancelled these tickets with 3 weeks notice and was still denied a refund. Tripadvisor have also not allowed me to get a refund. Do not buy these - you can get them cheaper at the park anyway.

Huge potential- but poor info and communication. Still worth the time and money.
Highlights were food, kind staff, the amazing bats flying over the boat, and of course, the Komodo Dragons. Downside was poor scheduling info (we were told we would be done in time to get a certain flight, but in truth, there was no way it could be done and it cost us a ton to get a private taxi boat back to the airport. We tried for hours to change our flight (had paid extra for flexible option) but did not hear back from Booking.com nor were we given any option to reschedule by Batik Air. Bad karma!

        Amazing performance
The dance was very entertaining and unique. I was with my friend and his wife. The show was very beautiful and my guide was able to teach me many things about the Indonesian culture. Dance was like nothing I have ever seen before and I highly recommend this for people that want to learn about cultures around the world.

Took an independent guided tour here earlier today.
      What an amazing place👍

Buy some small bananas off the guides and the monkeys will love you and happily scoot with them for a bite to eat👍

Great place to go, - just be mindful of the rules within the Monkey Forest however.

In the forest itself it is very beautiful, but the monkeys themselves are not so friendly, especially the big ones, thank God no one monkey did not jump on our head, otherwise I think it would not be very pleasant, they fight among themselves sometimes that looks too scary, I would not advise going there with small children and would not go there a second time, but little monkey kids are very cute and safe.

Really enjoyed visiting the monkey forest, watching them was incredible. But what is wrong with people? The amount of litter absolutely everywhere was completely disgusting, such a shame that a people are so disrespectful and b the park does not employ people to pick this litter up. They were more worried about selling you a photo with a monkey sitting on your shoulder than anything else. Apart from that it was great to watch these amazing animals especially the babies of which there were many. Definitely worth a visit but you’ll have to turn a blind eye to the litter.

Great day with our guide. He was very knowledgeable. The monkeys were awesome. At Tanah Lot our guide had us wait as everyone left after the sun had set to see the thousands of bats that flew out of the caves along the shore. Book for sure it was great.

It’s a must see place the most well behaved monkeys I’ve ever seen wondering around the forest of their own! I was skeptical at first from reading some reviews about some negative remarks about the monkeys but I’m thankful I went to see for myself! It’s a beautiful forest where monkeys call it their own kingdom!

i went this garden with our tour leader , is very beautiful place , monkey was every where , you shouldn't look at monkey eyes because they come to you and touch you and never give them food too . they live there free , i recommend this garden to see.

Went to monkey forest via Buffalo Tours. What a great place, monkeys are SO tame. You are advised at start of tour not to look monkeys in eye, as this means a challenge to them. The monkeys are, apparently, fed six times a day so do not try and scrounge food off visitors. There is also a show available to attend where they tell an ancient story. Was certainly a trip not to miss - fabulous!

I came out as a lone traveller to Bali so I essentially had a private guided tour! My local guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, so the day passed very quickly. In addition to explaining the different places we went to, he spoke about the religion and politics of the area (I knew very little about Hinduism and he was very good at explaining it), and the history of Bali and its colonisation. I'm very glad I booked a tour rather than trying to get to the sites by myself, and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali!
