Our tour with them went extremely well. We had fun touring around the metro and experienced new things. I didn't know the tour would be so informative and fun. The experience with the guide is impeccable and the experience was seamless. Hoping to book another experience again in the future.

Food was absolutely terrible. Chloe was great. But overall a terrible experience. Overpriced for the cheapest food she could find. Terrible part of Manila. Only good thing was the beer.

Food was great and got a nice history of the area. We had about a dozen different kinds of cuisine at various restaurants and street vendors around town.

My wife and I did this tour while visiting Manila on business. It was a great experience although we weren’t expecting the sheer amount of different things we were able to sample! All of it was wonderful and we especially enjoyed that we were able to visit some very small family-run places that we probably never would have found let alone visited during our time in Manila. The variety of foods was good as well - we’re fairly adventurous eaters but I think the options offered would still be suitable for more picky tour participants. In my experience, it’s always a good sign when you’re eating at a place that is full of locals too, and that was certainly what we saw throughout the tour. Our tour guide Chloe was amazing and was full of great information about the history of Manila and of the Chinatown itself. In all, we’d certainly do it again and will recommend it to others

It was a fun, informative and a gastronomic experience. It was amazing and bery satisfying to find hidden food gems in Binondo. Chloe was also an excellent story teller, making the entire experience memorable.

We had so much fun with my family!! We tried many kind of food. Especially the quize we guess what the part of meat was really fun and exciting. Jian, our guide, are so nice. Our English are not enough, though, he kindly spoke to us. I realy appriciated that. We also had fun to walk around towm. Anyway, thank you for giving us special experience.

This is an amazing street food tour. All the food was delicious and it was great to pair it with the knowledge of the guide. My tour was with the owner himself, Jian, and he was incredibly knowledgable about the food presented and its history and significance in Filipino culture. I would highly recommend this tour and my next trip to Manila I will be getting the Chinatown tour his company offers

We had a great experience. Tita Oyette made several really tasty home-cooked meals - which started with a refreshing drink made with cucumber and lemon. A lot of food was prepared for our meal including misua, fried milkfish with atsara (a filipino pickle made with labanos, cucumber and vinegar), mixed vegetables cooked with coconut milk, our favourite beef steak, and palitaw for dessert. It was fun to have a conversation with tita oyette because she shared a lot of trivia and stories about the dishes she prepared. These foods are all authentic Filipino and each dish is made with a lot of natural and healthful ingredients. I would highly recommend for those who want to experience authentic filipino food.

This is a must do in Manila. If you want to sample Filipino foods that the locals eat, you have to book this food tour. Our guide Jian was amazing. Before the tour even began, Jian introduced himself and confirmed the meeting time and place. He was very knowledgeable about the foods and filipino history. My family thought the tour was already ending but come to find out we were only midway. We only completed appetizers. We did not even start our main course yet. You will end this tour happy and with a full tummy. Amazing local tour. Jian you’re the best!!

We loved this tour! Make sure to come hungry because you’ll be eating lots of different food. Our guide knew lots about the city and had an answer to all of our questions.

Jian of explore Manila Tours did a great job in taking us to fantastic local food eateries giving us an amazing variety of food, history and fun. From our ride in local motor bikes to beers at the pool pub and karaoke the time went so quick. Great value Jian terrific guy who went out of his way to make the tour a memorable event. Well worthwhile.

Could not recommend this tour more!! My husband and I truly enjoyed our street food tour with Jian. It was my husband's first time in the Philippines and my first time trying street food. Jian made the experience so comfortable, educational, authentic and deeply enjoyable. His passion for food, history, and culture truly shined through on every aspect of the tour. We even got to ride in the tricycle and the Jeepney briefly! We left with full tummies, snacks for later, and unforgettable memories. If you have to take only one food tour, highly highly recommend this one!
