Singapore Zoo Morning Tour. No breakfast with the orangutans
From US$40.33
The Singapore Zoo is home to several thousand animals, perhaps none more popular than a resident family of orangutans. This package combines a tram tour of the zoo with an option for breakfasting with orangutans, which are part of one of most successful breeding programs in the world. It’s an unusual combination that offers a little more intimate—but still safe and humane—interaction with animals who often make great company.
What to Expect
Get picked up from most major hotels in Singapore and Sentosa Island and head toward the zoo. If you’ve booked the optional breakfast, you'll be directed to Ah Meng Restaurant, where you’re treated to a buffet breakfast. Watch a resident orangutan family—part of the zoo’s successful breeding program—descend into the backdrop enclosure. Eat in their company, and take a photo in front of them if you’d like.

After breakfast, hop on board an open-air tram for a trip around the zoo’s habitats, which are designed to mimic natural environments from rain forests to Himalayan foothills. Spot large animals from a distance, and get closer to others.

Step out, stretch your legs, and explore on foot when the tram stops at designated points. Listen while your guide tells you about the resident animals’ lives and habitats.

Your tour returns to the original departure point in time for lunch. Sadly, without the company of orangutans.

Splendid experience for breakfast close to being in rain forest

The difference in any other breakfast other than the good spread of Asian and western food is that you get to view close with the Orangutans. If you have kids or want to make a special impression of a surprise breakfast for your partner this...More

Breakfast with the cousins!

We had an amazing breakfast with the Orangutans, you didn't get to touch them and the photos were taken by the staff so you got what you were given, however, the experience was great and I would definitely recommend the experience.

This was a very good tour. Not enough time to see the zoo in detail but I had an afternoon tour boked as wel. Better to stay longer at the zoo if time available.

You can make your own way back later if you wish - just let the tour leader know. There are other ways to get back to the city. There is a little "tram" which goes around the Zoo, and you can get off at various stops to view... More
