Overview

Bicycle around Bukit Pakau and the Chek Jawa Nature Reserve on a 3.5-hour guided bike tour of Pulau Ubin. Experience untouched nature and be on the lookout for wildlife in the mangroves, then get a glimpse of Singapore’s past on a ride through the traditional 'kampong' (village). Depart in the morning or afternoon on a round-trip ferry from Singapore.

What to Expect
Meet your guide at the Changi Point Ferry Terminal in Singapore and depart by ferry to your Ubin Island destination. This half-day bike tour lets you get off the beaten track into a natural oasis that is unknown to many travelers. Those looking for a bit of adventure will enjoy the challenging, yet achievable, dirt tracks and hills with the unexpected around every turn.

If you set off in the morning, you're more likely to observe wildlife, from wild boars to forest monkeys, while riding under the cool forest canopy. An afternoon departure showcases the beautiful island lazing through cooling weather while the mangrove tide subsides and the creatures emerge from their nests.

Pulau Ubin offers a representation of what Singapore was like in the past. Step back in time and learn more about the old way of life during the kampong’ days, when nature played a larger part in daily life. Cycle to attractions such as the German Girl Shrine, Bukit Pakau, Chek Java Nature Reserve, and Pulau Ubin Town. Your guide knows the island inside out and shares fascinating stories along the way.

The half-day tour concludes with return ferry transport to your starting point.

You can take a taxi or by bus (this last one might take you quite some time, taxi is better and in Singapore they are not expensive at all!).
