The trip was so nice.. tour guide Nasir and Driver Isaac were very friendly and helpful. Nasir shared a lot of interesting stories and made our trip memorable. However, would it be very helpful if Company would provide lapel mic and flag while doing the tour to avoid late comers. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you

        Warning- Operator Closed
Warning - Operator closed. This tour does not exist, the operator is not trading any more even though you can still book and pay for the tour. Should not be allowed on Tripadvisor. Very poor control by Tripadvisor.

Good trip but Poor tour operator experience.
We hit the rough spot with the tour operator right from the start. Our private trip pick up time was supposed to be at 9am, we were ready and waiting at the hotel lobby and no sign of the driver or tour operator's car. We called them 10 mins past the hour and the Operations manager of AJS said they would pick us at 10am (instead of 9am). They claimed they tried to reach us the day before. Now that claim was debatable as my hotel took all my others messages and passed it to me with due diligence and when I checked with the hotel about a message from the tour operator, they said no messages were passed on to us by the operator. And we were completely jetlagged that morning, having arrived only the day before and I had to rip my son out of bed to meet the 9am planned start time! Anyway, with the bad start nehind us, we waited till 10am for the driver to come. JaiGanesh came around 10:05am but there were no water bottles in the car as part of the package we had booked, which meant to had to do another pitstop after we started our trip. On speaking with the driver, we got to know that this was the tour operator's modus operandi - they were severely understaffed and each driver did multiple trips of airport runs and drops to hotels in between the full day trip bookings which came through to them from tripadvisor and viator! Infact out of the 3 private trips which I booked in KL, this was the worst of the 3 with the car in worst condition (a proton rather than the Toyota innova which we got the other 2 occasions of our KL tours). Anyway, due to the lateness of the tour start, we decided on doing just one side in the cable car (going up) as both sides would have meant quite long waiting times for the cable cars. Going up was non-incidental but gave us a good glimpse of the landscape. We were hoping that the driver cum guide would brief us a little on what to expect inside the genting highlands, what were the theme parks, which ones to visit and how much time available to us etc. But nothing. JaiGanesh was so busy with other pickups and drops from his company that he dropped us at the cable car point and mentioned where he would pick us from and when. And that's it, he left. We visted the indoor theme park which overall had quite a few rides, but the real thrill rides were not all working. Infact, out of 9, only 4 were working as the rest of the rides were supposed to undergo for maintenance from the next day. we still had good fun and my son was absolutely thrilled with the VR experience they have in that park. We didnt have time in the end to do the outdoor theme park or the snow world as they had timed entry and we ran out of time. On the way back, we were supposed to visit Batu caves. On reaching the caves, the driver and the tour operator again started to act up. Every operator gives a 60 mins (min) stop for Batu Caves, our driver and the tour operator pushed us to finish in 30 mins!! That was ridiculous! 3 temples at the base and then ~280 steps to the top where there were 2 more temples to visit - not even Lord Hanuman can complete this in 30 mins! We finished the base 3 temples in 25 mins and came back to the car and requested for another 30mins (a total of 60 mins which seemed logical and fair) to go up the Caves and back. The driver Jaiganesh and his tour operator started throwing all kinds of excuses as to why we cannot have the time! They mentioned that they "advertised" Batu caves stop as 30 mins only and it was just a drive by and not a stop and visit, blah blah blah! By this time, we just lost it! The guy comes late to pick us up, then hurries us up the entire trip and then doesn't allow us to visit the temple by giving us a decent amount of time to do the spot. I spoke the the manager, mentioned to him that I will be mentioning about my experience of this tour online in trip advisor so that others dont get cheated! He then comes back saying it's okay for us to take more time and finish the caves! Such a horrible experience, we hated resorting to those vieled threats that we would exppose them online, but that's what worked in the end. In the end, we loved Batu Caves quite a lot. The base cave had all the scenes from Ramayana depicted there and the Murugan temple right at the top of the cave had such a peaceful aura to it. Our recommendation - Genting and Batu Caves are a must visit, but you are definitely better off taking another tour operator who doesn't resort to cheap threatics with the customers. Also, maybe its not a great idea to club the two. If you have kids in your group, go for a full day Genting Highlands trip where you can spend the time doing all the theme parks. If you are interested in the Snow World, get a ticket first once you arrive the highland park, as it has timed entry inside and then do the other theme parks. Batu caves is a must spot to visit, but do it at a liesure pace. It's a very serene spot where you can easily relax and spend a couple of hours peacefully. And definitely use another tour operator for this tour.

        Very nice place
2hr drive from Kuala lumpur. Went to st Peter's church. Must cover up. 45min Malacca heritage walk.walk starts off walking up stairs to view old church, then down the stairs. stopped for a look around at the stalls'then through the streets of shops to a temple' back to the bus then lunch.you have the choice of taking a rickshaw if you don't want to walk up and down the staifs. Nice lunch. After lunch See an old Chinese cemetery and another temple, where you can also buy fresh fruit for the trip back to KL. Big day. Great day.

Terrible Service. Car No Showed, refused any refund. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!
My wife and I visited Malaysia on the Princess Sapphire. We contracted with this company about a month before we arrived, wanting a premium experience. We paid over $200 only to have the driver not show up. We went to the port gate as directed, - no driver with a sign. Asked several of the other dozen or so drivers there if they could help. Nothing. Finally (after 1 hour of waiting) a nice lady who had been observing our plight offered to include us on her tour in a van as they had a couple of seats open. This was about 9:30 AM, (we first arrived at the designated location at 8:30}. We accepted and salvaged what we could out of the only day we'll probably ever have to visit KL. When we returned to the Sapphire Princess we called Viator to demand a full refund. After a 24 hour run-around we just received an e-mail denying any refund. The company claims that WE no showed! We will dispute the charges on our credit card as that is our only option. Fortunately Mae, the lady who invited us on her tour witnessed most of our predicament and will support our claim. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE UNETHICAL AND WORSE, UNRELIABLE!. After this experience we'll never book anything through Viator again either. BEWARE!

        One of the better airports
A great airport that is a true reflection of being Malaysia’s capital city Kuala Lumpur Airport! Travellers should be aware of the fact that there is KLIA 1 and KLIA 2, where the latter serves more budget airlines whilst KLIA 1 serves full fare and served airlines. Check in is usually expeditious and efficient but be wary of peak hours and periods where the immigration queues can be quite hectic and challenging, therefore it would be always good to come a little earlier rather than miss your flight. Note that there is a satellite terminal that serves certain gates whilst the main terminal serves another. So again timing and good planning could save you a couple of heart seizures.

        Putrajaya Tour
Putrajaya City tour via Taxi, 2-3 hours tour is enough to cover all major locations.. And wetlands not included in that time, it is good to separate the visiting wetlands alone for half day along with family ..

        Unexpected delight
I traveled to Kuala Lumpur for my job and decided to tack on one extra day for sightseeing. I didn't have very high expectations as I had not ever heard of Kuala Lumpur as a hotbed of tourist sights. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. My guide, whose English was impeccable, shared sights, insights and humor throughout the day. Highlights included the new and the old Royal Palaces (and tons of intriguing information on how Malaysia chooses its royals; it's a vote and not inheritance, and there's a new king every five years); Batu Caves, a cave complex that boasts the most amazing (and colorful) Hindu temple I've ever seen (and I've also traveled to India); and the Botanical Garden (home to the world's largest aviary; as a bird lover, I had to check it out). The tour also included lunch at Central Market and many other stops. However, I set the pace; one of the first things the guide said to me was that we would spend as much time as I wanted at each of the attractions; none of this "Be back on the bus in 15 minutes" crap you get on group tours. And yet, I saw everything I wanted to see in the eight hours, and was returned safely to my hotel. As a single woman traveling solo, I felt completely safe at all times with my guide. I highly recommend this option over any group tours -- well worth the price.

        Tourist trap
Easy to get to, by monorail. The steps were good with monkeys running around, very friendly. The colourful temples ok but the place is very dirty and you felt unclean being there. Indian vendors trying to sell something to you like a market. Couldn't wait to get back on monorail.
