About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- arcticmarc0 contributionsThe “Coles notes” version of Chiloe IslandThis is a full day with lots of travel. We visited four towns and probably could have got away with just two as many are so similar it’s difficult to tell them apart. The artisan fairs sell the same products in each town so if you visit one of the larger fairs you’ll have seen what’s on offer. Would have liked to have more free time to roam two towns rather than have four 10-30 minute stops. Still learned a lot a out the area and had a wonderful time seeing what we could in the brief time we were in towns. Lunch was good except for the chicken soup which was watery with few carrot pieces and a spoonful of rice. The main dish offerings were enjoyed by all and the chefs were flexible and accommodating for allergies. The ferry crossing of Chacao channel was one of my favourite parts of the tour and our guide Carlos was fantastic!Written 2 December 2024
- letstraveltheworld240 contributionsShort visit to FrutillarMy husband and I took this tour with Andrea. Andrea was lovely but this tour was not what we expected. In bike tours we’ve done before, including in Santiago, the guide would bike with us and show us things along the way. This tour is different. We first drove to Frutillar on a scenic backroad, and about 10km outside of town, we took the bikes out of the truck and rode them while Andrea drove ahead. This was a nice ride through the countryside. When we entered the town, we rode our bikes for maybe another 2km. We then had about 45 minutes to walk around on our own. We had just enough time to try a local pastry called kuchen, but had no time to visit the German colonization museum. For some, this tour might be perfect. But it’s not what we expected. We really like Andrea and we think that with some tweaks, this tour could be easily improved, including a more accurate description, and more historical and cultural information.Written 29 November 2024

- Seaside239678027640 contributionsBeautiful scenery, amazing trip!Had a good trip with the guide, Jorge, and the driver, Klaus. Jorge is really friendly and makes an effort to chat with everyone. Klaus is the reason for the smooth ride. Both are really professional and helpful during the tour! Lunch was reasonably priced, and the host at the local restaurant is super hospitable! The scenery is definitely worth a visit!Written 5 November 2024
- Margaret T0 contributionsA unique and memorable experienceA unique and very enjoyable experience. A long day but the scenery was stunning and so varied. Big mountains and blue lakes plus a bumpy rough road hour through rain forest climbing up as you crossed the Argentinian border! Do it if you get the chance.Written 12 November 2022
