This was a very comprehensive tour of Santiago, neighborhoods to the presidential building to the top of Cerro San Cristobal. Our guide Christian made sure we had a wonderful experience, including the best empanadas in the city. Great finale to our time in South America.

A wonderful day! Driver Alejandro and guide Claudia arrived exactly as scheduled in a spotless, roomy, and up-scale vehicle. The 10-hour tour began with beautiful -- but less-touristic -- "cerros" in Valparaíso, then continued to a winery where we enjoyed a tour, tasting, and delicious lunch. Alejandro expertly maneuvered us from place to place in Santiago and we enjoyed Claudia's walking tour of Constitution and Liberty Squares, toured the Pablo Neruda's home (La Chascona), saw Plaza de Armas, and drove up Santa Lucia hill prior to drop-off at the airport in the evening. Throughout the day, Claudia offered detailed information, shared personal experiences, and happily and thoughtfully answered our many questions. Overall, it was a well-planned, well-executed, secure, and engaging day! Many thanks for this great experience!

We had an afternoon and wanted to explore Santiago. This tour provides the basics of the city. I had booked with an English speaking guide because we speak absolutely no Spanish. The guide was nice and friendly, but didn't speak English well enough to keep us engaged. The sites were nice, the driver was good, the vehicle was air conditioned and clean. I would not recommend this particular guide if you speak no Spanish.

My wife and I just returned from a trip to Chile. While in Santiago, we were fortunate to find Mauricio Escobar, who is a tour guide with a car for hire. It was a fabulous choice. We don't like to go on large commercial tours, so finding Mauricio to drive us around for four days was magic. He's the kind of person you like immediately, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We spent the first day at 4 wineries chosen by us. He made all the arrangements and drove us to each, perfectly on time. BTW, he is a very careful driver, following the speed limit and rules of the road. His English is fluent, struggling only a little with American slang. He then took us to Valparaiso, Vina, and up to Renaca. He knows these cities like a native, and took us to some cool restaurants we never would have found on our own. Jamie was a great tour guide. He gave us a lot of information on the history of Santiago. We enjoyed seeing all the different areas of Santiago, and the view from Cerro San Cristobal was beautiful you can see all of Santiago.
