My wife and I booked a day trip to Mindo with Amanda and had a great day out. Amanda picked us up from our hotel near the airport at 8.30am and drove us to Mindo. She had already provided us with a list of possible activities and we discussed them on the way to Mindo. Amanda pointed out various points of interest en route and is a very knowledgeable guide. Our first stop-off was to feed hummingbirds, which is something we will remember as a highlight of our holiday in Ecuador. We then continued to the small town of Mindo to see the waterfalls. We crossed the valley in a cable car and Amanda explained the different routes available. Afterwards, we went on the coffee tour and cocoa tour. We thoroughly enjoyed both tours. Amanda drove us back to the hotel arriving at about 7pm. A full days tour, at a very reasonable price. We cannot thank Amanda enough for a memorable day and hope to have the opportunity of her services next year when we will return with our sons.

My husband and I booked the Mindo Day tour with Amanda and we had such a great time seeing and feeding the hummingbirds, hiking to the waterfalls, having a local lunch and doing the coffee tour. Amanda was very nice, funny and knowledgeable about the area, animals, plants. We had a great time and will book another tour with her when we come back. A portion of the tour proceeds goes towards feeding and neutering the stray dogs in the area which was one of the reasons why we booked with this tour company versus others with similar itineraries.

Amanda did a great job of putting this tour together for Marty and I. Gus was our driver/guide and made it very personal for what we wanted. Our first time in a hostel our first night was quite an experience! Great time and learned a lot of the culture from Gus. One of the highlights was hiking into a waterfall and swimming, just the two of us.

I did a great tour to Mindo with Alex which was one of the highlights of the trip. The tour was tailored around what I wanted to see and the prices were very competitive compared to other agencies. Also the guide was very experienced in working with tourists so it was good to know I was in safe hands. Communication with Amanda was excellent in arranging my day. I fully recommend them for any tours in Ecuador!

We had a 1day trip to Papallacta with Amanda and it was very relaxing, helpful and informative. She also gave us a recommendation for restaurant and pub in town, we asked her to also drop & collect us. We had a great time at her recommendation and very reasonable/reliable lift home. Highly recommend, great English, great communication and excellent advice/prices.

Had a great and inspiring day trip from Quito to Mindo cloud forest. Amanda as my guide was great in picking the right options of adventures there and she showed a tremendous knowledge of botanics, people, history and the locations. It was so enriching. We hiked waterfalls, visited a butterfly house, hummingbird place (highlight: the story behind it), hat local almuerzo, chocolate and coffee on a plantation (let you show dripping technique!). Last but not least she’s easy listening to with her perfect English, a good driver and a friendly sunny person. So in summary I can highly recommend booking a trip with EcuaTouring.

No words to describe my gratitude towards Amanda and Pablo for being such phenomenal , super kind, and helpful guides!! They were quick to respond to my messages, and they were also super flexible with their schedule. This will be a long review because I booked different tours for before and after my Galapagos tour. All Inclusive Quito to Baños 2 Day Tour: I went to Ecuador solo, & booked a 2-day trip to Baños before I headed to the Galapagos. Amanda knows how adventurous and curious I am, so she offered me different activities I could do. She really helped me get out of my comfort zone. I even did my first ever solo hike because Amanda encouraged me to, while also ensured I was safe. I also told her that I would love to try authentic Ecuadorian food, in which she fulfilled. Don’t miss out on Baños!!! I would recommend this 2-day tour a lot as opposed to a day tour because there are so many things to do in Baños especially if you are adventurous like myself! It also takes 4 hours from Quito to get there, so you may as well stay the night and enjoy the beauty of that city! Otovalo/ Middle of the World/ Lake San Pablo Day Tour: After the Galapagos tour I had, I decided to take a last minute tour to Otovalo, Middle of the World (the REAL one, located in Cayambe), and Lake San Pablo with Ecuatouring. Pablo was the guide that day. He was super great and helpful to me and 2 of my new friends. He taught us a lot about the indigenous people in Ecuador and the different plantations in areas we visited. He even took me to a local market to help me find the fruits I have been craving! I also appreciated how he was constantly watching the vehicle while my friends and I ate to ensure our items were safe! Personalized Itinierary A.K.A. “The Mariah’s Cycling Journey”: I expressed to Amanda my love for cycling, and would love to be able to bike in Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, and Chimborazo, but had nothing booked yet. While I was in the Galapagos, Amanda created an itinerary specifically for my interests and cycling level! I’ve only ever done road cycling back in Canada, so experiencing mountain biking for the first time in Ecuador with Ecuatouring was perfect for me! I enjoyed every single minute I had on this journey! Every other companies were going to charge me almost $1000USD for the same itinerary due to being a solo traveller. But with Ecuatorus, I paid less than half for something that is specifically for my needs. Amanda and Pablo and accompanied me throughout this 3-day adventure. I saw more than I was expecting because they took me to other rural places that I didn’t even know existed, including a random cheese factory on top of a mountain in Chugchilán! Amanda and Pablo were also so sweet to the animals. They bought bags of bread and fed them to the stray dogs in the mountains where there’s no civilization. I thought that was a very kind gesture. If you’re an extreme dog lover, you would tear up. Amanda and Pablo ensured I was comfortable, satisfied, and happy. They helped me so much for everything, especially when I had to get a covid test requirements for my flight back to Canada. They also helped me find specific souvenirs for my friends and families back home. I truly appreciate everything they’ve done for me. Overall, my time with Amanda and Pablo did not even feel like I was on a tour, but more like on a family road trip! They really went above and beyond for me. They taught me so much about Ecuadorian culture and history. They were also my personal photographers and videographers (haha). It was so difficult to say goodbye to them. I couldn’t have asked for better guides. Amanda and Pablo really made me fall in love with Ecuador! I have more things to say, but this already a super long review. I would highly recommend Ecuatouring especially if you are travelling solo and have an adventurous and curious mind like myself!!!

Amanda picked us up on time and delivered a custom tour of Quito City and surrounding area. She was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend restaurants, as well as sights we'd enjoy. She even provided a few references before we arrived, since it was our first time in Ecuador, and I was a little nervous about the trip. Everything worked out perfectly! Amanda stayed with us for 10 hours, and we were all very satisfied at the end of the day. She also picked us up from the airport at a later date and drove us to Papallacta. I would definitely hire her again!

We chose to book with Amanda for our private hiking tour for our family of 5. Booking was easy and Amanda was very helpful from the outset. We had an early problem with the self employed guide that Amanda had employed to take us hiking. Unfortunately his car broke down and Amanda was amazing at coming to our rescue and sorting us out and rescheduling certain parts of our trip to ensure we still maximised our time. When Amanda came to our rescue she had a driver Jose who was very jolly and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them and Amanda’s knowledge of Quito and surrounding areas was excellent. We would definitely recommend her agency if you are a family or small group who want to be fully immersed into Ecuadorian life.

We found dealing directly w/ Equa Tour (avoiding a middleman like a booking company or a hotel) gave my wife & I not only the best value (saving close to 50%) but also a very personal, fun and informative guide/tour experience. We only had 2 days in Quito/Equador and selected the Mindo Cloud Forest & Middle of the World tour and then the Quito Old Town Tour. We had lunch along the way w/ the aid of our guide, Amanda, and she answered every question we had and became as a friend helping us through each day. She was more then generous with her time and extended our tour to suit our pace at no extra charge. She picked us up and returned us to our hotel & drove us to each place we desired and allowed us to customize our day. There are at least 3 other terrific tours to take which we simple did not have the time to take. Next time.Thanks Amanda!

Amanda was our guide on 2 days and Pablo on the third. They were extremely flexible,finding out what we wanted to see and taking us there; offering suggestions along the way. We toured Old Town, tried local cuisine, went to Intinan Museum, Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve, Cochasquí Archeological Park,Quitsato Equator (true equator), a hike in Mindo and birdwatching there as well. The brother and sister were very pleasant and both stayed with us until after 6 each day. Favorite activities were the bird watching,views at Cochaquí and Puluahua. The Intinan Museum was great fun but take it with a grain of salt. Very affordable guides.
