      Amazing day trip
My day tour to Otovalo with Dave was one of my best experiences in Ecuador. He was engaging, informative, and friendly in both Spanish and English. We had enough time to enjoy each of our stops and I loved all the information that I learned on this trip. My favourite part was the food experience in Cayambe - queso de hoja and bizcochos are delicious! The price for the tour is very good and I highly recommend it!

Historic Quito private walking tour was an amazing and fun experience!
Ecosportour recommended Steffi for a walking tour in historic part of Quito. I didn’t realize it would be a private tour. It was an amazing experience. So warm and she loved sharing the highlights of the rich history. I highly recommend Steffi!

Into the green with a tasty finish
I had a great time on this tour to Mindo, a lovely town in the cloud forest. Most exciting for me was feeding the hummingbirds and the ride into the forest in a small cable car - really unforgettable! David, our guide, supplied us with a lot of fun facts about Ecuador on the road and ensured we'd have great pictures of the tour to look back on. Thank you!

We had a great time on our trip to the lake. David had tons of facts and he answered all of our questions and gave us extra details. He even pulled over to allow additional pics and the local home and lama visit was an extra treat. Great trip and a true value for the money. Thanks David.

      Amazing Lagoon
Definitely worth booking with this company. They were very punctual to pick us up. David was our tour guide and not only provided us with great information, he even bought us a small snack and bananas before we arrived at our destination. Quilotoa is a mazing site, it was sunny and we did kayak inside of the volcano. Lunch was almost the best part! After a tough but rewarding hike up to the ridge, we had a delicious lunch! We got back late, but it was all worth it. You won't regret it.

      Good excursion to Quilotoa
They picked us from-to our hotel near airport. The tour started in the city. The Quilotoa is far from the city, so there were several good stops between. We visited a nice indian village and had a photo stop looking a big canyon. Also some coffee stops, good! The Quilotoa itself was amazing! There were also possible to buy indian products! It was a nice place! When coming back, we had a free lunch. There was included a suo, main food and a dessert and a drink. The main You could chooze from fish, meat or chicken. All were very delicious! I’ll recommend their excursions

This was such an amazing tour and would recommend it to anyone that has a free day in Quito! Stewie did an incredible job as our guide. He explained the history of mountain climbing, the culture and made us all feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. There were multilpe stops along the hike to ensure everyone was together and made it up safely. In one situation he even let someone use his trekking poles to help her with the decent back down since the elevation can be a bit much. This tour is in English and Spanish which is great for everyone. It was very impressive how he was able to smoothly bounce between the languages to keep everyone interacting. I highly recommend it! Thanks again Stewie for the incredible experience!

I had done the Community Hostal's free walking tour of Quito and ended up having dinner later that night at the Hostal. I'm a solo traveler in my '70s, and enjoyed both experiences being around the group of awesome young adventurers who frequent the hostel and its tours. so when I desired to go to Cotopaxi, I went to the Community Hostal's website to sign up.

This appears to be a pretty standard tour offered by multiple tour agencies in Quito. Note: You can save a few bucks booking directly through the Hostal's website. Early morning pickup was at one of 3 plazas around Quito. My group consisted of about 12 people from various parts of the world including a young family traveling with their grandmom.

Everything about the tour was handled very professionally. Our tour guide, Alex, was excellent. The hike itself (only to the Refuge due to volcanic activity on Cotopaxi) was not that difficult. The mountain bike ride started after the bus took us most of the way down the rutted, bumpy road, but was fun and long enough for me, especially as we finished in a hail storm. Alex was very careful to accommodate all the participants' various needs and ability levels. The lunch provided at a nice little cafe on the way back was good.

All in all a nice day tour of magnificent Cotopaxi and very good value for the money.

This was a perfect day!! Victor was an amazing guide and everything about our day was seamless and explained thoroughly. The hike was a bit grueling if you’re not adjusted to the altitude, and he reminded us time and time again that we were all to take care of each other. His ability to create a spirit of camaraderie and the professionalism exhibited made him my favorite guide in all of Ecuador. The Cotopaxi day trip was one of my highlights and cannot be missed while in Ecuador.

My first time in Ecuador 🇪🇨 a wonderful country with very nice warm and helpful people, the tour to Cotopaxi was great amazing views magical places full of mystery and a lot of beauty. As for the staff of this company I must say that the driver was very friendly helped me a lot Mr. David and I was our Guide that day was very well explained everything I understood everything was very friendly and was always friendly, Mr. Photographer I think his name was David too, an incredible kindness where he asked for photos took them without any objection was always attentive to a wonderful person. One thing they should improve is with the issue of eating pay attention clearly when you are allergic or you are hurt by some food and let the restaurant know that contamination of something that causes a health problem is very delicate so other more drastic actions should be taken. Pure life!!! friends and thank you for everything I had a wonderful time 👍🏻

This was a lot of fun. We had pouring rain, sleet, snow, howling winds and brilliant sunshine for our biking a d hiking. Which made for a exciting adventuous day but not over the top . The 3 guys running it were organized, competent, communicated well, and fun. They really seemed to care as witnessed by their taking personal ownership of helping one woman with a sprained ankle. The international group was good company. The lunch at the end was also good.

It was truly a great trip! We enjoyed the hike , it was absolutely doable , but you have to prepair with warm clothing, hiking shoes, sunglasses, hats and gloves for the bike ride down to the lake which is 8km approximately. We even had seen wild horses and fox on the way to the volcano . Alex, Joel and Luis were the best guides throughout the whole day, explaining everything in detail. The warm lunch also was yummy and cozy after the trip. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who loves the outdoors and some excercise!

Tough climb but worth it! Smooth pick up. Well maintained bus. Tour guide, Victor, was supportive and considerate of each person's ability level and needs. After a pit stop at a small convenience store for snacks/drinks/toilet, the bus proceeded to breakfast cafe for tea/coffee/breakfast if desired. Arrived at the trail head and hiked up the switch backs at our own pace to the rest hut. If you bring your passport, you can have it stamped. An optional addition is another short climb to the glacier. On the return route, mountain bike option for coasting downhill to the lagoon. The gravel road is a bit of a washboard so some people opt out and meet up in the lagoon via bus. After all the day's exertions, lunch is welcome. Return to pick up point about 5-5:30 PM. Full day... exhausting...spectacular. Bring layers, rain and insulation jacket along with sunblock/sun glasses/gloves/hat.

The experience was very good in general. Although the breakfast wasn't tasty and the restaurant they took us to didn't have much variety, everything else was amazing. Going up to the "José Rivas" base camp has its degree of difficulty, and the descent by bike to the Limpiopungo lagoon is simply extraordinary. Joel and Alex's treatment of us was always friendly, and they were attentive to us throughout the tour. It is definitely an activity that I would do again.
