- edgirl6790 contributionsA great overview of the highlights of QuitoWe had a bucket list of things to see in Quito, but only one day to see them. On this tour, we saw almost all of them (except for the Teleférico - you can’t do everything!). We saw the beautiful countryside from Pululahua Reserve, the equator exhibits at Intinan Museum, more exhibits, including paintings by Oswaldo Guayasamin, at Ciudad Mitad del Mundo, the Basílica del Voto Nacional and the Old Town. We had a lovely lunch in the Old Town (cost on your own), toured and sampled at a chocolate distributor and viewed Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús. We drove up the hill where the 150 foot tall statue of Madonna towers over Quito. The views of Quito from here are spectacular. We drove to these sites in a very comfortable bus, with explanations from our knowledgeable and fun guide, Felipe. While we saw a lot, we never felt rushed. I have recommended this tour to friends who are visiting Quito. I highly recommend it.Written 21 March 2024
- maegenk20180 contributionsCotopaxi TourThis tour was amazing! From hiking up Cotopaxi to biking to the lagoon, there wasn't a second I wasn't having fun! Not to mention our top-notch tour guide, Felipe, that made the journey even more incredible. I learned a lot about the area and was constantly entertained at the same time. 10/10 would go again.Written 21 March 2024

- Dream494540 contributionsAmazing Day Trip to QuilotoaWe had an amazing time going to Quilotoa with Felipe. It was just our family of 4 and him on a private tour. We got started early and he took us to a great breakfast place on the way. We also stopped to see some of the artwork of the indigenous people. It was quite stunning. Felipe had been recommending Quilotoa to us, and it was breathtaking. We walked down to the lake (bring good walking shoes) and rode horses back up. There are lots of photo ops on the way. Afterwards, we stopped at a local place for a nice lunch. On the way back to the hotel, Felipe kept showing us different attractions that he didn’t want us to miss. He is quite generous with his time and very passionate about Quito. Even though the ride was about three hours in each direction, it definitely didn’t feel that long and I would highly recommend going to see the crater with Felipe. We also visited the Middle of the Earth with him on a different day, and he was our airport transportation as well. I highly recommend Felipe for all of your transportation and tour needs in Quito.Written 27 April 2022

- Climber446253872730 contributionsGreat trip with reliable knowledgeable guideGreat trip with a nice and reliable guide. He took great care of us and provided for an awesome experience. We knew Felipe already from our airport pick-up and contacted him the day after for the trip to cotopaxi. His knowledge made for an exclusive and memorable trip. After the tiring hike up to the refuge (the altitude really makes it tough) and an relaxed round around the meadows he showed to a great lunch place...where finally cotopaxi revealed itself from the clouds... Anyways... Great experience... :)Written 30 January 2022
- Marcus J0 contributionsGood Times EcuadorThis was an awesome tour considering I didn't know what to do once arriving in Ecuador. Keep in mind you have to be in some type of physical shape, I was surprised. We had a large group and it was a good experience. The food was okay, the experience was great.Written 15 October 2021
- Cara P0 contributionsAmazing Experience, Challenging HikeQuilotoa Lagoon is a beautiful place to visit and our tour was amazing. It was customized to fit our needs and felt relaxing abs not rushed. Our guide was great too! One caution, the hike back up is incredibly hard and will take hours. We have hiked a lot and really struggled. There are donkeys to carry you back up. However the day we were there, there were only 2 for 50 tourists. We waited for them at the bottom but soon realized people on the hill were intercepting them. So we had to hike up until we found donkeys heading down. It was a little scary thinking we might not make it back up. Just know your limits and check for Donkeys.Written 24 December 2020
