        Incredible Experience in Galapagos
Fantastic experience using this agency to book our 5-day trip to Galapagos. They took care of all the details, and we were able to truly enjoy our time there. Their guides were all so knowledgeable, it was great to learn so much about the flora and fauna of the islands. They were quick to respond to any question we had and helped us organized the trip of a lifetime. Their hotel option in Isabella hit it out of the park, we loved our stay there! I highly recommend using Takiri to organize your trip to Galapagos.

        Galapagos for the solo travelers
We did a solo travel trip with another couple through Takiri travel. I highly recommend them, they gave us 5 star service. It was like having your own personal concierge. We lost a passport during our travels and they helped us find it and return it back to us from another island. Alex was helpful with personalizing a trip for us from start to finish including booking all the excursions, he gave us recommendations on hotels and restaurants. You will be in good hands with Takiri travel!

Galapagos trip of a lifetime with Takiri Travel!
Alex from Takiri planned and executed a fabulous trip to the Galapagos Islands for us! My husband and I had a fantastic 12-day trip on the Galapagos Islands that exceeded expectations. Alex was a great partner from the beginning as he created a customized trip that was awesome on so many levels. Our trip was personalized to our interests and budget. We stayed on 3 different islands and our excursions included a few others. Through multiple video calls, Alex got to know us and understand what we wanted to see/do as well as our desired activity level. Our goal was to travel independently but have some personalized service and assistance with transfers which is exactly what Takiri offers. Every step of our trip went perfectly smoothly - we had guides meet us at each transfer and felt completely comfortable that our trip was very well organized - all the transfers and connections were seamless. Throughout the planning process, Alex was very responsive to all our questions (and there were many!!). Takiri is very happy to accommodate different budget levels for hotels so be sure to be clear on what type of accommodations you are interested in. Alex was also very helpful with providing restaurant recommendations and suggestions for free time. Each excursion was fantastic, and Alex arranged an itinerary that provided a great variety of activity and opportunity to have many unique experiences. We traveled in October which is a cooler month but enabled many fantastic sightings of sea lion pups, blue footed boobie chicks, and male frigate birds during mating season. The snorkeling was amazing! We snorkeled at 7 different locations and saw something new each time. The wildlife did not disappoint! Takiri works with exceptional on-island points of contact and guides. The guides’ deep knowledge of the islands’ unique ecosystems and wildlife was truly remarkable. Every excursion was filled with fascinating insights about the flora and fauna. They shared personal stories about the conservation efforts underway, the history of the islands, and their own experiences growing up in such a unique place. What stood out most was their genuine passion for the Galapagos - this enthusiasm was infectious, making every hike, snorkel, and boat ride feel like a journey of discovery rather than just a tour. Whether it was identifying rare bird species or explaining the significance of a volcanic formation, they brought the islands to life in a way that was both educational and inspiring. The guides were very motivated to ensure we had a rewarding experience! It was nice to be able to travel independently but not have to plan all the travel logistics and each activity ourselves. Some of our excursions were just the 2 of us and a guide, some were with one other couple, and some were with 10-12 other people. Alex/Takiri provides a detailed itinerary including each day’s activities but also information about items not included, what to expect, contact information, etc. We rarely had a need to contact Alex during the trip, but he was immediately available when we did reach out. Shout-out to Kevin on Isabela – thank you for your personalized service! Thanks to Alex and Takiri, we had an amazing experience exploring the Galapagos! Definitely recommend booking a Galapagos adventure with Takiri!

        3 days exploring Volcanos Ecuador
We have spent the three days with Luis (guide) going mostly where we have expected...good walks, excelent views of nature especially volcanos, vegetation and birds watching. Luis was a really good guide, he has made all the difference with his knowledment about the places and each especies but the most important was that we really feel guided and supported by him in all aspects, we could notice his passion in guiding and providing explanation for all. Thanks for Takiri agency, for also the prompt responses since the beguinning of the contact by understanding our needs into experiences.

        Wonderful vacation with Takiri org
The trip was fabulous. We went to San Cristobal for two days, Santa Cruz for one, and Isabela for four. I only wish we had had a little more time in Santa Cruz. All the islands were great and my favorite activity was snorkeling with sea turtles in the tunnels (Los Tuneles). That is a definite must! We were super active doing hikes, walks, mountain bike riding, kayaking, snorkeling. It is not for the faint of heart, but due to that high activity level, we feel we were able to see so much in a short amount of time. Alex /Takiri was terrific to work with, and all the guides were great / highly knowledgeable and friendly throughout. The 16k hike in full sun was a Bit much (we are in our mid to late 50s), and the speedboats could be nauseating, but really that's all I would change :)

        Great itinerary for great price
It's a great trip for those, who wants to see and experience Galapagos but don't want to spend a fortune and don't want to organise every activity for yourself. The itinerary is well planned, you can see all the most importants things in Isabella and Santa Cruz, however a little bit intensive. Takiri was great, they were nice and spoke well in English. You don't join for a fix group, every activity is separate with separate guide and group of people.

The trip that exceeded all expectations
Takiri Travel helped me to plan and realize my dream trip to Galapagos! They did a great job to tailor made an itinerary that answered all my wishes although I only had a few days for the trip. It was exactly what I was looking for and Takiri provided full support during my entire trip. Both the trip and my contact with Takiri exceeded all my expectations

        great experience in the Galapagos
We had a great time. The hotels were excellent, the food delicious and the tour company very responsive to us. When we encountered a few problems along the way, they were on it immediately and helped to sort it. We highly recommend travel to Galapagos by land. It's a different way to see the islands than living on a boat, which didn't much appeal to us. Takiri is a young company, and they really go out of their way to make the experience a great one.

        Amazing, highly recommend
Takiri Travel is amazing, highly recommended! We are a couple in our 30s from California. My husband reached out to Takiri a week before our departure, and asked them to draft 7 night itinerary with highlights including hiking, diving, and snorkeling. Takiri staff immediately responded with an itinerary for an unforgettable trip in Galapagos that fits all our needs with VERY REASONABLE price. They listened to our requests and customized the trip. For example, I had two days doing snorkeling and birding while my husband went diving. They were even able to book a Gordon Rock dive for him which would normally be booked out months in advance. All the pickups were seamless. Staff were attentive. Lunch places were excellent (The Steak & Wine in Santa Cruz has excellent cuts for steak lovers). The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. Our guides were so knowledgeable and answered every question we asked: Astrid (Santa Cruz Island) has a degree in Biology and talked about neurology research in Frigatebirds; Erika (Isabela Island) identified all the birds during our Wetland Hike and taught us so much about Giant Tortoises and their behaviors. Hands down. The dive shop took spectacular videos for my husband he's still so stoked. I understand that a lot travelers prefer making their own plans, or have an impression that travel agencies are normally ripoffs. However, after chatting with individuals whom booked individual excursions, I realized our ROI with Takiri might be even better. Thank you Takiri Travel, especially the staff Alex, Alfredo and Kevin (Isabela Island) whom are kind and attentive, all the guides (Erika, Astrid, Alfredo Bologna, Darwin, Ricardo, Janeth) whom are truly passionate about their profession and the islands! I won't hesitate recommending them to fellow travelers. Sam & Adriaan

        Cotopaxi Hike & Horseback Ride
This tour was amazing! It's perfect if you have a limited amount of time to explore Ecuador. Our guide, Angel, was punctual and knowledgeable. During the drive to Cotopaxi, we learned a little of the history of Ecuador and the culture. We would definitely recommend this tour to family and friends.

        See the wildlife in Cuyabeno!
Amazing! So much fun! We saw so much wildlife: 7 types of monkeys, birds, caimans, sloths, snakes, river dolphins. For being way far from civilization, they feed you well, you sleep comfortably, guide at Green Forest Lodge was great! Getting there is a long trip, but worth it. Takiri was easy to work with, good communication, very reliable. Highly recommended!

Great adventure in the Galapagos for the price and young travelers
The 6-day Takiri Galapagos on a budget trip was fantastic and well worth the price. My partner and I really enjoyed the well-managed experience with the Takiri staff holding our hands through the entire travel process. For a couple who has never done a trip quite like this before, it was very helpful and removed a lot of the burden involved with a trip like this. The activities were fantastic! From the volcano hike and snorkeling in the Tunnels to the breeding center and darwin research plaza, activities were engaging and worth the time. While we decided to skip the last activity in our 6-day trip in favor of exploring the town and beaches of Santa Cruz island, we really appreciated how well managed our time was throughout the duration of the trip. Hotel accommodations and food provided were satisfactory and did not hinder our experience whatsoever. Last but not least, Takiri staff, tour guides, hotel staff, and locals are all very friendly and welcoming. I absolutely would recommend this trip to all those interested. If you have more time or budget available, the other groups we came across spoke highly of the 8-day trip as well.

        Galapagos, Quito, and the Amazon!
Alex personalized a hybrid trip for us, combining Galapagos with a 4 day trip to Cuyabeno and adding some trips around Quito. We absolutely loved the trip and Takiri was very reliable about always meeting us where and when they said they would. There were some bumps in the road, none Takiri's fault, and they always did their very best to work things out for us. Communication was easy. We'd absolutely use them again. One recommendation: the transfers were the biggest issues for us, and it's worth paying for whatever upgrades are available for ferries in the Galapagos and for transport by private car to the Amazon. Loved it, loved it, loved it! ("Who was with you" question didn't have drop down for just family -- we had no teens.)

Active trip with lots of memories and animal encounters
It was a family trip for us and it was a very memorable experience. Takiri agent, Alex was accomodating and responsive. Going with a tour and having good guides are very important to enjoy a trip like this because tons of logistics were involved at evety step. We couldn't have done as much activities without the help of guides. We would have wasted a lot of time and be stressed. Almost all the guides were helpful, knowledgeable and set our expectations well in terms of itinerary because things run differently on the island. Kicker Rock on San Cristobal was the highlight of the trip. Even though my daughter wasn't a strong swimmer, she wore a life jacket and hang out with the guide who was patient and took care of her, she had a memorable trip and saw many turtles and marine life. We had many wonderful experiences. We would highly recommend Takiri to others that are interested in going to Galapagos.

We contacted Takiri for suggestion of a friend. I was hesitant of going on a cruise after all that happened in the pandemic, but actually the Galapagos cruises are way smaller and have way less people than those, so it feels like you are cruising with friends rather than a commercial big ship. We choose a 7 day itinerary with La Pinta boat which we had been quoted for almost double the price previously in a different agency. Our agent Michelle was great and assisted us at every moment (and even provided the best advice for traveling in Ecuador!) the cruise was first class, we had a room with a huge window and the food was a dream. The islands... It’s all you’ve heard and more! We are happy we found this choice as in normal conditions we wouldn’t had been able to afford it. Thanks Michelle and Takiri for the great advice and the even better time.

I was so fortunate to discover Takiri Travel. I wanted to give myself a birthday present and I took my family to the galapogas. I was so nervous that my 3 grandchildren, 2 at age 15 and 1 age 10 would have a good time. All of my expectations were surpassed.
This trip, from the moment we were greeted in Baltras was absolutely incredible

We have traveled around the world, and I have never seen such great organization. The hotels were lovely, and everyone was so accommodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. They even gave my granddaughter Nutella with her breakfast. Breakfasts always had fresh fruits, juices, and eggs anyway we liked them. Lunches were always plentiful and delicious.

We were always met by the guides on time. All the activities and schedules were explained the night before. The guides were so knowledgeable and always helpful. I was concerned that the children might get bored. We went snorkeling 4 times, swam with sea lions, sea turtles, saw blue footed boobies and their babies, sharks, sting rays, iguanas, and an array of beautiful fish. We also saw a penguin, pelicans, flamingos, frigate birds, and many other birds. Every day was a wonder. We went kayaking, touring on boats, some hiking. I was so glad that we opted to stay on the island instead of a cruise because everyone went to the beach in the late afternoon.

In addition, Adriana, our tour planner met me in Quito to explain everything about the tour. It was such a great experience to meet her. Adriana would often call to make certain everything was going well. My children and grandchildren have not stopped raving about their time in the Galapagos. It is truly an experience they will never forget.
Thank you Adriana and Takiri Agency for giving us this amazing experience.

Takiri Travel did a great job at making sure I was taken care of throughout my trip, and were quick to respond via WhatsApp or email with any answers. They provided an awesome set of land based tours, which I couldn't be more satisfied about afterwards.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a great deal while in the Galapagos, book through Takiri Travel!

This trip was amazing!! We had dreamed of going to the Galapagos for years and this lived up to and exceeded our expectations! Takiri took great care of us every step of the way without hovering. And the outings were perfectly planned! If we had a hike in the morning, they planned something easier on the feet for the afternoon. We saw and did soooo much, and every single guide was fabulous! Takiri was very responsive if we had requests or issues. We were able to order wet suits for the Los Tunnels trip, which we highly recommend doing. And when we had two members of the group who got very bad motion sickness on the ferry, Alex arranged for flights for them and made sure we knew about the hefty luggage charges for intra-island flights so we could avoid that.

My friend and I booked this 4 months before leaving- and we couldn't have made a better choice.
The food was delicious, the tour guides spoke English l, the tour groups were small (some were even 1 on 1) and most importantly - we were taken care of from the moment we landed on Baltra to the moment we were leaving Baltra one week later.
Our name was on the top of every excursion list every day, our rides were always on time, our travel agent (Alex) was responsive, attentive, caring and even showed up at our door to say goodbye.
To have someone always ready and waiting for us before and after each excursion put us at ease. We did not have to worry about anything.

We did suggest that they adjust their itinerary slightly for future travelers and Alex happily took it into consideration.

We took the 7 day budget trip to Galápagos and it surpassed our expectations. We were a bit skeptical of the quality being the option cheaper than other similar options we had, but the only cheap thing in the tour is the price because all hotels, food, guides and activities are top quality! We never had a single delay from the guides and everything was so well planned and smooth. When back in Ecuador we then took their coffee and cacao tour that is how we got to know that this company really cares about their staff, their customers and the community they work with. Make Takiri your go to place for all your travel needs in Ecuador !

Our Galapagos 7-Day on a Budget Tour planned out by Takiri Travel was nothing short of spectacular! Everything was well planned out and executed in a timely manner. We had wonderful experiences on both land and water. We had one small snafu, which wasn’t even Takiri’s fault, but my Takiri contact Alex Santillán immediately took care of the problem (very early in the morning, I must say). I highly recommend booking through this company; you won’t be disappointed!

This trip was absolutely AMAZING. First of all, Takiri handled everything so perfectly - every tour, all transportation, and every small detail was handled so we didn’t have to do anything except enjoy. The tours were excellent - I went on some of the best scuba dives of my life, the snorkeling tour in Tintores was 1000/10, the bike tour, seeing tortoises in the wild, etc etc. i can’t say enough good things. All of the hotels were so nice and had a great breakfast. The tour guides were experienced and so nice. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and that is because of Takiri.

THANK YOU for one of the best experiences of my life! Everyone should book a tour with them. Best tour company on earth.

Michael was so helpful arranging the 7 day Galapagos tour for me. Very well organized trip. Even when there was an unexpected transportation delay the first day, Michael was able to last minute rearrange my tour so that I missed nothing on the itinerary. The Galapagos is a pristine, beautiful, and eye opening place to visit. Despite travelling during the pandemic, everything went very well. I met some wonderful adventurous people along the way. I'm so glad that I booked my trip with Takiri Travel. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I already have!

Our trip to the Galapagos was awesome and affordable. We traveled independently (not as a tour package) and stayed in fairly inexpensive, but nice, accommodations. The 3 towns we stayed in were all different from each other and were great to visit. The locals were very accommodating and friendly.

Went on 2 snorkel trips that were a great experience. Snorkeled with sea turtles, penguins, sharks, and marine iguanas.. Great trip!!

Hi guys, once again, thank you for booking with us. We're glad to know you enjoyed your trip. And you're right, each island has a je-ne-sais-quoi that is very interesting to see. Locals and wildlife have learned to live together on a very fragile ecosystem and that's the beauty of the Galapagos!
