Be decision we made.
Apr 2021
Booking through this company took the logistical chaos out of our travel plans. They made all the arrangements to include pick up and drop off at our hotel. It was the smartest thing we did coming from the US to Peru knowing very little Spanish. We made it everywhere we needed to, on time and had a beautiful day at Machu Picchu.

Country lock down
Mar 2020 • Solo
Under quarantine and no refund given. Government issued a 24 hour period to leave the country and none of us were able to leave. Stuck in Lima until further notice. I tried calling every number possible to cancel and refund the ticket - it’s not that I was not going to show up. Cusco was closed as well. NONE of the tickets were being refunded. That’s $400 I need to survive an extra 15 days + under quarantine. I hope that Tripadvisor sees this and does something to issue everyone their refunds so we can survive during this time. I’m sure the tour would have been lovely. But the tour guide is also under quarantine like all of us since the country is on lockdown. Tripadvisor needs to do a better job during country lockdowns during pandemics and issue proper refunds and cancellations.

Absolutely perfect day!!
Feb 2020
Mother-daughter trip in early February.
Very easy to contact the tour company, pick up right on time, bus very comfy for 1h30 one-way. Everything was incredibly well organized and easy for us, we had the most wonderful and care-free time.
Our tour guide was Lubi (Ludovico), he was incredibly patient and knowledgable, he was always waiting for the group and gave us enough time to enjoy and shared so much information!!
I totally recommend this tour for a care free day to see one of the wonders of the world!! Also, we really enjoyed the 360 train with snacks and meals for free, very incredible train ride!! (Sit on the Left side to go and right side to come back to enjoy the Urubamba river and moutains)

To go there we left from cusco, the train was very expansif, for just an hour and half, plus we stay overnight the day before,
If you visit very early machu picchu it is ok it is cooler but you could have the fog and the fog often stay on for many hours and it is time for you to,leave the place and to return
Very expensif very. Nice but it is rocks.
Please read a lot about the place so it will be more interesting
But it is a place tomsee

A must when visiting Peru
Jan 2020 • Couples
The most known place in Peru easily, takes almost 2 hours in a bus, hour and 45 minutes more with a train plus a 2h hike or a half an hour bus up the mountain. And it is totally worth it! It is bigger and more powerful experience than expected. Loved the history from the guide, so for complete experience recommend to go with a guide for sure. Loved it!

Exceptional and would Recommend!
Excellent! I’ve been on several of these including Costco etc. and this was very smooth and easy. In fact, it was better than expected. I’ve also noticed people’s reviews on here need to be taken with a grain of salt. From the hotel pickup, to the train, to a bus, to the tour at Machu Picchu and back the same, it was great. Hector was our tour guide and was exceptional. Thank you!

Trouble free way to get from Cusco to Macchu picchu
Jan 2020
The Inca trail is closed until March, but the alternative is hassle free and convenient. We took an all inclusive tour from Cusco leaving at 5am by private mini van to the station in Ollantaytambo where we were met by another guide to get us on the train. I chose the vista train which was the mid range option, explorer being the cheaper one... I sat right at the front of the train which was amazing seeing the mountains and rivers in front of me. Once we reached Agua Caliente we were met by another guide to take us upto the macchu picchu site by bus. What an experience to see this breathtaking city. After a two and a half our guided tour around the complex we headed back to Agua Caliente for some lunch and a trip back to cusco.... What an amazing day.

Hectic and Expensive
Sep 2019
Heading to Machu Picchu was amazing, but the tour itself was hectic. The original pick-up at the hotel was great, but once you get to the gates to travel around Machu Picchu its hectic finding your group and its impersonal. Our guide, once we got there, was great though! I just felt like it could have been better organized, especially since I had to pay $350 for the day tour. Also, the ride back was late and I wish there were able to offer at least bottled water during the long journey

Dear Darsha S, Thank you so much for taking the time to make this review and sharing your experience with us, we appreciate each of your comments and we are sorry about the points you weren’t happy about. Usually control documentation points (train admissions or Machu Picchu gates) may be hectic due to the amount of visitors and unfortunately our staff or other agencies staff is not allowed to enter or assist passengers in restricted zones, of course warning of control points where passengers must go alone are explained in advance, once inside the citadel guides make sure all of the booked passengers are complete. We truly appreciate the positive comments about our guide and Machu Picchu itself, this feedback is very valuable for us. Regarding the reference of the beverage, unfortunately this tour doesn’t include any food or beverages but passengers are free to take snacks for the day, the train company also offers a little snack but just while on the train anyhow we are having this observation in mind. Once again, we regret the incidents that took place in your excursion. Our area will continue working in order to assure our services quality and enforce communications. Kind Regards Quality Department Viajes Pacífico
