About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 451anda0 contributionsGreat tour of CuzcoSafe and reliable tour operator. We did a four day tour around Cusco and the surrounding area plus Machu Picchu. The guide was very helpful and nice. We spent a lot of time with William. Well priced to for the high-quality service provided. We would recommend to anybody. We are British tourists.Written 17 July 2024
- G1913DVrafaelm0 contributionsWhat an Adventure!!Wow, what an adventure! This tour completely exceeded our expectations. A complete jam packed whirlwind. So many exciting moments followed by local dining and transportation experiences. Our guide William took great care of us, and always made sure the trip continued smoothly. Can’t recommend William and this tour enough, experience of a lifetime!Written 8 December 2023
- 07896debs0 contributionsWhirlwind of a Machu Picchu adventure!Originally I wanted to book a long hiking tour to see Machu Picchu with friends, but after having injured my knee I realised it wasn’t possible within the timeframe; hence I was looking for an alternative! Having booked the 3 day Inka Jungle Trek directly through Peru Travel Company, this was fantastic value for money. The first 2 days were exciting activities, one after another. On the end of the second day, William (our main guide) lead us across the beautiful train track route leading to Las Aguas Calientes. Our last day, William (our tour guide) met us at the Citadel (as we decided to hike there) and gave us the Machu Picchu tour before leading us to the Huayna Picchu route; giving us clear instructions on our itinerary to get back to Cusco. The accommodation provided was always nice and clean, which is nice after a long day! This trek was a whirlwind adventure, and occasionally we weren’t sure what was happening but we went with the flow and William and the other guides always made sure we were taken care of. Thank you to William (in the photo) and the Peru Travel Company, we had an absolute blast!Written 23 November 2023
- ramistoteles0 contributionsExcellent everything!Excellent tour company! I did the salkantay trek. Everything worked amazing. Guides, food and accomodation excellent. They also have competetive prices. I can highly recommend this travel company!Written 12 May 2023
- יובל א0 contributionsFour days hiking and the last day was the Macho Picchu. The hike was pretty difficult but the guides were really patientReally nice people and really nice tour. Good guides that took care of us all the way. The guy at the agency was really nice and took care of us as well.Written 16 July 2022

- Quest5625550 contributionsDream adventureLoved this adventure! Our guide William was amazing and took good care of us. My husband and I took our 18 year old on the 3 day jungle trek. Magical memories that I will never forget. The food was great! Biking started in the clouds and the scenery was fantastic and just got better and better as we rode down. The river rafting had pretty good rapids and we saw lots of parrots. Amazing hot springs that was so relaxing. Zip lining was a lot of fun! So glad we chose this company/adventure! The hiking was beautiful and Machu Picchu was everything I hope for and more.Written 1 June 2022
- Linda G0 contributionsGreat value for moneyWe booked with this company and paid 130USD for the 4 days - less than everyone else who ended up on the same tour but booked with different agencies. We were really happy with the service: The bikes and equipment were in great condition. Our guide Vicente spoke English fairly well and tried to make it fun for everyone. Ziplining was really fun and the hikes never too hard thanks to several well-organized breaks. Food was also always excellent and more than enough for us personally (we would have loved some fruit for brekky - but hey, that’s high hopes haha). The rafting did not happen due to the rivers being way too high in rainy season (we saw them with our own eyes and did not want to be on them on a boat). But we were advised of this before (thank you!) and therefore paid a bit less. In total, I would say the best way to get to Machu Picchu! Just be aware to bring a good amount of change of clothes in rainy season ... mountain biking will get you DRENCHED!Written 12 February 2020
- Thorners10 contributions5 day Salkantay trek5 day Salkantay trek was so cool and lots of fun. Despite doing it in the rainy season we still had fun. The trek itself didn't seem too difficult of you have already acclimated in Cusco or previously trekked in South America. It was more feeling tired by day 5. The tour was very well organized, good camping accommodation, loads of food. The extra activities of the thermal baths and ziplining really made it. Cheers guys. Mucho gusto.Written 21 January 2020
- jose_aj80 contributionsAmazing Time!I had an unforgettable time climbing Huayna Picchu! The scenic views were breathtaking, and not just because of the hike up ;) The PTC, did a great job organizing everything and making sure we were where we needed to be, I never felt like I was left hanging. Great experience!!Written 16 January 2020

- emmasR9543XN0 contributionsWowzaaaI booked with Peru Travel Company at my hostel, which was a really easy process. They then paired me up with another group, KB Travel Company to do the Salkantay Trek with. I honestly can’t thank these companies enough for an unforgettable 4 day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu. It was well organized, the food was amazing (thanks Chef Atilio, Hugo and Vicente). Though I’m not vegetarian they went above and beyond to feed our veggie friends some awesome meals too! Our guide Big Willy was super knowledgeable and passionate about his job. We had so many special moments with Big Willy. I’ll never forget being able to take part in a special Andean thank you to Salkantay Mountain at the top of the pass, or waking up to hot coca tea in bed in the early, very cold hours! Definitely book the Salkantay trek, can’t recommend these folks highly enough!Written 17 December 2019
- Jaffer A0 contributionsGreat tour, extremely fun and headache free as all the planning is done for you!We had an awesome time on this 3 day tour which started with a 2 hour downhill mountain bike session. We hit rain at the top of the road which eased as we rode down hill and this added to the thrill of the ride. We then stopped off for lunch in a cute town in a local family owned restaurant. Then we did our next activity which was white water rafting and this was another highlight for me. This was my first time rafting and we had a great instructor who made it extremely fun and at no point did I feel unsafe. The following day we did zip line which was insanely fun. There were 6 lines with the longest being 900+ meters. Following this we had lunch and started a 3 hour hike. The following day was the day we'd been waiting for, the ascent to Maciu Piciu. We had a very tight schedule to maintain as we had a flight to catch that evening from cuzco, but William and his team made sure that we finish with time to spare. This 3 day tour is amazing, I would recommend that you allow more time though as I personally wanted to spend more time in cuzco and Aguas Calientes but we only planned for 4 days in total, I'd suggest a week for a good time.Written 5 December 2019
- 765milag0 contributionsBest experience ever!I had the time of my life at the 3 days Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu. William and Edwin are simply the best. I have fallen in love with Peru and everything is thanks to the great experience I had. I will never forget Peru. I can’t wait to be back with my family. Thanks to Willy and Edwin for accommodating me and providing the best services ever. You guys are the best. Abrazo de su amiga; Millie!Written 29 November 2019
- ashleighgibso56y30 contributionsUnforgettable all weather experienceWe booked the 5 day 4 night salkantay trek with William. He was very informative and helpful. As he is based in our hostel in cusco (draginfly), this meant everything was easy and convenient. We discussed all our options with him in depth and this included possibly changing to the 4 day package at one point, as one member of the party was unwell. He provided dry duffle bags for us to bring our extra kilograms along in and arranged sleeping bags, a hostel in Aguas Calientes and our first entry tickets into machu pichu for 6 am on the final day. He also advised us as to the best route back to cusco - which worked out to be the train in the afternoon- very scenic, shorter than the bus and relaxing. William was always avaiable on whatsapp and even provided reminders about the tour, what to bring and our route back to cusco. Highly recommend booking with him and Peru travel company.Written 16 November 2019
